The fact that I watched this series since day 1 is trully such an amazing experience. I'm so proud of you fwhip!!!
Watched this one and the older one completely too.i nean i was already there when it was built.
Same here man I got java edition because of this man
Thanks for being here for the journey!!
@@fWhip youre welcome

In that new open space, You should add some giant acorns or fallen fruit from the tree ! If they’re magical you could add some light source blocks to them to help off set the darkness created by the branches
that’s a fun idea!
The tree looks absolutely incredible! I think it would be amazing to add some sort of small temple or sanctum somewhere near the base of the tree. People who worship the tree could gather there and make sure that the tree stays healthy, since it hangs halfway over the city as well now in order to prevent the tree from dying and falling down. I think it would tie in well with the lore already in this world too!
he already has a sort of shrine looking at the tree but a shrine directly infront would be cool
Lore🎉
As someone who was always bothered by the original proportions the new canopy is a massive improvement! I understand why it took so long to finish I don’t think I would ever have the patience to place that many leaves. Great job!
The amount of patience this takes is insane. Like seriously, who is like, "You know what I want to do, *PLACE LEAVES IN MINECRAFT FOR 11 DAYS STRAIGHT IRL*
Break leaf place leaf break leaf place leaf break leaf place leaf
@@fWhipOne must imagine fWhip happy
@@fWhipto make a Harry Potter reference,“You’re a masochist Fwip”
Over 500 days of work have went into this project!!! And well over 100,000 blocks!! Please be sure to leave a like on this episode as I've now completed the largest build I've ever made in hardcore minecraft!! Thank you for all the support
Hey I was first uwu
Keep up the great work!!!
Fwhip just an Idea, use froglights to add glowing veins to the glass I'd be such a great detail
Yo fwhip if ever bored ect I ask that you add a little kinda wagon that's a shop owner by Jim the trader or smthing
fill the empty space you made at the end with custom magical forest !
I am so glad the community isn't angry at fWhip for using the Lightmatica feature for placing the leaves. I couldn't imagine having to do it the first time, let alone adding more this second time. The tree looks even more amazing and we're so proud of you fWhip!
People who get upset at the usage of Litematica are honestly weird and entitled. He's still building it in survival mode, and he created the design himself.
@@stan8479 People who get upset at the usage haven't used litematica, it literally just makes the experience so much more enjoyable
it actually inspired me to use it too cause I have so many huge projects and I either have to switch between my survival and my test world, or I can try and remember every block I placed :'D
And People getting angry that he's using a tool to make creating and building more enjoyable for himself are so entitled
Since hes a star trader, and he CLEARLY have a good time up on the sky, why dont name him GoodTimeWithStar
it would be so cool if you added a few spore blossoms hidden in the tree canopy! I think the floating spore particles would really add to the atmosphere :) you could also add some exposed tree roots in the surrounding area to make the tree feel more grounded and supported!
The tree is amazing. I didn't think it looked bad before but the difference is incredible. I love it so much more and the way it fits in the world.
Let’s goooo Fwhip uploaded. The progress of this world is insane makes me want to build a whole town but I have no where close to this skill 😭
Gotta start somewhere :) you got this!
Well u might not be able to build cool castles this quickly but if u start from small you’ll get better ❤️🩹 start building small hoses villages and towns and then practice on bigger builds if u want
i’ll watch you do that
is this ain’t the damn truth 😭✋🏾
wow, when fWhip said in the intro that this world is already around 2 years old, I realized how long I've been watching and loving this project.😉👍 great work.
You should name Star Trader, Orion :)
Is that an easter egg?
@@Olivia-ce8ie i dont think so its just a constellations name sooo
YES
I was JUST thinking that :D
Litematica and Creative planning is so cool, it helps you out and doesn't give you an unfair advantage. I wholly endorse it. :D
maybe build a small park where the trees at 35:35 were seeing as they've been they're for so long, it would be a nice homage to what was once there for so long :)
At first the purple bit of the tree looked kinda odd to me, but its started to grow in me recently.
I don't know if this was part of the inspiration but I love that it looks kinda like a baobab with the greyish bark. Baobab are so majestic so it fits absolutely perfectly as the mystical centre of your world.
I'm so glad you updated the tree, it looks both taller and fuller now.
It's always a joy to see clips from a livestream that I participated in, especially the azalea leaves one. Such fun discussions we all had! One question I have is, what if the world tree had seeds that fall from the canopy and float around the world? What if those seeds sprouted into smaller variants of the world tree? Nowhere near as big or as elaborate, but similar, like a "baby" version.
I can’t believe this tree was made so long ago. I do remember thinking at the time the canopy looked a bit small but this looks so much better.
I have to admit I was always iffy bout the canopy of the tree. So glad you took it on again as it is a massive improvement.
Oh my goodness that makes such a huge difference! I never realized how small the canopy actually was. Also its crazy that I've been watching this series since day 1. I subscribes right at the end of the last hardcore series when I was getting tons of inspiration for my own builds from your last series, and now I've seen how this new world has become something massive. Congrats.
i love the this world. it really brings me back to the days of Building with fWhip that i binged all the way through 4 years ago.
the fact you always make each world one huge interconnected whole always struck a chord with me. though i kinda miss your more frequent updates, since you're more focused on releasing whole giga builds, it never fails to give me a boost whenever i see you upload.
I'd like to suggest 'Captain Scholaris" for the Skyship Librarian
Hi fwhip!! It’s absolutely amazing that you take the time to upgrade all your old builds, and really put in the effort. I love how you expanded the leaves as it looked a little off, however now it looks absolutely perfect, and I think it really fits the lore. I love it! I’m trying to build my own city/town, but I am not great at building, so your builds always give me inspiration! Can’t wait for new papyrus to be finished!
Since the main focus of this video is the mega tree, I think it's fitting to name the star trader villager "Treestan" or "Treecia". Also, I'm so happy that you're finally upgrading the canopy of the tree, I've been watching since D-1 of this series and I'm so happy you're upgrading the tree that surprised me you did on May 2022! The result still surprises me! You really are such a master builder!
One comment here suggested that a shrine at the base of the tree would be a nice addition. If I could add on to that, perhaps the shrine could be at the back of the tree, in the middle of the city crescent, like the centre point of it all. A platform connected to the tree could also be interesting.
Fwhip DO NOT DIE. This is the best UA-cam lets play series till now.
Let's just all thank our fWhippie boi for not loosing his sanity while making all this for us ♥
for names i would suggest either Captain Flint or John Silver, specifically from Disney's movie Treasure Planet :) it's the first thing that comes to mind when i think of steampunk airships, and it fits with the villager being a world explorer!
Oooo I loved treasure planet as a kid!
me too! it's my favorite Disney movie ❤
Honestly happy he went with lightmatica for the leaves, placing leaves like that is such an insane pain in the peen and the more lazy you get with it the worse it’ll look in the end so taking a shortcut for everyone’s sanity was the right call
Loved getting a chance to revisit the tree, I loved the original more Baobab style look but the upgrade looks so gooooooood!
I'm usually a silent watcher, not really commenting on many videos but this build is genuinely incredible! The amount of time, love and care that goes into each project and video is so inspiring to see and it makes me want to get back into building in minecraft again! Love your vids
You definitely should name the trader Eärendil, best flying boat sailor of all time, slaying Ancalagon the black with it!
anyone who's tried to build a giant tree understands the realization of biting off more than you can chew. impressive work finishing this thing man!
For the glow lichen farm, you could make a small cave entrance under the tree like if a small mammal had dug a home in its roots
oh gosh cant imagine how much fun all that string placing must have been!
Not even going to think about placing string on the new leaf section yet
Especially in times when there’s not much going on in the empires world and UA-cam is full of hermits and decked out2, you deserve even more respect for your competing content. It’s always a must watch when a fhwip video pops up. Crazy detailing skills and choice of colour palettes. Love it. And even though I enjoyed your collab a lot on empires, I wish you’d get invited to hermitcraft. If I imagine you together with Grian and Scar… Not just the building skills, all the shenanigans… would be hilarious
You should watch some of Timmy's streams if you want to see Fwhip and Grian shenanigans. Them plus Joel just equals hell for Timmy. :3
I’m so in love with this series I can’t stop watching and get so excited when I see a new upload! You Should name the star trader Aster!
Meaning:Star; Flower. Aster is a gender-neutral name of Greek origin, meaning “star.” Aster is also a flower, named for its star-like appearance, and was considered sacred to the Greek and Roman deities. These ancient wildflowers are steeped in mysticism and have intriguing origins
this gets me so so excited to see how the city under the tree develops
I saw that villager and my brain just said:"Yep, that's Glorp alright!"
it's really fun watching Fwip place the grass and seeing how many different biomes the tree spans. Unironically very cool to watch
I thought of an interesting name for a villigare, and that would be "Doctor Stellar". I think it would fit and make him a backstory of an underrated scientist that had a dream of constructing such vechicle and being closer to stars. Nobody thought he could achieve that but now he is flying above the city of the people that mocked him, just looking down on them.
i can’t believe that i’ve been watching this series since the beginning! i’m excited to see the progress we’ve made in this world, and i’ve even seen some of the tree extension process on stream!
(Not meaning this an offensive way)Have you guys truly realized just how dedicated fWhip is to us!? Like look at his upload schedule, a video about every 2 weeks! Which might seem bad at first but if you think about it, if we were doing this same exact thing as fWhip is in his series, we would probably at least take a month to get a video out for stuff like this while fWhip has been uploading every 2 weeks. He has to build all of this and then the video has to get edited afterwards and all of this gets done in the span of 2 weeks! Truly amazing!
it's insane how something that takes so much time and resources can look like a "small" adjustment at a glance. the tree is absolutely gorgeous!!!
I'm grateful that Fwhip is so straightforward as a creator, it's so refreshing to come in and see the process as it unfolds, explanations on why everything is being done the way it is and why he does certain things for the sake of better art for us as his viewers, and it's honestly just so sweet. I fall asleep to his 1.16 steampunk series and I love to rewatch hardcore and hardcore skyblock. You're doing great, Fwhip! 🎉
It's amazing how much better the world tree looks now. Great job fwip!
You could add a little seating area/bench, facing the river next to the new farming house, as it's a really cozy place that I'd imagine the poeple living would use to chill out a bit after work.
Love the dedication to the series, and all the different types of environments you've created!
Wow!! I love the updated tree! Amazing job!
Open space area, you could put a druid shrine or something where local druids or shaman come to commune with nature spirits
Love your videos fwhip, keep up the amazing work!
Yayyy finally world tree has the glory it deserves! Awesome job fwhippy!
Also, i was lookinf at the world aesthetic whilst you were building and i was thinking: what about building howl's moving castle moving over the mountain? That could be kind of a cute little (well, technically not so little) easter egg? ❤❤
I'm so proud of you, fWhip! That shot of the tree up through the streets of the city is just gorgeous
Time really goes fast right? When fwhip said he made the world tree on may 2022, it makes me feel like i just time traveled. I've been following this series since episode 1 and i can't believe it' already been 2 years. I'm proud of your progress fwhip, keep it up❤
Yesss! Omg i'm so happy to see you tackle this project, it looks so much better!! It truly feels like the World Tree now :D
I'm glad to see you used Litematica for this. The sheer grind for just the materials is enough work as it is. Not to mention that IRL time doesn't really translate to a video. Whether it took 20 hours IRL or 5 hours IRL doesn't make much difference in the final video.
An idea for the name for the star trader villager could be Galileo! Going off the idea of "Star" trader since Galileo was an ancient astronomer.
I think a cool addition in that new open space could be some sort of ritual / worship spot in honor of the tree, to kind of tie in how important it really is to the citizens of the city.
Absolutely amazing! An idea for the open space is maybe a graveyard? I don’t think you’ve built any graveyards in this world, and it makes complete sense to me. But yeah, amazing builds as always, I will catch YOU on the Fwip-side :]
You should turn the big empty space underneath the tree next to the city in a sort of magical park, with large acorns and magic areas and perhaps a ritual center or two?? i think that would be a super cool way to incorporate the magic of the tree into the city
some sort of shrine or pilgrimage site at the base of the tree would make a lot of sense for such a big landmark / religious site :3
That is such a huge difference - and also you ended up spending almost the same amount of time on the canopy expansion as you did the tree itself
The world tree is *incredible,* the patience needed to build something that big and put down all the string is nuts, hats off to you--
Name suggestions for the star trader;
Stella
Constantine
Astra
Estelle
I actually like seeing UA-camrs have found a way to do the video easier. Trees take a stupid amount of time and I wouldn’t want you to burn out
Hey fwip, what about doing some roots popping out at random locations around the city? I think it makes sense for the size of the tree and it will make it fell like it hugs the entire city
Big tree is big, meaning this is a certified Fwhip classic
If anyone has a problem with you using easy-place really needs to put into perspective how time consuming placing the leaves alone would've been. For example, three hours is a long time to spend on a project as a hobby minecrafter, but time is arguably more precious when its your *career*, where every minute counts and you're always feeling as though you need to make content. Love your work Fwhip, enjoy your vacation!!
What mob will you vote for? Penguins, Armadillos or Crabs
Crabs
Crabs or Penguins
Armadillo fs
ARMADILLO
Crabs. People who vote armadillo will use the dog armor once, let the dogs sit in base and complain about how bad this mob vote was. Crab will be usefull for builders, even if its just 1 block extra
This tree build is crazy Fwhip. What a patience and perseverence.
Hey fwhip, when looking at your world map, where a bunch of rivers meet, there's the faint shape of a dragon. That's a huge terraforming project just for a map look but it would be cool to modify the rivers to define it.
Two things:
1. You have an overworld tree and an end tree, so now all you need is a nether tree lol
2. If you put string ontop of a growing pitcher plant before it gets to become two blocks tall you can make a field of onions!
I am so happy to see the tree being expended. I loved the original tree but it did indeed feel a little off. For the open space underneed the tree I think maybe you can make some big magical mushrooms or other type of ground coverage as you could imagine that maybe the ground has some magical substance in it. Idk do what ever you like haha
That tree is insane, the view from the back of the valley blew my mind
Now this is a tree !!! Congrats fWhip... Beautiful I love it
wow, the world tree looks absolutely incredible!! this has been one of my favorite episodes so far, can’t believe i’ve been here since day 1 💚
I've started treating my minecraft projects like I do my art projects: I have a few going at a time, one big and a few smaller ones. Having those smaller projects to take a break with while slugging through the big one makes the mental drain so much easier to deal with and keeps you from hating the big one so much.
The first video of yours I watched was about this tree! What a full circle moment. ❤
oh my goodness that is such a great tree! looks so awesome now, love how it added to the build below it too!
Your world is incredible and such an inspiration, you make me want to make things even half as beautiful and intricate as your own art.
I love the new canopy omg, I'm still rooting for some big purple glass crystals floating around the tree
So glad you did this! It turned out very well 👌
Love the tree so much more! So much work!
The wide canopy of the tree looks great. Given you now have airships in the air, you need an airport and a coaling station.
You should totally add a tempel to the tree in the new open space, or atleast somewhere in the city
I really appreciate all the effort to expand the tree! It is such an awful grind but looks so amazing at the end!
Hey fWhip! You could name the villager "Starlink", because of the Star Trader advancement and him being on a floating airship. Thanks ☺
As a former art major, using new tools to make your work easier doesn’t lessen your build. Digital artists make custom brushes to speed up their work all the time for simple things like chains or rows of books and background buildings. There’s nothing wrong with it, it just speeds up what you’re already doing and can still do without these tools. Work smarter, not harder. Love your builds, just keep having fun with what you’re doing.
Since trees are such a big part of ur world with this tree and the end tree i feel like u should do some sort of "special" tree in the desert town as well. Also another thing that would be really cool would be like an abandoned town with a dead tree instead
I cant even custom build a small tree to my liking I cant even imagine having the patience to build a tree this size. Looks awesome 💙
The light matica is definitely not cheating, it’s just a guide for what u wanna achieve. This looks amazing!!!
Star trader name: steve, star, rick the rocket trade
Love your videos by the way.😊😊
Name suggestion; Charles Muntz after the explorer in Up
What to add in the place of the trees, on the foot of the gigatree... maybe a temple, to represent the worship of the people who live there for the gigatree?
Awesome video btw, I don't think I could handle a grind like this.
love the new expansion!!! i've been waiting for this one but PLEASE THAT SNOW BELOW THE TREE I CAN'T😭😭
It'll be fixed eventually haha
Absolutely incredible. This world is a true work of art!
Hopefully you see this I feel like you should add some kind of underground either big rail system or sewer system
Im so glad you let yourself use litmatica. The project looks amazing and its a tool that helper you get there!
I can't believe it has been a year since the world tree was created time really flies by so fast
Fantastic! the tree branches look insanely good for the speed at which you build
Considering you have a giga tree in the Overworld and in the End, have you thought about making a tree in the Nether? Then you'd have a world tree for each realm!
