Daniel, you brighten my day. Love your sense of humor. I'm a 73 yr.old widow living alone and I look for your videos everyday. Thanks for making me laugh.
Let me join the old ladies club we got here- I’m 71, widow, but have 38 y.o. Daughter but she works nights! I love them all but the little one is so precious!
Yep, there's some really good people here. I live in town now, but used to have a little acreage and ran a few horses on it. One time, a McGill (not sure if he was kin to this McGill, my neighbor was J.J.) let me borrow his stock trailer to haul a small herd of miniature horses in, my two-horse was too small. He was a great dude, ag teacher at the Deaf School here, and started the Antique Tractor Club here. Miss him, he was good peeps. I'm fairly sure that Daniel and DeeJay probably knew him as well. That's why I love living here, this town's full of great people.
Your truck looks like a patchwork quilt. I like quilts. Houston is such a sweetheart. I raised three and a half boys myself and they are special to me. The half one was from friends of mine who were too young to handle a baby. His mom was killed by a drunk driver when he was just a little over a year old. They asked me to take him when he was just 6 weeks old. He is 22 now and his father just passed away. He has had a rough life. He is a good young man. See you soon in your next video!
Yeah, I liked seeing him drive the wheeler. He did a good job. On a different note, I think they need to teach Kelce to take the buckets to the wheeler and put them in the back.
You should paint it white and then have Houston spray paint it. Always fun to spray farm equipment. My grandpa had an old ford pickup and he let us spray paint it, we chose bright pink. He called it his “Barbie truck” 😂
I had one of those but with a 427 cid motor swapped from the old 6 cyl. Steel bed and a workhouse. Could not kill that thing. Sold when I moved. Side note, taught 3 of my boys how to drive a clutch on that thing, pure bullet proof.
Hey Daniel, Maybe she smokes a little, uses gas a lot - BUT, for what you want, she looks perfect !! The price was right, too !! Plus she's tricolored. Good luck and happy hauling, my friend !! LOL !! Oh, BTW - try using some of that 'Magic' foam that Mike Morgan from ODWTM's uses, next time you give the truck a wash.
Don't know if Houston's school has a 3 D printer, but maybe as a school project, he could make some lure molds for himself. Just a thought. Good luck Daniel on the old dump truck!
Your pond will look immaculate when it is finished I’m excited to watch the journey unfold I love what you do for the environment you’re such an inspiration to us all love your videos keep it up
One thing about you Daniel that I like is that you are going to take care of the equipment you receive and going to leave it better than how you found it or got it.
My goodness Daniel, you certainly have some patience with that dump truck. I'm not confident it will work either especially when it cant make the slope. Take care not to get bogged down. One thing going for it - it looks better for its wash and brush up!!!! Well done to Huston on his plastic project and hope he cleans up the mess in the workshop. Hes a good kid, bless him. Take care and safe all of you.🙋🏡👍🙏
You've got quite a beauty there, Daniel. (Choke) Anyway, good luck. Hi Houston. I really love your new haircut, the best one yet. That's a winner. I'm glad that you caught another hog, even if it's only one at a time. It's always nice to see the deer. The one shot that showed 6 around the feeder, you could see a couple more way out in the background. I can hardly wait till season starts. Have a great day, and God bless you all.
I was yelling at the screen telling you to floor it up the incline, 😂😂 I understand it's not yours & not wanting to damage it. That was really nice of your friend to let you borrow it. I was taught when you borrow something you return it better than it was when you borrowed it. I did that when my vehicle was in the shop and my small town Auto repair let me borrow their one and only loaner they had. I made sure it was swept out & more gas in it when I borrowed it but that's how I was raised. I hope the dump truck works out but if not it's not from lack of not trying it. That's cool Houston (sorry if I misspelled his name) is trying to make lures. I didn't know you could at home. I learned something new today! Hope you have a great evening!!
Daniel, I was going to say ( hey don't bring me into the video) yes I too have my health problem. Lol that old farm truck brought back some memories Houston, don't give up on making your own lures.
Oh wow!! I was tickled to see the tile with Bella that I engraved for you. The old truck may be "too old".....i agree with a dump bed trailer. Houston, you will get the process figured out and will be making awesome lures before you know it.
I would return the truck and thank them for the offer. As you said, you don't want to tear up someone else's truck. Also, if the mud doesn't slide out of that bed, you're screwed.
@@jay90374 because it is sticky and gummy. There is no adventure in damaging a loaned vehicle, then returning it that way, saying, "oops, sorry." But of course, I'm not the one involved there, so whatever he does is his decision.
I remember riding in the back of a truck just like that with my brothers and sisters when we moved up from Searcy Arkansas to Joplin Missouri. We were just kids in grade school huddled underneath a large tarp with our furniture.
@dianewhitehouse7244 they definitely don't want anything to do with you unless you are buying merch. I was just trying to set the boy straight. He needs to get his own house in order without relying on a youtube influencer to get his shite straight. I don't think that is vile.

Daniel, did you say a FRIEND called you about a truck??? Guess he figured that when you were done with it, he will get back a nice running, well maintained dump truck!!!! Looks like you, and the family are going to have a great deer season. I can't wait for that! Anyway, Be Safe, and God Bless!
Hey Houston, most people don't know but back before CNC processes were perfected the patterns for the molds for soft plastic lures were hand carved. I worked in the mold department for Sabine Manufacturing where millions of soft plastic lures were made. We made lures for Mister Twister, Riverside Lures, H&H, and several other brands. The man behind all those is Greg Garst, he is a genius and was the mind and hands behind actual dozens of the lures that were marketed at the time, some still today. I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy Houston doesn't know or at least know of Greg. He had numerous lure patents. After hand carving the patterns he made a single, or double cavity mold, depending on the size of the lure. We had an injection pot made from an electric pressure cooker that had a valved spigot for injecting samples. It had a regulated air supply with dryers for pressurizing the pot at up to but never more than 15psi. The dryers should keep moisture out of the air supply, which prevents flash steaming and can introduce air bubbles into the plastic. We ran that pot at 325 to 375deg F. The spigot had to be occasionally heated with a handheld propane torch to get the plastic in it melted to flowing temps. Get some welding gauntlets that will cover your arms, that plastic is extremely hot at injection temp and will cause horrible burns, if it gets on you, DON'T wipe it, it will remove the skin it touches, keep a bucket of cool water nearby to plunge your arm into in case of a burn. Seeing you make those lures beings back a lot of good memories from a long time ago. Be careful and good luck! Search Garst Lure Design, I think he still does design work and consulting.
