Played this game like 15-20 years ago this is still epic, really a good game
It's incredible how they nailed the original arcade controls for Final Fight spot-on, while also introducing new features and special moves.
The facial expressions when someone is getting beaten, best ever, even compare to games in this era.
The whole chibi and googly eyes shpeel comes from River City Ransom :)
I loved this game... it was a lot of fun, and I spent a lot of hours playing it. I'm glad the NES's fans are still going strong.

Played it at ‘94 or ‘95. Was 8 years old. Every year I try to find a time to walk it through. Every time it brings memories) daaamn Iast time it was NES with hdmi and wireless, but with original controllers and 4:3, perfect.

I used to have this on my gameboy all the way back when I was in 4th... I'm currently going to 11th in a month and this gameplay ignites the fire of nostalgia in my mind...
This is such an underrated title.I used to play alot when i was 6 years old and i still love it.

I still remember the sound track..the attacks ..action of each character..like its in my subconscious mind..it just had to hit with right trigger and everything come to me... Thank you for creating this game... I really want to play this game again..where can I play it ..
You could even talk back to bosses and feign ignorance to show that you do not respect them( especially Damnd). That was badass.

I remember when I was a kid, I always struggled to beat that boxing cage boss, so I couldn't pass level 3. 20 years later, I bumped into this game at a video game convention. Managed to beat the entire game there with Cody and Haggar.
The best Final Fight, period. Nes rocks, I'm crying too, pure nostalgia.
Just found this last week! GREAT little game! Cody and Guy have awesome and useful super special moves. Haggar's, is well slow, easy for enemies to stop and kind useless. Unless I am not using it correctly...
Haggar has the best grapple of the 3.

Capcom always had the best music in games. Mega Man, Final Fight and Street Fighter 2010 for NES all come to mind.
I remember when i woke up & immediately set up my Nintendo system & started playing this game with full excitement to reach the BOSS levels.
I remember renting this game from a video store in an Albertson's grocery store many, many years ago. It was a fun game.
It's interesting like nes in 1993 would offer again very good and playable games. Awesome
There are special moves of characters in this game. I don't know about Guy but Cody and Haggar had projectile and body slam attack respectively.

I MISS MY CHILDHOOD! I FINISHED THIS GAME A LOT OF TIMES USING CODY, GUY AND HAGGAR! Too bad the player didn't used Guy's technique its as simple as forward B once your experience reaches level 4. And at the 5th stage I know a one up secret!
I accidentally discovered that Cody can shoot fire ball in higher stage

Its not because of the stage, it is because of the experience the thick lines represents the level of your character. You can see that on the lower right corner of the screen. There are 6 thick lines, one 4 are filled up it means you are at level 4 then you can do that blue flash wave of Cody. Like guy, just press forward B if you are facing right or backward B if you are facing left.
I think the best one is from Guy. Since 1st lvl you can jump backwards and then up+hit.

The Final Fight characters look like "Muppet babies" in the NES game! I remember playing Final Fight in 1990 when my mother ordered Pizza Hut pizza.

All heroes have their power and weakness but i find all balanced. For some reason I like Guy- he's more skill and power balanced. I reach real futher with him mostly other than Cody and Haggar.
you could max exp much earlier by finishing enemies with certain moves.
Damalycus Haggar is the perfect choice for that

I read that Poison and Roxy were actually guys. They were just cross-dressers. I used to think they were women, too.
