I used to fully level up cody in the 4-5th level, i didn't know you get 6 exp after defeating them with knee strike

@@THSticky he meant the punch, the transition from when cody was about to release the wave to flying punch.

Oh... Okay. The trick is not that difficult. There are 2 steps.
First, release the wave by press Punch and press Forward Direction .
Then, quickly switch to press (or you can even hold) the Up Direction and press Punch.
This can be done when you reach the level 4 where you gain the wave releasing ability.
