Well, I presume you should stay posted. Check their website regularly or join some reliable job advertisement sites. Most important,you must be done with your NYSC and be a graduate with at least a 1st class or 2:1 degree and probably you shouldn't be more than age 26 when applying ( this differs for companies) likewise, course of study also matters. Lastly, be good with aptitudes test. Anyways, when you get to that stage, you will certainly cross the bridge. For now, goodbye and good luck!

Didn't get in, but I had a good assessment center. I think for the interview I was expecting something too technical, being I applied for an engineering role, and they said I was going to meet a manager... The managers I've worked with typically would attack you with epic tests 😂😂😂😂. But I had to meet the director of factories; that alone threw me out of the window, (strategy people are different from management people, let's be honest). I put in a good shift but as a freelancer, you know when you didn't sell. All in all apart from our horrendously expensive country, it was fun, scaled up 4 stages, almost a year of tests, it was good! I felt like I flexed my job hunting muscles. Any questions please just drop... They're nice, but you know strategy pipl, you can't really tell their wave length

I did my SIWES in BUA Sugar Refinery way back in 2013 and I was paid 20k monthly. I understand that the Corp members then were being paid 40k per month... I don't know how much they pay now, since this is over 10 years ago. I don't know if this helps.

It is possible for Chevron to pay more than Shell, sure. However, 6M per month for an entry-level role is very difficult to believe and mostly likely inaccurate but I could be wrong, who knows 😅
For entry level,it helps to have a first class or 2nd class upper degree in a relevant field, from a prestigious or well recognised university.2 to 3 years post graduation relative experience will also be an advantage.As for a 2:2 graduate you will be required to get more advance academic qualifications and certifications to back that up,but unfortunately you might get over the age limit before you get all that and they dont really accept all that affidavit and age declaration stuff that people mostly use to limit their age. Just make sure whatever you are submitting is authentic because they are very thorough with their background checks, particularly with your qualifications.But the good news is you don't have to know people in high places to secure entry into most oil and gas organisations,with the right qualifications,competence and prayers,you can land any job in oil and gas.
No. NYSC doesn’t post to banks and oil and gas companies. Except you already have the offer and you have another PPA that can give you clearance letter.

Nobody is paying you over 20 million/year as base entry-level salary at Shell. It's impossible. Senior staff with over 15 years at Shell earn around 1.5 - 3m monthly arrears inclusive. Entry-level should be below 800k for engineering roles.
