      Hey guys.. Would adding some rinseless to a bucket of Incredible Suds reduces the changes of water spots in a hard water area?

    • @Bruces-Garage

      @@RossT551 I’m only guessing, but I doubt it. I’m also not sure how the two products interact. Maybe Yvan will chime in or I can ask him.

      No it would not, because if you are using soap as your contact wash then you would rinse the soap off along with the rinseless wash

    Bruce, I get the hybrid approach, especially when the vehicle isn’t that dirty. Two thoughts that occurred to me: if I were to pre-foam, I wouldn’t use a ph neutral soap. I’d use a high alkaline soap like Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam or Touch-Less (lots of other good choices available these days). PH neutral isn’t useless, but I think a pre-wash would be greatly enhanced with a high PH alternative. Additionally, I would have foamed on the Rinseless - even if it’s not a foaming Rinseless like DIY version 1 was. You’ll get a little more cling to the paint and a more useful dwell time. Lastly, if the car was ceramic coated, I would have blown the car dry with a leaf blower to at least 90% to minimize the drying towel contact to the paint. If you needed to highlight the DIY offerings here, then what you did makes a lot of sense but I have to think we could improve the hybrid approach a bit more. Thanks!

      @@WashandShineGarage Agree. Incredible Suds is pH 9, but nothing like BH Touchless. While not necessarily required, I always use DIY products for DIY Tuber videos. I do like BH Touchless and it works extremely well. I don’t believe in foaming rinseless since it doesn’t really foam well enough to increase dwell time, but that’s just my two cents. Honestly, I’m also not a huge hybrid fan. I like the traditional foam, rinse, foam/contact wash with a traditional dry. Appreciate you watching and offering your view. Thanks so much!

    For me, if you’re gonna bring out the foam canon, at least when I do, i gotta get the pressure washer etc and all that, if I’m doing that, I’m not going rinseless.
    Either I rinseless or foam. If the foam canon is being used already, might as well keep using it before putting it away.

    Just did this today. After being sick and hospitalized, I was unable to wash my vehicles for a couple of months. The cars had a tremendous amount of bee pollen, rail dust, and other contaminants on the horizontal surfaces. Used my IK foamer to spray All Clean + Incredible Suds on the car. Let dwell for a couple of minutes and then spray incredible Suds over that. Let dwell and then rinsed off. Sprayed Rinseless wash and used my decontamination towel to remove the caked on crud. Took almost and hour to get the hood and roof done. Still have some touch up to do, but still don't have the stamina. Will do a little at a time until complete. Thanks for the video.

    I live in a farming area. Corn crops are currently being harvested. Lots of particulates blowing around. A presoak is a must with daily driven vehicles sitting outside. High temps bake bug guts on too. Sunscreen on hands.

    Hybrid Wash, that's what it is called. I do a similar washing technique with P & S Pearl and ONR. I apply the Pearl mixed 256:1 with an IK Foamer, then I spray entire car with ONR. Then dip clean MF towel into ONR mix (Please Note: Only dip clean towels). I will do this process if the car is moderately dirty. Then you can use a drying aid of your choice. Thanks for sharing!

    I like to use foam on just the lower half, though I've yet to use rw over a winter so that may change. I hate chasing drips and if i don't rinse the top half there's less water getting in all those annoying places. And save product, water, time, etc, etc.
    Thanks again

    I’d be curious how much dirt would be removed from foaming with a garden hose versus pressure washer and it is worth it to get pressure washer out for this step?

    • @Bruces-Garage
      @Bruces-Garage  5 місяців тому

      I wouldn’t get a pressure washer just for this. I think a garden hose with a decent nozzle would work just fine for rinsing. You can get a foam cannon for a garden hose and those are just ok, but it can work.

    I really like Hybrid washes myself. What I wonder is the difference in spraying a rinseless on a dry surface vs a wet surface. On a dry I can understand how the remaining dirt might be encapsulated with direct contact of the two. With water I can't help but wonder how much of the water might be blocking the remaining dirt from the rineseless spray. In other words can the rinseless make the same type of encapsulation and might it also be further diluted from it's 256:1 ratio by that water. Also what difference if any would beading water make vs water from an unprotected surface.

    • @DavidRuiz-nb9fh

      I have sprayed rinseless wash direct to my truck without prerinse. Proceeded with a contact wash with the legacy sponge. I feel like I had a better clean. Of course my truck was lightly dirty.

    • @Bruces-Garage
      @Bruces-Garage  5 місяців тому

      Good point. However, I think 90%+ of the dirt is coming off with the foam and pressure washer rinse. But I think Rinseless still does its thing on a partially wet surface. Remember you have the sponge that is sucking up some remaining dirt and the Rinseless is attracting and encapsulating it.

      Really? $2.19 in product cost (assuming no discount and buying smallest quantity of product). So you could actually save with buying gallon size and/or getting discount (use coupon BrucesGarage). Really, this is a very economical wash using 1 oz of incredible suds and 2 oz of Rinseless. Super safe and effective wash that is economical.
