I'll tell you what is refreshing about this - its really nice that a girl is interested in astronomy, in what is a very male-dominated hobby, well done and keep up the good work
Great video again, love seeing the process to capture stars and comparison of size of Ring Nebula vs Orion. These little things make a enjoyable watching experience. I vote for M13 the Globular Cluster.
Outstanding work guys! I absolutely love what you are doing. Your love for space is obvious and your video content and editing is enjoyable. Keep it up the great work! I vote for #1. Eagerly waiting for you next episode.
The Ring Nebulae was one of the very first DSO I found by luck while sweeping the sky with a new 10" dob many years ago before I had any knowledge about DS targets. It was a great moment to see something looking like a faint blue bubble hanging in black space. Thanks for your videos. They make great sleepy time fun.
your astronomy/astrophotography is great for this noob to watch. But the bit with spider, music and all, was hilarious! But more to the point, your blog is awesome, really rounds out the videos; thanks for all the good tips on it, too.
14:43 this just shows how far away the ring nebula is, if it was as close as the great orion nebula it would appear almost the same size as running man nebula
Lyra is one of my favorite constellations, and Vega one of the first stars I could identify. M57 is indeed a tiny jewelry about to be discovered. Vega remembers me again and again the "Contact" story. Nice video Antoine and Dolly, thank you!
Lyra is also one of our top constellations :) We love Vega because it is part of the Summer triangle and that's how Dalia started learning the stars. Thank you for watching :)
I find this perspective beautiful and brings me enjoyable memories. It reminds of my first views of M57 in my 6 inch newtonian in the late 70's. I had the privilege of dark skies in Eastern Oregon at the time. No bad spiders. Maybe an occasional black widow?
Well done !! You are lucky to have each other to go out there in the dark night. This can otherwise be a very lonely activity. Can't wait for the next episode! Vote for #1 Rho Ophiuchi. We don't get to see it much from up in cold Canada :-)
oh yes we stumbled upon him so he grabbed the camera... haha. No but really we were disappointed when we saw how the sun rays were wayyy too much in the way.
Hey 😁 Just subbed!..I first watched a more recent video and loved it! You guys are awesome together! I’m now working my way through your channel..can’t wait to see the story of how you progress over the years! My best, Ant....side note...Rho Ophiuchi...Ooooo⭐️💖
Well, I am thinking about what scope shall I buy...but after see your videos ( i only saw 3), perhaps i will not buy it because you show me all....congratulations great narrative sound mixing etc etc. Thank you excelent work. By the way what do you think about the Sky-watcher 80 apochromatic?
Man I love your videos I wish I could get out of light polution of pad Vegas but I have viewed some of the easyist deep sky objects with binoculars and a reflecter telescope
Congratulations for this beautiful video, all your tutorial videosare beautiful and love very much,I would like to ask you a question, kindly I could know what program you used to process and croppe this photo of m57,the nebulous ring of the Lira? Thank you very much, heavens and serene and congratulations for your videos
Awesome stuff guys. Subscribed. Is it possible to make an episode on objects observable from light poluted skies and the dslr camera + lens used to capture them. I have seen m42 which is awesome and few globular clusters.
Thanks! We have a future video planned at some point about the best objects to capture without a telescope, but one about light pollution is a great idea too!
I freaking love this series. I am buying myself an Orion 8'' astrograph after seeing these vids. I am a novice in capturing DSO's just used my camera up until now without a tracker. I have thought about what to buy and after 3 weeks of browsing, I am sold for the Orion and I can see the results very clearly here and it is cheap. Thank you so much! I am only wondering if HEQ5 can hold this telescope or should I go for the HEQ6 or this Orion mount.
Thank you! And yes we still love our Orion Astrograph, it's such a good scope. As for the mount, we suggest bit.ly/2oZJB5o this one which is similar to ours and really good for the long term :)
Nice video. The Ring nebula is one of the few Messier objects that actually looks very similar through an eye piece as it does when being imaged, minus the colour of course. I vote for M13 for your next video. Keep the videos coming!
Amazing job on both image acquisition and the video, as said by others the narration helps the video a lot. I would recommend you get a Gen 3 Night Vision to complement your imaging setup and will help you view everything you thought of live while you are taking images. Once you look through the night vision you would not want to look at the sky without it. :) :)
How many images did you stack together? And also, did you use an autoguider to get such a long exposure? I cannot get more than 30-40 seconds without guiding. I love your videos!
With my Celestron AVX mount, I've managed to get up around 180 second unguided exposures, but it does require the EQ mount to be quite accurately polar aligned. And with long exposures like that, it is more likely that something will disturb the mount and image, be it a wind gust slightly shaking it, or an airplane intersection the field of view.
FYI...Not a camel spider, its a sun spider variety. They eat other spiders and stuff. Good to have around. Creepy as hell though, ugly as they are. lol
THE NARRATION, THE BACKGROUND MUSIC, THE EXPLANATIONS, THE PHOTOGRAPHY, THE VOTING...
SO WONDERFUL!
Thanks a lot!
Just love your enthusiasm for astronomy, and your love for each other 😊. How wonderful you have this passion you can share!
I'll tell you what is refreshing about this - its really nice that a girl is interested in astronomy, in what is a very male-dominated hobby, well done and keep up the good work
Absolutely brilliant explanation of the nebula, the 3d graphics are really helpful to me
I love this series so much!
I watched this early in the morning. Man this is so awesome. So real.
Great video again, love seeing the process to capture stars and comparison of size of Ring Nebula vs Orion. These little things make a enjoyable watching experience. I vote for M13 the Globular Cluster.
Thank you, I was afraid the "editing" part would be too long and boring, I'm glad you liked it.
Outstanding work guys! I absolutely love what you are doing. Your love for space is obvious and your video content and editing is enjoyable. Keep it up the great work!
I vote for #1. Eagerly waiting for you next episode.
Thank you very much Michael, Episode 3 is in the works! :)
Just subscribed - love your information led videos. You have a unique style which lifts you above the masses :)

Thanks Ryan! M57 looks really nice in a 10" dob :)

Thanks for the camel spider info.
There be spiders big as battleships on some planet somewhere.

Thank you for theses amazing videos! I would really love to see you guys do more how-tos on capturing stars without a telescope!
Well done !! You are lucky to have each other to go out there in the dark night. This can otherwise be a very lonely activity.
Can't wait for the next episode!
Vote for #1 Rho Ophiuchi. We don't get to see it much from up in cold Canada :-)
Loved it! I vote #3 b/c Juno (hopefully it's Jupiter!)
Did JJ Abrams direct 1:20?
oh yes we stumbled upon him so he grabbed the camera... haha. No but really we were disappointed when we saw how the sun rays were wayyy too much in the way.
Guys, I love your videos.
You should get a barlow lens so you don't have to crop so much and you can keep some detail when the observed object is so small in the sky

The ring nebula is my favorite nebula
only if i can find a girl that loves astronomy as much as i do D: awesome vid
That would be awesome.
Awesome vid! My vote is #3

Hi and thank you! We use PixInsight to process all our images :)
@@GalacticHunter OK thank you very much
can you tell me which software are you using to edit the immages ? this is very cool, cary on .
We use PixInsight and have several tutorials on our website :)

@@GalacticHunter Excellent, looking forward to it.
You can also see a tiny galaxy if you go diagonaly to the right from the nebula
You guys sparked my interest in astronomy thanks core the help love to meet in person

Try stacking! You can actually reduce noise big time!
Freddy Acosta and bring details more visible

Lol just realised this video is nine months old 😝
Very professional
I love your videos.
really enjoy it!thumbs up!
Thank you!
good job guys

So, did you guys use the Canon T3i to capture this final image?
yes
How many images did you stack together? And also, did you use an autoguider to get such a long exposure? I cannot get more than 30-40 seconds without guiding. I love your videos!

You guys are making the best content when your like to dislike ration is 100/0
Haha thank you, kind of surprising that it's staying at 0 for so long
I'm a new sub. Beautiful work on all points. What imaging software do you use?
Thank you! We use Pixinsight, which you will see us use here and there after Episode 3 :)
What editing software do you use?
Hello, we use Pixinisght, you can see us explain that in depth in the 4th or 5th episode :)
I vote for M13 the Globular Cluster.
Press “R” for rest in piece Arecibo 😢
buen video, lastima que no tenga subtitulos en español :'v saludos desde Paraguay!
Wear Wellingtons next time .. and cover them in aftershave lotion
Sadly the problem with wearing boots would be the heat :( I have never been there with shorts again after this episode though!
Galactic Hunter just had a thought.. take a big cardboard box and stand inside it. Those critters are a bit frightening.
Who care about galaxy, i came to see that girl
It's not a galaxy though
Budii have some respect and enjoy the video. This channel is both fun and informative. I like the quick info before the actual hunting begins.
Your an honest person.
Wow.
FYI...Not a camel spider, its a sun spider variety. They eat other spiders and stuff. Good to have around. Creepy as hell though, ugly as they are. lol
