      @meaturama no disrespect to boxing you such an ignorant how can u fight w/o food in your stomach?. How can u do training without the food?. Fighting is not only about fist and heavy training.it's all about spirit and mental toughness. Manny had it before he stepped in the ring.

    • @StarlightAnya-_-
      @StarlightAnya-_- 2 роки тому

      @james Deer the 3 you mentioned are funny, you mean robbed like ugas did🤣
      Mp trained for a southpaw for 2 months. Then Spence pulled out and got replaced by ugas who was orthodox on short notice. Pacquiao the GAOT guy he is took the fight anyways and had to switch his training for only 1 week before the fight man.

    • @StarlightAnya-_-
      @StarlightAnya-_- 2 роки тому

      @james Deerimagine the age of 42 fight with leg cramps because the overdue training(Pacquiao train for 1 week for ugas replacement) finish all 12 rounds🤣 that's literally GOAT🔥 & Spence, he know that, thats why he back out (excuses injury) if Spence didn't back out Pacquiao have a good condition another history my friend.

    • @StarlightAnya-_-
      @StarlightAnya-_- 2 роки тому

      @james Deer you mean robbed 🤣 let's be real if Spence didn't scare & avoid The fight. there's another break history Pacquiao achievement. All of you mentioned are clearly robbed,🤣 (Bradley, horn, may & 2 draws Pacquiao fights) btw don't forget the facts all judge is came from U.S🤣 when Mayweather wins, I think it's Marquez the one who's clearly beat Pacquiao & I'm happy with that because I appreciate his dedication he took 4 fight before he beat Manny, & all Americans can't accept the facts who's no.1 goat in boxer.

      Floyd literally tried ti make the fight in 2009 but Manny kept refusing to do VADA style drug testing, finally when the fight was trending to make all that money Manny and and Bob Arem agreed to make the fight.

    Well Im sure Cotto knew that and if he had felt that he would be weak whilst making the weight, he would not have taken that fight.. But he agreed on those terms and took the fight which shows that Cotto was confident that he will have no problem making the weight and he will be strong. I think your just taking away from Manny's performance by saying what you said.
    By the way I am a Cotto fan before you tell me that I am a hater.lol.

    Manny has not only fought De La Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto. For some reason people have only been talking about his wins overs these guys. Remember, Manny also had wars with Mexico's (and world class) top warriors. Barrera (twice), Morales (three times) and Marquez (twice). At one point he was being called the Mexicutioner. I haven't seen very many fights better than these.

    I love Manny..he's so humble and just like us Filipino's loves to sing! It's amazing how grounded he still is with all the fame that surrounds him. And even though his English is rough I appreciate the fact that he answers his interview questions on his own and not with an interpreter. Yes his answers would be better received by the media, but that's the great thing about Filipino's is that they love America and want to learn to speak better English.

    Can't believe its been 4 years already. I remember watching this video here on youtube like it was yesterday. Its a shame the route manny has taken from this fight on, i really think he got robbed by bradley fight. If he didn't get robbed, i honestly think he wouldn't have fought marquez for the 4th time thus him never getting knocked out. Goes to show how bad your deal can get in this sport. Poor manny has to start all over. I think he should rematch bradley and win lose or draw, retire from there. NO need to spark another mayweather interest. Fight won't happen and if my some miracle it does, he's not in his prime anymore to beat him. It will be a one sided boring fight with mayweather winning. Manny had a better chance of beating mayweather fight after this cotto fight back in 2009. Not now.

He failed to mention how Mosley was calling Manny out after the Hatton fight and told Freddie personally that he'd come down to 142 to fight him. Of course he's not gonna wait around forever, the guy hasn't fought since January, what do you expect him to do Bob? Manny wouldn't have been ready to fight by January, but Berto is.

    I can agree with that. If the ref had stopped it in round 8 or 9 it wouldn't have been a bad stoppage. But he chose to stop the fight at 2 min left when Pacquiao wasn't as active and Cotto was doing a good job of avoiding him.I just feel like he could have continued but I'm done with that. Pac is a very good fighter,definitely one of the best.

    What a great fight that was. So much better than any heavyweight.

    My "Personal" Top 10:
    1. Sugar Ray Robinson (Because he's Sugar lol)
    2. Joe Louis (Defended his heavyweight belt for 25 consecutive times, an almost impossible feat)
    3. Manny Pacquiao (Greatest accolades, definitely unbreakable. Fought and dominated physically-longer opponents. A knockout win against Mayweather, a bigger defensive boxer, would've proven that he had no ceiling, cementing his legacy as the GOAT)
    4. Ali the great (Most skillful heavyweight. Without including his political achievement, just pure boxing, he's still the most dominant boxer of his era - over 15 years of pure dominance)
    5. Floyd Mayweather Jr. (The greatest defensive boxer, undefeated, but has questionable choices. Would've ranked higher if he fought more and allowed rematches against controversial wins, like all the other greats did. His controversial win against Pacquiao surely helped him reach this high in my list)
    6. Henry Armstrong (A champion in multiple weight classes, defended his welterweight title 19-times, fought 180 fights with over 60% knockout ratio. I just cannot put him higher, given how decorated the fighters above him are. Only if he happened to be in heavyweight and dominated it - no weight limit- he would've ranked higher)
    7. Iron Mike Tyson (Dominance, would knock anyone out in early rounds. Would've been ranked higher if he had managed his career better. But, we cannot settle for hypothetical situations, so this is the highest I can put him in)
    8. Sugar Ray Leonard (The greatest among the four-kings period, arguably one of the most competitive era in boxing history. Would've been higher if he had more fights)
    9. Roberto Duran (Longevity, superb knockout ratio and win-streak in his prime. The losses against Leonard, 2-1, settled their score in my book)
    10. Jack Dempsey (One of the greatest among the pioneers when boxing rose to prominence, but couldn't rank him higher, considering the competition and overall skill-level of his era)
    Again, this is my "personal" ranking as a boxing enthusiast.

    I don't understand what's so confusing about his comment (?); he had just enjoyed a great victory and wanted to thank God for it.

    @941brown.
    He was smothered by punches the whole fight? The proper question is, did he ever see those punches coming :)

    university of the street!! that's where Pacquiao graduated.,, when you have all odds,, face in life's struggles. dreams, goals, reputation, poverty and most of all his faith,, alll combined!!! ,, equals greatness! a matter of humility and finding your life's destiny.
    I like Miguel Cotto !! he is a terrific fighter!! i will look forward to his next fight,, I know Cotto will win.

    I enjoyed Pacqiuao vs. Cotto because it was shown that Manny can handle a bigger MAN.
    I'd like to see Pacman vs. Mayweather because it will once and for all settle the issue of whether or not Manny can handle a bigger MOUTH.
