FORBES article I reached out to VADA president Dr. Margaret Goodman and asked is she would have a few moments to speak or do a brief interview regarding the controversy surrounding the Pacquiao vs. Thurman fight regarding whether or not there were appropriate pre and post-fight drug testing involving VADA in any capacity. Goodman's response to my e-mail was, "I appreciate you contacting me, but this is something that should be discussed with the Nevada State Athletic Commission." When I followed up asking if she can you confirm that Manny Pacquiao has been enrolled in VADA testing via the WBC Clean Boxing Program prior to this fight, Goodman replied, "Yes."
WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman had this to say about Pacquiao when I asked him via text message if Pacquiao was in fact enrolled in the WBC Clean Boxing Program, which is administered by VADA. Sulaiman said, "Manny Pacquiao is a legendary champion, one of a kind, timeless. WBC Champion From flyweight to super welterweight . Has never ever whatsoever failed an Anti-Doping test. These are facts anything else is simply irrelevant."

They are like family Freddie and Manny. One of the best duo in boxing history.
For someone with Parkinsons and as long as he's lived with it up to now and still be able to function. is truly a miracle. Over time it's supposed to get worse. But not in the case of Freddie roach. After every thing is said and done. The only other trainer I hold in high regards was Emmanuel Stewart. Hands down best trainer in history of boxing.
It helped that Roach is wealthy and can afford to pay for the best treatment needed to deter or hold at bay the progression of the disease to enable him to live longer and have the best quality of life possible.

I'm glad that his mentality of "I don't need to hurt my opponent to win" has been apparently corrected. If you're not aiming to end the fight when possible, you're prolonging the chance for both fighters to accumulate more damage which is worse in the long run. Plus at his age, he needs every advantage possible to earn the respect in the ring from these younger, dangerous fighters.
Manny and Floyd should just both come back, wipe the floor of all them young welterweights, and than fight each other one last time. They both in their 40's but i truly believe they can still beat the new generation of welterweights.

Im a Manny Pac fan. But a Floyd rematch is not good at all only the financial aspect only. Let Manny go forward and do what he wants. As long as Manny has match with come forward or toe to toe opponents he will be looking very good. But if a counter puncher or defensive fighter Manny performance will be 50/50. Floyd should change his TBE to something else cause he isn't the best ever. It's the constant bargaining over fights and fighting people when it's overdue.
