I was there in 1983 when norm won his first title at buckeye lanes in North Olmstead Ohio..norm stayed with my family for 3 years while he was on tour , such an awesome guy stoll to this day he remembers some funny stories of us going to play putt putt and go cart racing 🏁
Remember 1983 when there were bowlers? Me too. Not rev machines who bitch about everything. AJ acts like there is a conspiracy, but that horrible Brooklyn shit shot strike was ok though.
Weren’t Pete Weber, Marshall Holman and Mark Roth on the tour then? They were the rev monsters to the tour in their era and I distinctly remember Holman being fined for kicking out a foul light. There are many more examples of score tables being smashed and the like. They just didn’t have microphones on the lanes for them. As far as the athleticism of bowling, yes it has changed. Guys that could’ve played college football are bowling as their primary sport. Increased athleticism leads to higher scoring and an overall better game. Or are you just complaining because the sport is changing? Do you also dislike the forward pass?
@@davidguzowski8454 ya but it’s how to keep alleys alive and with decent lane care. I do feel they have a good balance with casual bowlers and league. I try to bowl at ma and pa places as much as I can but I can only take poles and ball returns being in my way for so long
Sterling Bowl in Sugar Creek is a dinosaur from the 40’s or 50’s. The neighborhood is like a demilitarized zone. I grew up two miles from that place. I went once for a league meeting in august of 2022. Once. They still allow smoking. The alley is old and in poor condition.
F the USB C and their Banning of those six bowling balls that week utter stupidity but usb-c needs to be dismantled and restarted with a new title and new people
I really think they should make a one hand vs one hand and two hand bowlers vs two handers. You can get so much more revolutions and speed bowling two handed vs one hand.
The last 4 shots that Brad threw was the worst 4 shots i´ve ever seen by Brad Miller, he almost looked like he was trying to lose that match against AJ Johnson. That´s why he´s in a slump and will never win a PBA title-
It looks so uncoordinated, unbalanced and hard to be consistent to do two handed all bent over and leaning to one side. I don't like it but I cannot bowl as well as those who are good at it
@@RPGMasterShadow How do you figure? As far as I am aware, nobody has published actual rev rates. Specto is so unreliable for rev rate its a joke, so unless you've worked with them and specifically measure their rev rates, I doubt you have any clue what either bowler's actual rev rate is. Without using tape and measuring directly, you can only make a guess at best.
@@CriticalJ its been proven that specto is very unreliable, and can calculate rev rates from several variables. It does not count the revolutions strictly. From the eye test, those two rev rates are VERY comparable. Two handing doesnt change physics. Everything in bowling boils down to the number.
13:55 has me weak 😂😂
47:15 Sounds just like the "PERFECT" off Street Fighter II.
Lmao! I say that when I throw a nice strike in league!
THANK YOU, felt like I was avoiding news for so long for this

I bowl at buckeye and it’s sad how no one knows the history of that alley
Sad what buckeye has become

That first match was a real choke artist special
U gotta make it there before u talk smack

46:30 did someone in the audience go "YES!" when brad missed the conversion?
Someone did. Jerk
Yeah. Then Simmon made a weird face towards the audience. Was really hoping this was brads first title. Pretty messed up dude yelled after he shot.
F the USB C and their Banning of those six bowling balls that week utter stupidity but usb-c needs to be dismantled and restarted with a new title and new people
1:15 “sugar cweek” 😂
I thought I was the only one that heard that. I can't believe nobody reacted to that lol
By far, the best thing about Pro Bowling these dayss is Kim Pressler, easily. 🙂❤
caught in 4k
Brad miller is the Pba choker! Dude used two hands to choke on Simonsen
"they can't stop us"
hmmmm, wonder who that remark was referring to ;)
Was that a cheer in the crowd at about 46.25 when Brad failed to get the spare?

if you get it where you need to then its fair. Be better
Huge thanks striketrain!!!
Norm the man
13:54. another 10 trip moan lol
Kinda boring gone are the heater rivalries p b a dun gone rainbow 🌈
2023 PBA/USBC Masters is coming to Detroit MI 🎳
Brad looked at AJ in disbelief
That was wild
nerves got to you again. you just needed more revs and more speed. keep putting yourself in that situation you will win. keep your head up brad.
anyone know the name of the spare ball that simonsen uses?
Strikeout breast cancer by storm, goodluck finding one without paying an absurd price. I got mine from Canada.
Talent and knowledge,or strike in a box whitch one do I want to watch ,oh I know the p b a 50 where the real bowlers have gone😡
Simonson's remarks at the end where he says they can't stop us that definitely was directed toward the USB C
Don't quite understand the animosity it's a great connector.
Dave Ryan shouldn’t have talked about this being Norm Duke’s last frame on TV. What a slug.
Randy said Simo is a big toolbox....correct sir
can the bowlers see the red "oil" also, or is it only for us spectators?
Oh they see it and it goes into their bowling ball big time.
Brad Miller is starting to choke more than Chris Barnes.
If simonsen wins playoffs he will win poy, maybe
IQ Tour doesn’t have that kind of hook.
It does when you stay behind and depending on lane conditions
Sugar Queek?
Brad Miller is only 31
hey yo

I think he has room to up his mental and physical game and win a title.
Sad how much of a choke artist brad is. I always root for him, but end up furious by the end for never being able to just finish it out.
I hate two handed bowling

must be bowlings minor league equivalent
Simo was trash, 2 handing cuts through the oil easier, sad for Brad and Norm.
noticed how you ignored AJ who has a very comparable rev rate to Simo. i think you just might be rev challenged
@@chugalingus4642 I think you don't know shit about rev, 'cause AJ has a rev rate barely over 500. Simo is significantly higher lol

bro i agree 2 handed no fun at all!!!!!
Bad shot, regardless of the rack.
No lane knowledge
2handers ruined the game
AJ Johnson is an arrogant tool
USBC is a joke!
It's good that PBR supports the PBA, however the beer is garbage. 🎳
