- Here is Part 3 of the Galileo 7 Build, including the figures.
The lighting is my own and powered by a single 9 Volt Battery.
Colors both interior and exterior come via Info from Gary Kerr
All paints used throughout is Tamiya mixed and Airbrushed. The video at the end is of the model in a brief SPFX sequence.
Thanks! - Навчання та стиль
I made this model twice! One with and one without the interior! Chose to but in headlights ans RBG leds in the nacelles. And Blue leds for the read engines! Came out looking very dynamic!
Sounds great!
To the Boring Builder, -Your modeling and skills are the best ! Stay dull ! :) :D
Thank you very much!
Thanks for posting this. It was a great help.
Glad it helped!
Great build, Mark! I still think you should rig a propane torch in the back for the fuel jettison! 😜 Thanks for including the swatch info!
That would be cool!
Nice work. Thanks for posting the color chips, I saved them as screen shots. Just started priming the parts for my own build. I’ll use your build for reference. I go by trekriffic BTW.
Thanks! And you bet! Glad to help out! Have fun with your build! And yes, I know your name from the boards! Awesome!
You're many things Mark but a boring modeler ain't one of them. You do what you want to and get it done how you like it to be, that's called personal choice. That level of satisfaction unquestionably works for you so carry on my friend. When building for yourself, anything else is irellevant 🙂🖖 All the best, ILM
Sincere and many thanks my friend!!!!
Looks absolutely Incredible!! You take "detail" to a whole new level!!
Wow, thank you!
I couldn't love this more. Stunning work, and you're far from a boring builder. I appreciate sticking with canon.
Wow, thank you!
This looks amazing. I just bought the kit featuring interior parts and separate figures to scale so i will light it but I might do a diorama with away team as if they have just landed. Great work.😮
Have fun!
Thank you for sharing this fantastic build. As with all of your work this is spot on to filming quality. Your attention to details is meticulous and inspiring.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the very kind words!
That is so cool.
Thanks!
Great job. The Galileo looks amazing.
Many Thanks!
AWESOME.
Thank you! Cheers!
awesome !
Thanks!!
Sensacional, parabéns! Grandes séries que marcaram época!
You just light up your kits with the essential lighting apparatus.A good philosophy in my opinion.
Always nice to hear from Like minded modelers!
Great job mark from a fellow AAA hobby consumer in S Jersey. How and where did you mount the door hatch magnets?
Two steel pins are on the top inside cavity of the lower door. You need to catch build the panel that goes there that's the same color as the lower half of the interior wall. I drilled a small hole on the right inside part the seats the lower portion of the door. Then epoxied it in place! Be careful, don't drill in too deep! And make sure the magnet is facing the correct way.

Outstanding work What Brand of paint and Brushes you use
Thanks! Tamiya, Vallejo ,Model Master all through an Iwata Double action air brush.
WHY are the nacelles not lit?
BECAUSE they never were in the series. As I explained in the video.
