Imagine being able to see them live Nd then complain hardcore bc they chose to do a cover and do a little jam..afterall it is THIER band, THIER show.. what controlling, spoiled fans..
This is an absolute joke. At MSG someone requested they play Obvious Bicycle and they did the same thing and ruined the song with son of a preacher man. She didn't ask for obvious bicycle with a cover she asked for obvious bicycle Rostam's version. They miss Rostam so much it's insane.
Dre Orozco It's not pleasing live. You hear the whole song and then all you want to hear is the melancholic adorable piano outtro by Rostam and it just never comes, worse yet the whole song is ruined by this jam cover. Imagine going to see Radiohead and instead of going into "for a minute there I lost myself" they cut into a dumb cover that no one wants to hear. It's so deflating.
Dre Orozco At MSG, this was taken as a fan request (with no cover) and they played the cover and after Ezra had the nerve to say "Maybe a shorter song." That pissed me off. He took up the time of two vampire weekend songs with a cover to extend one song. I've been waiting forever to see these guys live and they can't even play their good music from the original trilogy the way it is off the album.
rebeccatemchin you're joking..... No way.... That's even more infuriating. Why!?!? I just don't understand going to a concert to see a band and requesting them to do their song but with a cover thrown in. Not to mention the jams are so drawn out and boring, and they were never a jam band. With Rostam their lives shows has focus and direction and they owned their own music. The only cover they should ever play is Exit Music (For a Film) because they recorded it.
Jampire Weekend
I was there and this moment was transcendent to say the least. Amazing show, thanks for uploading!
Awesome transition
Super cool!

Ermosos lindos cute😍🥰🥰😍❤️💋💋💋💋💋💋💃💃💃💃👄👄
Why dont you let them decide what song they play? Hey how about you shut up and listen kinda like the song says. What's with people?
sfuture08 unless they’re requesting pizza party then I’m all for that suggestion
Someone knows if the additional lyrics that appears in the last minutes came from another song?

KevsShwaShwa I respect where you’re coming from but oh man the 5:30 transition build up completely takes this cover to the next level

not to argue with you, but on reddit, the girl who requested it said she did request it bc of the son of a preacher man jam at the end...
