If the S4 was a DSG, things would have went differently .... however, c63 still the champ and my guilty pleasure
Yeah I think the manual gearbox let's the s4 down vs dual clutch, gear changes were slow
This is my s4. I have clutch issues in the video where you have to granny shift to go into the next gear or else it will slip. Also when you shift high Rpm the pedal would fall on me and lock me out of next gear. Tried changing master and slave and it didn’t resolve it. Getting another clutch put in to see if that will fix the issue. That is why my gear changes are slow. I’ve beat every dsg car I’ve ran so far. C63 are so much fun no doubt. But no match for the s4 now 😈

@@hakamsingh2154 it’s a stock p31. It rips yeah but you’re comparing a stock car that has a N/A 6.2 V8 auto to a supercharged 3.0 v6 thats manual and I’m granny shifting cuz of my clutch. I work a stage 1 E63 v8 biturbo now no issue and a V10 R8 6spd

that tuned 6speed S4 is more impressive! if he ported his SC add add another 25-30hp..on E40 it would be a beast
Nice runs.
Couple of things though
--B8/B8.5 S4s are significantly slower when its hot out. I know all cars are slower, but B8/B8.5 S4s are especially slow in the heat.
--First run is the only good run you can get out of them without a 10min cooldown minimum between runs (for most S4s anyway). They heat soak after first run and become really slow.
Both great cars and a good match up!
It’s not like the ambient conditions are hot, it’s like 16-18 degrees Celsius.
So the "Heat "did not affect the C63?
@master olu is right the s4s suffer greatly from heat after first pull, the amg just makes more power on every pull lol. When we dynod it the highest hp was on the 3rd pull lol

Good runs though, I've a soft spot for the C63's. Seen a ported blower S4 DSG put a couple of car lengths on a Cat delete + E85 tuned C63. Impressive what your car is capable of being NA!
I had clutch issues with pedal dropping down on me in between shifts. Can’t bang gears in these cars they don’t like it. Cars FBO now ported blower ultracharged it’s much faster than it was in this video which was 4 months ago

Ive seen a couple people bang gears in them with no weird issues ect. I would definitely look into a NLF option for your S4.
And I'm jealous! I bet your car moves out man. I own a B8 S4 myself.. Only 034 stage 1 + TCU tune. Car has ran a best of a 11.7 @118 on 93 only. Can't wait for dual pulley. 🔥😭
Yea they definitely skimped on these 6sp damn VW. Would love to see some content of one with a stage 2-3 clutch an better single mass flywheel… basically beefier trans & clutch assembly this 6sp is rubbery at times!

I have a 2014 S4, and the amount of money I need to throw at it just to lose to a stock (engine) c63, makes me want to sell it and get a c63 😅.

Bs. I paid 18k for my 2013 b8.5, 5k mods making 400whp. Same year c63 is around 50k right now. So you'd pay 20k more to be slightly faster?
@@deonwilliams434 yes, I would pay 20k more for a car that is faster stock than an S4 that has 5k in mods and still isn't able to keep up. Idc what you do, heat-x, ported blower and TB, dual pulley, divorced coolant system, meth, doesn't matter. The Benz is faster, regardless of how much money you put into your S4....stock. Now imagine if you put money into a 50k Benz that's already faster than your FBO S4....busses.

Thers not much done. 2nd cat delete replaced with a H pipe 0.75 inch bridge and res delete, front lip, rear diffuser and H&R coils. And some 507 reps

I have a video of this s4 coming back fully done with ultracharger fbo. It's really fast. I also ran a white dsg s4 that was dual pulley in the video on my channel with the orange gallardo from this summer.

Yea, he wasn't ultracharged. He is now though its way faster now. This one on a temporary b8 blower
Just stage 2 no ported blower no UC. Full weight with subs and never racing with any passenger again it makes a huge difference.

It's like 23 on highway. Averages 16 with normal driving in city and highway and when you're ripping in it all the time it's like 13mpg

This doesn't add up especially since its a duel pulley car, guessing its a combo of it being a manual and i would bet its not running what the owner claims as it should of walked this
