I do not have any kids yet. But if my kids were terrified of an old house and seeing or hearing evil things and symbols. I for one would be moving out! Wow! The parents never seem to believe their kids seeing frightening things in these stories. Plus, glad their daughter was not paralyzed at end of story. And how many of us were crossing our fingers that the evil spirits did not follow this family from home to home! Because sometimes evil spirits do! Maybe the haunted house should be demolished or something. Thanks for the upload.

Another thing is the husbands not believing their wives. Half the time if you look at their names in the show you'll see they are divorced XD
No one ever even told me about anything paranormal when I was a small child, but I feel like I always had a sense of terror growing up, like everything scared me and I don't know why. So pretty much, all my fears were ignored. Never really saw anything, that I can remember, but I always felt things. But we moved often, at least twice a year. And sometimes it was in old homes, as I grew up in an old maritime township.

Demolishing the house won't stop future hauntings if the land is haunted unfortunately.
I’m sorry but the minute you buy a very old house it’s got a lot of history and to see satanic signs is a red flag already. Don’t you just hate it when the kids are scared and telling the parents but they don’t believe them!

You have to call on Jesus for help - ask for him inwardly, not outwardly - because the devil is banned from knowing that you're asking God for help, but only when you do it inwardly. Between God & yourself. IDKY.
Tell me about it. I began to be plagued by evil spirits at the age of 8. It’s never completely stopped, but being almost 50 now, they no longer scare me and always flee when I command them to in Jesus’ name or quote the Lord’s Prayer. They don’t come around near as often anymore but I’m constantly surrounded by loved ones who’ve passed on. Maybe they are some sort of protection, I’m not sure.

Long time since I had watched this episode. I wish I could have all the series. I think I've watched them all, but I don't mind watching them again. I love this program. I miss paranormal witness as well. One of my favorite shows too.

This was my first ever episode that made me love this tv show when it aired. 21:27 I have always feared turning off tv monitors or computer monitors cause I always thought someone or something might be seen behind me. Fun fact: If your house is haunted playing Ouija will only make it worse.

Okay if the county tax assessor, the realtors, the property manager and previous owners, and appraisers will not show up to show the home and acknowledge it has history but vague about the house history, then those are red flags and huge not interested in seeing the house and property much less buying no matter how financially available and affordable it is. Nope! All of what I said was the situation when they wanted to see the house and property. I would have asked why they didn’t want to step on the property and go inside the house and show them around. As soon as they gave vague inconsistencies as answers or something, I would not hesitate to ask if the place is haunted. If they hesitate to answer or say anything other than no it is not or no such thing and still refuse to go in with you; it’s a no see and no sale situation.
How smart, they let the little boy sleep in the room where the evil symbol was😡😡😡

This one and the one with the girl in her apartment, the one with Lorain Warren are my favorite.
At 60 I've learned that no matter how big and bad you think you are there are some things out there that you should never subject your Family, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN to!!! Peace and safety is EVERYTHING ❤

So after being haunted until they could not stay in that house, they still had the audacity to allow another family to buy the same haunted house. For what?

To be fair, according to the story the buyers were made aware of it and even liked the idea of living in a haunted house. They did encounter the ghost of the little boy, but not Seth or that other demon.

If I saw that pentagram painted on boards that are nailed up like that, I'm assuming it's holding something back.
I'd leave it there and board it up completely then hang a cross on that wall.

My fascination with ghosts came from reading this book in the 1990's at the library going into haunting's all around the world with text and photos and would tell the tale of each haunting then that tv show Beyond Belief Fact or Fiction made me even more curious about the paranormal. In the book i first read had a story of a woman who died on my birthday in England and jumped off her balcony and was said to appear every November the 11th and 12th as you hear her screams and a thud and it was said to repeat the event over and over.
That's called a residual haunting.

Always look into the history into the house before you buy
Is it just me, or do you think this is overly dramatized? ... Why try to expell a demon with sage instead of an exorcism? What do they expect? That the demon or any spirit never comes back again?
Amateurs! Totally ungodly and playing with an ouija board. Ridiculous and unholy. Shows like this need a disclaimer. They are promoting evil. Ouija boards are spiritually dangerous.
Sage or other herb smudging/recaning/saining can be a tool to clear negative energy, as it's typically used in purification rituals, particularly in tandem with a salt circle (though I would've personally found it better to seal the portal itself with salt, rather than using it to create a circle around the house...that can sometimes backfire and bind things _in,_ as they can't cross the barrier). Sage smudging is a relatively common ritual among a variety of First Nation tribes, and there's other rituals done by various cultures involving smoke as a means of clearing out negative energy...among other things, because smoke can get into all the small nooks and crannies. Much more effective at getting to as much space as possible than say, sprinkling holy water. Heck, some Christian denominations still burn frankincense and myrrh.
Also, regarding exorcism, not all denominations of Christianity practice the Rite of Exorcism, and not all priests/ministers/etc. are trained in it. It's probably quicker in the long run to find someone who can do a generic cleansing ritual than to find a church that has someone on hand who is able and willing to conduct the rite. And if done well, any ritual can seal off an entity's gateway...the problem is that they didn't focus on eliminating the portal, but rather on essentially a "white light protection" spell, centered around protecting the home and family.
Word of advice, always have your house blessed cleased before you move in...........

I remember watching a TV show (I think it was one of those house renovating ones) and the one old house they went into their young child had said they had a bad feeling about the house and didn't like it. Thank God they didn't buy that house. I wonder had the couple brought one of their children into the house while looking around would they have sensed something unusual?

It always stresses me out thinking about what you would do in that situation. I would have to sell the house but I would never be able to live with myself if I didn't declare it had a demon!! I think I'd have an exorcism done to close the portal and then try and advertise it to the horror world and see if somebody wanted to risk buying it. But I couldn't let an unsuspecting family move in, I just couldn't live with myself

It appears that a ritual had been performed and a protective seal was placed over the portal. You need to find out what ritual was performed and perform a circle closing ritual and then close the portal. In demonology demons have and are Legion. A shaman should be a part of this and bless the land. This could be a portal to hell.

There is a difference between a house that is haunted and one that is possessed. A haunted house would refer to restless spirits of souls passed on who have not moved on for some reason. A possessed house is demonic, which are not souls but evil spirits of the fallen angels (demons). Never consult a ouija board, that only makes things worse by opening up portals for more to enter and while you may think you have control with a ouija board, you don’t and spirits lie. Even the ghost of the young boy is likely a demon, they can take many forms to suit their purposes.
There are never “ghost children” it’s always demons.
When the real thing grabs ahold to a witch board there will be no doubt in your mind what so ever that it is the real thing, or go on believing it isn't real, anything but do not ever use one. If you are curious, be curious about something else.
The pentagram is a huge red flag.
Gotta be very careful when buying old properties where multiple generations lived and died in that same space. You better know everything that went on inside that property. But yeah, on your first visit you see an altar with an inverted pentagram (even a non inverted one), that's just commom sense to go away. You have to be very materialistic and oblivious to the spiritual to just brush that aside.
Those aren't ghosts, those are demons btw, they assume forms of past traumas lived on that space when they infest a house to masquerade themselves and gain attention/fear and get you in a relationship with them.

There is nothing wrong with dark spirits I have been working with one for years . But as a point of interest .whenever I try to put a film up on UA-cam about the craft's the spirit has given me UA-cam pulls the films saying they break community guidelines . So much for that .

As an Arkansan, this episode makes me cringe because all the place names are fictional, including the "Ozark" River Valley which is actually the Arkansas River Valley 🙄

@@anakelly76512 The problem is, everything in this episode was faf. They've had several other episodes from Arkansas (Lowell, Wynne, Magnolia) where they at least used actual place names. But come on, everything in this episode was fake, including the "historical" background. And the two "towns" are just the names of streets-- one in Little Rock, and one in Vancouver, Canada. Really, this episode is super cringe.
What about the episode titled, 'Nightmare Upstairs' which documents the story of a haunting in the town of Wynne? The targets also happened to be a family of five, but with older, adolescent children.
