That talk about how Dan found Dinger City and the Mario Superstar Baseball Discord community is such a heartwarming thing to reflect on. Glad to know the story behind one of the channel's best commentators and players.
I started watching during the playoffs last season after discovering it through a UA-cam video about the competitive scene, and I've been hooked ever since!
Bit of a new viewer here. Kinda shocked Superstar Baseball had such a community. Even checked out some highlights and can see past seasons even were loads of fun.
Some great commentary on this one. Sometimes I think things get a little too off track. I like hearing attention on the game, and talking about the meta/strategies, and calling plays. It’s like a real baseball game! The off-topic stuff here just felt better than usual, a bit more chill, although serious, and focus was still kept on the game. Definitely need these two on the comms more often!
Such a wholesome conversation in the middle of the game, thanks for sharing papa and Colin, im glad you decided to procrastinate that night Dennis lol, and Colin I always enjoy your uncomfy questions, couldnt imagine DC without you guys We also learned Andrew is lethal with the birdo egg lol
I started watching many a moons ago. Was the 2nd or 3rd classic I believe. Always loved hitting dingers w toad so when I saw Andrew’s toad brigade I was sold and became a city hall fan for life. Good luck to him I can’t wait to see how he lets us down, it will be glorious.
These "uncomfy questions" really need their own videos. Just the growth that happens in the conversations make me happy to be a part of this stuff. As a peds heme/onc nurse, never underestimate empathy or patience in medicine. You guys are gonna make big waves
If Colin asked me that uncomfy question commentary would've turned into a therapy session

Wouldn't it be funny if the commentary got weirdly wholesome and introspective in the middle of the game? 🤔
So early that Dennis wasn’t even born yet
Jk not possible

Getting on comms with the papa is such a special treat
There are two teams capable of making a 7-0 lead stressful: The Diamondbacks and whichever team Andrew is playing
