And if you don't beat Shaft, the game just ends. And Alucard is like, "Yo, I'm so sad.", and the game is over. And you got no idea you did anything wrong unless you found at least one of the two rings!

the gloom ball actually makes tons of sense for smooky prog because in pikmin 4 it actually does do that and it kills any pikmin it touches
