In Mark chapter 11 is the example of where Jesus spoke to the fig tree. There are some tremendous lessons in this and it's about how to receive from God in prayer.
This is one of Jesus' last appearances in Jerusalem and He went into the temple and came back. The following day when they were come from Bethany. Jesus was hungry and seen a fig tree afar off having leaves. He came happily thought that he might find anything there on and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves. For the time of figs was not yet and Jesus "answered" and said unto it, “No man eat fruit of the hereafter forever”. And his disciples heard it. He got mad at this fig tree and cursed it and commanded it to die. Basically he said no man eat fruit of the hereafter forever and some people don't understand this. God created those fig trees and made them to produce figs before or at the same time leaves came on. And this fig tree was abnormal, this fig tree was violating his commands. In other words this fig tree was a hypocrite. It professed something that it didn't have. This fig tree was supposed to have
something but it didn’t. It was abnormal, it was against nature and Jesus didn't like it and so He
cursed it and commanded no man to ever eat fruit from that fig tree again. There is a right use of anger.
