    Another couple things:
    1. It's often very helpful to make another squad of workers to keep in the queen's chamber to help with placing eggs in nursery tiles, especially if fights get costly. While it does mean you need to spend food to construct worker tiles, you can leave them at level one, and they could make all the difference in battle, especially when inside the nest.
    2. To capitalize on the increased number of workers, it's recommended to build chambers with your ant fighters very close to the queen, right beside her would do well. This is because workers must first pick up an egg laid by the queen, and then place it on the nursery tile. Having your fighter nurseries right beside the queen can allow even a small amount of workers to rapidly amass a large army.
    3. In most levels, don't bother with the speed tiles unless you have a surplus of food and know you won't be needing them all. From my experiences, speed tiles don't change enough to make them worthwhile. Since most fighters cost around 5 food to hatch, spending the food on multiple speed tiles could mean you can end up running out of food right before victory.
    4. Keep a large food storage chamber right beside the nest entrance, but not in the path that leads outside. This helps allow foraging ants outside to rapidly drop their larders without having to run through half the nest twice to drop off a piece of food.
    5. Especially when digging tunnels inside the nest, turn the nest group's fighting and food gathering off (I usually leave them off after producing my first fighters). This will prevent workers from running through a dangerous cavern trying to pick up food. It will also allow them to focus completely on hatching new troops, which could be key in a nest fight. Also, because food gathering and fighting is off, make sure not to place fighters in the nest group, and instead use a deactivated pheromone marker (with fighting on) to leave them at the queen.

I found that the enemy mounting is useful in disabling it for any worker groups that you have active. Mounting gives a damage buff and there's limited mounting space, and you dont want a damage buff to go to weak workers.

Most of the levels are designed as efficiency puzzles. It is visible mostly on the first level. All the creatures you need to eliminate are littered around the map in a way that you can pick between progressively harder batches, which enables you to win even in the hardest difficulty. It is not always about enemy groups, in some maps it shows itself as good timings. You'll get the point.

Yes, very true. Most scenario-based challenges I've played in comparable games boiled down to something like this though imho. I'd say it's well made if you don't notice it at the first glance.

Your information seems to be out of date and lacking. There are hot keys for the overlays, Alt, etc and fire ants can use no food to hatch a continuous stream of ants for free also worker ants can be upgraded to be Simple fighters

Yeah, there's a ton of things to add and I'm very sorry for not finding the overlay hotkeys. I got used to having them perma toggled on and never looked for a hotkey.
The rest of the things you mention fall for me personally way beyond "Beginners Tips". I try to keep things simple and easily usable on videos like these.
