Yeah cool vids thanks for putting them together! But please tell me I have to know: Are you American trying to do a British accent or British trying to do an American accent? I just can't tell!
Good question @Jerry, we are big fans of in60seconds, clever concepts, eye-catching graphics and intricate animations. I can't speak to their pricing specificially, but for this type of work you'll need a large budget to attract artists at the top of their game. So I'd imagine illustration & animation alone probably cost ~$3-5k/min. You'll also need to budget for concept, script, voiceover, music score... so this quickly takes you in $15-20k territory for a 2 min explainer video of that caliber. If you don't have the budget of a big brand, you can save by keeping the animation and the illustrations simpler. Instead of having the illustrator create tons of new graphics, have them do a few slates. Instead of animating the whole screen, animate just a portion. Also you can take on more of the director's responsibilities if you are willing to experiment or know what you are doing. For example our creative director Libby made this animation on a $3.5k budget - roughly $1.5k for the illustrator, $2k for the animation. ua-cam.com/video/vGpQlgdEi6I/v-deo.html , you can read about how she went about it here: www.videopixie.com/how-we-made-the-san-frandingo-animation
lol, I would make these videos for 75% of the price you estimated in this video, maybe less :) You don't need to hire a whole team, If you have a guy, who can create the whole video by himself.
Sorry but your "number one" explainer video looks horrible. They forgot to hire a color corrector.... Dark, gray, desaturated ... Begs for a curves filter. Fix that brightness, add more color... Like I'm watching an old TV set.
her eyes look like anime characters
Yeah. Her voice is a bit irritating in my opinion, but she's quite beautiful.
Yes totally agree
great video, great content!
Very well explain
Vibz.co.uk agree all the way
Libby, great video. You made an explainer video that pitched your company, while subtly telling people HOW to make a video.
