Thanks you so much for that beautiful under water photography! reminds me of fishing the amazing upper Yakima river near Cle-Elum, fly-fishing with my father. Thanks again!!!
Just for future people who want too fish up there or get where he is. (Written 4/31/21) The road has since then been washed out for a few years now however it recently caught on fire so their is gravel too crossover however i dont expect the gravel too last long and is not passable with any regular car,(most) trucks/suvs can pass through it no problem. It is no longer stocked anywhere up there too my knowledge im sure there is fish but not many. As for where he fished he was fishin on the 3rd bridge on the left below the campground which isnt reachable unless you get pass the washout or crossover from sunset falls or come over from the carson road. FYI the sunset to canyon creek road is near collapse in many spots as well so not passable in a regular car but most pickups/suvs will have no issue. Update:1/26/22 They patched the wash out however due too the extreme rain we got in early January the road above the main road washed out (They fixed it the higher road AND it washed out AGAIN) so now their is trees, dirt, sand, mud across the road and as of 1/26/21 they were doin road work too clear the road and install new colverts on the low road. I dont know when it will be done but im assumin not too long from now,Maybe in a month (2/26/21) or maybe not, not sure at all.
@@alexvega1046 Its name is "Canyon Creek" but you will NOT find ANY info under that name only videos like these. Its up by Chelatchie Prairie Store by i believe Yale Lake.
I do have to admit this. This Creek or stream looks much better than ours where we fish at in our area how jealous am I laughing out loud. Also I got to say this is a beautiful underwater shot as well.
Middle Earth Tenkara, I've seen it before and it looks like it would be super fun. I have done some hand line fishing in this area and it was really challenging as most of the fish can see you before you even get to the edge of the water.
You know what's funny, sometimes I have to wear camo and crawl up to the banks to fish. The fly fisherman look at me like I'm crazy - I probably am a little lol.
Yes west side of the 54. Don't know if it's accessible anymore from the west side. Been years since I've been back up there. Seems like every time I try there's landslides that don't get cleared out.
@@pacificnorthwestadventures799 true. They suppose to fix the landslide at the junction of road to go up to Siouxon but got put off due to Covid. Plus wildfire was just up there. So have to come in via wind River Highway. Recall if it's past the canyon creek campground or before? That got decommissioned as well.
No, Canyon Creek runs into the North Fork of the Lewis River. This looks to be at the twin bridges below the campground. Spent many a day fishing this beautiful stream.
The Coleman Films, most of the fish that are in the film are a Triploid trout species that get planted by Washington fish and wildlife for enrichment. The main road to that spot has been washed out for over a year and even know it is a main forestry road no repairs have been attempted. So it looks like for the near future they will no longer be planting fish at this creek. Major bummer because this creek was such a nice place to get away and fish.
Pacific Northwest Adventures That is very unfortunate. Looks like a super pretty place. I live in Vancouver and i go up that direction to fish all the time.
@@heshewombow2000 Like he said the roads been washed away for a few years now. The road washed away because the drain got clogged and was never attended too but the road held back an easy 25+ feet of water and was near touchin the road. Still no fix yet however the recent burn up there they did put gravel in so you can travel it now but i dont expect the gravel too be there much longer due to people bein dumb or rippin it up and destroyin it for everybody else
Near yacholt Washington. Don't know if this area is accessible by road anymore it washed out years ago and they nearly never maintain the roads up there
Amado, yes this is in Washington State. Unfortunately there has been a few washout's on the road to this spot and for the time being they are no longer releasing fish in that part of the creek.

Robert Pitts, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I hope to do some more fishing out in that area soon and get some better footage.
Awesome video talk about gorgeous water!
That's a beautiful creek, I wish we had creeks like that in northern washington state.

That water is crazy crystal clear! Have you ever tried to fish that kind of water with a Tenkara rod? It's such a blast!

I see your comments every where about Tenkara rods. Are they fairly easy to use?
Tenkara = cane pole
@@bigbodyalan7054 Tenkara rod, cane pole, stick with string...doesn't matter, it's still really fun. 😁
Damn, I’m jealous as fuck. As an aquarist I wouldn’t fish them I would just want to take pictures and record them.
this is a beautiful river
Never saw water so clear...
Reminds me of a fishing game i use to play. Reel fishing.
Beautiful place ! I bet they would hit a mini marshmallow . Wash D C
It's in Washington state. They hit the garlic power bait almost immediately and do well with a black rooster tail
Approx what area of Canyon Creek is this? West end of 54?

Chelatchie Prairie north of Yacholt. their is some decent fishing their right now but the fish are pretty spread out.
What clear water, wow. Bait or lure and what kind?
Alan S. He's fly fishing so that would be a tiny lure that looks like a bug that they would naturally feed on
A black rooster tail
