I think your music is fantastic, and I admire how you share your knowledge in detail. It is inspiring:)
Thank you!
Your voice is so raw yet so calming
Thanks for the nice ideas! Appreciate the chill vibe.
Really glad that I stumbled upon here and really grateful to able to learn your process of creating. As well as to hear the finished piece! I’m super excited to learn more from you!
Thanks for the tips! I plan on using every single one that I didn’t know of already, while still applying my own artistic style:)
I am a movement artist and I feel this video has opened a new door for me to exploring and creating music that completely alines with my 360 vision . Probably it will take me long time but I'll do my researching. I have subscribed. Please keep sharing.
Thanks.

nice!!!
wow you're so smiley it's beatiful.
experimental music is not widely publicly illuminated, it's mostly underground and tet-a-tet.
thanks for sharing
Great! The synth reminds me an old ambient track of Alec Empire (Generation Starwars).
"Jez" is such a simple yet experimental name.
Our music is decently similar, but I do think yours is better.
wow i'm new here.
i'm gonna make songs like this with garageband
teach us!!!
subbed!!
Not easy but you can really do anything if you try
Pretty nice and interesting to see how other creators build their ambient things 👌😊
Is this a kind of Wapour wave or something like death dream genre
what gear do you use to record on tapes/get them into your daw etc. ?
Usually I will record the tapes on a handheld recorder and have a separate tape machine for playback. I play them directly into my audio interface or through a mixer first.
very Heinbach
We love Hainbach!
Do you have more videos like this? Or more beginner friendly vids? The titles of your new vids are kinda confusing to me
Some of my newer videos are about a specific piece of gear, so they probably aren't as useful to someone just starting out/who doesn't have that device. Are there any topics you'd like to see covered? Thanks for watching!
What keyboard is that (and is that just a effect on it or did you open a sample)
It's a Korg Poly800, so I was just playing a patch I'd made on it! I don't think there's any other effect on it beside some reverb
@@jezspirit Thankyou !
I have 0 equipment right now and I'm wondering: Where do you get started?
That's a really good question! It depends on what exactly you want to do, but if you have some sort of field recorder and a computer, you can do a lot of things without more than that!
@@jezspirit what do you think is the best synthesizer keyboard that comes with a sampler? Do you plug in sound effects from your computer and then play the notes?
@@marcusatiusvirilis7723 It sounds like you want something like a Korg MicroSampler! When I'm playing live, I almost never have a computer (though there is nothing wrong with using one live!), so what I do is either record samples to tape or I use an Akai MPX8 which is a really basic sample player that I can play samples out of (and not much else).
When I'm recording, it's almost always with the computer as the centerpiece, with sounds going into Ableton and then me processing them once I've recorded them.
Another thing you could look into is getting a mixer with onboard effects. I have a mixer with a bunch of built in effects and I love it.
@@jezspirit thank you for the advice! my friend might have a mixer like that.
bruhh, what typa synth is that
It's a Korg Poly800 !
