Smokestack Demolition (2021)

We had the honor of teaming up with Industrial Access and heading to Portland, Maine to demo a failing smokestack that had been standing vacant for about 20 years. This was located just feet away from a historic building, B&M Beans. Using our safe demolition process, the smokestack was completely removed in just 7 days!
We had a great time in Portland, Maine enjoying the lobster and amazing scenery! As you can see, even the views from the job site were incredible! Fun fact, the locals in Maine were a little disappointed to see the smokestack come down. It truly did add to the skyline in Portland. However, safety is always the most important factor, and the smokestack needed to come down to ensure safety to all!

Nice work! Looks like you should have been hired to remove the smokestack at Crawford Coal in Chicago in 2020. The folks in Little Village would have appreciated it!

My dad worked there for many years and retired from there. Lots of memories. Sad to watch. Would love to have r one of those bricks
