Great to have you back! We are now on 4 acres and have 5 Wilty Polls and supplement feeding in drought and lambing season. Had to give up my quail which was heartbreaking as I loved my eggs. Just finishing chicken run and have planted the orchard and olive grove. Looking forward to seeing your place develop. All the best
Thanks Sandra! I'm so excited for you! It's sad about the quail but they are just a stepping stone to better things. And it sounds like you've got a lot of those better things lined up, so good for you!
Congratulations. I'm on track to get quail and then eventual find a country home and start a farm. Every thing you have to share will probably be profitable to me.
We live in North Texas. My wife and I are moving on to the “Inheritance.” We are still very interested in quail. If you can, we’d like to see more on outdoor quail raising. Will you be raising quail outdoors?
Where do you get your chicks/ducklings? I'm interested in caring for quails and possibly ducks, but not for a long while. So just for research, (since there are no breeders in my area) where should I look to get chicks/ducklings? (online)
No one does partridges...how do they compare to quail? I can't find anything on partridges (or pidgeons for that matter). I eventually hope to build some experience in all the foul out there...except ostriches!
Way to go Jaren... Glad you are back. Look forward to watching you grow your property.

Partridge have just never been seriously domesticated I'm guessing.
Time for a fish farm brother.
I'm seriously considering it. I'll probably be turning to you for pointers.
Urban Aviary well aquaponics is a pain in the rear but that is all I would be able to help you with.
