To hear this song and not feel emotional, especially when presented as beautifully as it is by Home Free, with Amazing Grace thrown in, is, I think, pretty much impossible. Vince Gill is the composer of this amazing piece. Can you imagine? He sang it as his brother's funeral. This is a masterpiece and this is a masterful presentation.
My uncle and grandfather served in war time, This song was played at both their wakes. I'll tell what both of them told me " Don't cry in sorry of my departure from this earth, but celebrate the life I lived."
Miss Miras, please do not be embarrassed about tearing up to this song, you have gone through something like this and it is ok. I do not know you well, but you seem like an angel lady with a kind, wonderful heart. May God Bless you and keep you forever. You have nothing to be ashamed of sister. :) You touched me as did the music.
My old man sang almost every day of his life. He was a homefree fan and not too long after he passed this song came up on my feed. When they sang the part about "when they hear your sweet voice sing" I lost it so bad that I couldn't leave my house for the rest of that day.
Honey You are just feeling the Song, crying is a natural response. It shows there is Love in your heart 😀Excellent review of an Amazing Song and Group.
Bless you Sister. We are all one huge, God-created human family after all. When one of us hurts, we all hurt. And for those that don't, they aren't mature enough yet. They haven't yet learned the hard lessons of grief, haven't experienced real pain. I am a survivor, a Daddy who has experienced pain. I am more than just acquainted with grief.
If this song doesn't tear your heart out and have you crying puddles, you are a psychopath. Please don't ever apologize for your feelings. Be grateful that you have them. I cry like a baby every time I hear this song.
No need to be sorry in the least we wouldn't be human if that song doesn't cause wet eyes stay safe AND in touch with your emotions you look pretty human to me.
There is no shame in showing your feelings; it makes you human and relatable! God bless you for your warmth and understanding for those of us who have lost ones we love and my prayers and sympathy to you for those you have lost.
Tks for sharing good feelings about the military. I am a retired U.S. veteran, with 3 tours in Iraq. I lost some friends. My uncle was also killed in Vietnam. This song always hits me hard, both good and bad. Nice reaction....
Be not ashamed of tears, this song does that to me every time as well. And I have been listening to it since Vice Gill first recorded it years ago. The catharsis is good for your heart.
This beautiful song is very emotional so your tears are very normal and shows your inner beauty as well, don't be sorry half of us watching are crying with you. Do ring of fire by these singers, great tune. Just subscribed because you are lovely. 🌹🌹🌹👏👏♥️😁
Freedom isn't free, this is the cost. It is a very dear cost, one that a great many of us have had to bear. My family, like yours, has felt this kind of loss. God bless you and do not be afraid to express what you feel, for that is an honest reaction. Home Free is an amazing a cappella (voices only) group, you should check out more of their songs. Please carry on dear lady!
This was sung at the funeral of someone who'd wrecked out responding to a house fire. It was originally supposed to be an a capella solo but the entire congregation joined in with people choking back sobs.
Don't feel bad about showing your true emotions. Many of us were tearing up right along with you. This is a very powerful song, with lyric's that will touch anyone who's ever lost a loved one. Thank you, for a wonderful, honest, and heart-felt reaction.
i just lost my wife in September of 2020 to cancer this song had me bawling my eyes out we wer married for 14 years she was only 36 yo and i miss her so mutch
My condolences. You will learn to carry the load. You will smile and laugh again but Grief will takes it time and it toll. Remember that Love crosses boundaries of space and time and eve mn veil of death. Love is infinite.
It’s ok to cry. We’ve all lost someone. I have a lot of soldiers in my family. It’s a beautiful rendition by Home Free and I like the video too. Keep reacting.
Its ok to raise your hands to our lord and savior when you hear this song. i Raised mine. and the tears flowed as well. In fact i dont think i have ever listened to this song without my heart feeling like it was about to burst out of my chest.
this such an amazingly haunting song ! *NEVER* apologize for your true feelings while reacting to a song...this is real raw emotion & a real reaction. Home Free made you feel something that was real to you. I hope you don't feel bad towards Home Free now. But this song is beautiful in it's own way & Home Free just expressed it
@@MirasThoughts As always, Kevin is right about this. I too feel tears welling up in my eyes whenever I watch this video, as do many many of us. It's a powerful song, presented well and respectfully, and it does what it's intended to do, bring back to us memories of lost friends and family, allowing us to honor their memories. I just heard this song and yes, I'm crying too. I lost my daddy to cancer three years ago and I miss him so much. I'm crying with you. He was a veteran and likely got something that led to cancer when he was in Desert Storm. He was a good man, a good daddy and I'll forever miss him.
I totally relate for a loss (as being a veteran myself) but this can apply to anyone. They are amazing singers, but the message in the song (Christ) is the most powerful reminder of what we do in our now life now sister, for all of us.......it lasts for eternity! (PS , your emotions are exactly as anyone would reasonably feel and your are strong!!!; you have an understanding of them, that is a wonderful gift!!) Please don't apologize, I also have the same understandable emotions in this regard .:)
