In Galicia where my family are all from there is a word 'Morriña' which is an intense longing, usually with melancholy, for something far from you, either your home as in homesickness, or for a time in your life such as nostalgia. Its a big part of the culture - in part because as a population that has had huge levels of emigration, people have a longing for home and all the experiences, foods, sights and sounds of it. I tend experience life quite strongly through the lens of my fixations/interests and my memories are very much connected to them (so much so that I have quite a poor memory for events and people that haven't been part of my interests. I've had people come up to me who knew me when I was a teenager, and I have zero recollection of who they are - on the other hand I can remember the tiniest detail of my interests at the time and exactly what I was doing then!) As such I'm quite present focused as I'm usually thinking about what I'm currently fixated on. But I do feel lots of nostalgia for my life during those previous interests. I've also felt nostalgia for times before I was born, and I sometimes wonder if that was caused by the kinds of films my grandparents used to watch when I was around them, that somehow in my mind have become associated with them, so that when I see things about the eras those films were set in, I feel this strong sense of nostalgia.
Hey There, It's Borhan here! I'm a huge fan of your "Autism's individual" UA-cam channel. Your content is always top-notch, and I can see the passion and effort you pour into each video. I believe you have incredible potential to reach an even wider audience with a solid UA-cam strategy. I would love to schedule a short meeting with you to discuss how I can help you grow your channel faster. This is not a sales call, but an opportunity to share ideas and offer assistance. Let me know if you're interested, and we can find a convenient time to chat. Thanks for your time and for creating such amazing content.
