Groom writes letter for the bride's late father - Puerto Vallarta Destination Wedding at Vidanta

- Jenna and Noah were married in Puerto Vallarta at the luxurious Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta Resort. I brought out the crew for this luxurious destination wedding week in paradise. I hadn't shot in Puerto Vallarta before, but was immediately blown away by the resort, and all it had to offer. We were at The Vidanta for the better part of a week, and we were blown away.
When I met Jenna, and her mother Melanie, we instantly clicked. They booked me pretty early on (I think I was the first vendor they booked), and we got to talking about the wedding day itself. Come to find out, Jenna had lost her father a few years back, near the same time I had lost my father. We shed a few tears, and both realized the magnitude of this wedding, and what it meant for the family. I don't take it lightly when someone is hiring me to capture memories like this.
They even chose the Vidanta because that is where she and her late father, and the rest of the family would go on vacation each year. So the location was a very special place to this family. The weekend was absolutely full of great memories, and filled with the love of her father Steve, even though he couldn't physically be there. So many special moments with Jenna and Noah come to mind, but watching Noah as he wrote a letter to Steve, and read it in front of Jenna, Melanie, and Sarah had us all in tears.
This is the start of something beautiful, and I am humbled and honored to have been there to capture it. I love editing destination weddings, and hopefully this shines through with the style I was able to get while editing this with the team.
