Because their partners are also actors and the know that making out with a camera in your face, 50 crew members watching you, and a director who literally has to judge whether it looks good on screen and critique the kiss scene is really unsexy and uncomfortable. I think you have to also go into that field with the mindset that you relationship is partially open when it comes to work.
