The Chicken had to cross the road and told the bunny here hold my basket. One day I might get a cell phone. Looks like a great product. Nice and simple. thanks for showing it Robert.
The only time I used it was when I made this video. If you don’t mind working with GarageBand on your mobile device, it’s great. But GarageBand on the mobile device is precisely why it’s not for me.
Most of the Joyo stuff has been pretty good for the price, this definitely looks like a cheaper alternative to some of the more expensive things out there.
Okay, so to address the opening question. We're all familiar with the zombie bunny who craps chocolate eggs for some reason and it's somehow connected to some Mexican dude named Jesus story. Don't gotta open that can of worms. As for this device? Wow. Now THAT is intriguing. I've been looking for something like this. Having sampled a not so good similar product and been bitterly disappointed, Joyo is a name I can trust. I can see myself giving it a go.
ive used a few joyo pedals and there not bad, they seemed to be one of the first budget friendly type pedals out there that were decent besides mooer and modtone maybe, now there is a plethora of chinese stuff whose biggest pedal is the size of a ditto
Hi! How do I connect it to a pair of studio monitors? Tips on cable types/set up would be highly appreciated. Just curious if one 3.5 to RCA cable is enough for both studio monitors, or if I need to utilize one cable for each monitor speaker. Thanks in advance!
I think you’d probably want to be selective about what microphones you’re using for the brass, just like with any other interface, but adjust your levels accordingly and it should work fine.
If the iPhone powers that thing and then you add phantom power, I wonder how long the battery in the phone lasts. Can you not add an external power supply?
Does the usb port support in and out? i.e. ADC and DAC? The manual and reviewers only seem to talk about usb-out (ADC). You're playing back from the iPhone but It's not clear if you're using a 3.5mm input or usb-c for the computer output. Can you please clarify?
Thanks for your reply Robert. For anyone also interested in this question, let me clarify - I wasn't asking about the computer - my apologies if I was unclear. I was asking whether the usb-c port supports "in and out" audio traffic. I got the answer from a local supplier - yes. Robert, your video did imply traffic in and out through the usb-c port but I wanted to make doubly sure since the manual seems unclear. The manual also seems unclear on the function of the Input monitor button - it talks about "wet and dry" sound which makes no sense given the unit has no effects. I have a specific desired function for that button but can't determine, from their description, whether that's what it does. My best guess is the button enables / disables input traffic through the usb-c port since that's the only "effects loop" - not what I want. I sent a question to Joyo but I've never received reply to queries on their web site - so not hopeful. What a nice little device and, Robert, your review helped more than any of the others toward my purchase decision. Thanks.
Robert dose the JoYo work on any phone or just Apple I phones? Also if that's all U used it would sure save space!! Have good memorial day brother,Rock - Till - Easter 🐇 brings u some EGGS!!!!
@@RobertWJackson Thanks Robert, was hoping it would, will have 2 look in on price and go over features again and see if I can find a great App/software ( Dose It Come with Software or have a website 2 get software?) multi track recorder and see if it's right for me?

That device looks super handy. The tune sounds killer as always. For the impossible question, I have no idea why people decided that the Easter Bunny should be laying eggs other than to represent fertility as opposed to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ unless I'm mistaken. Thank you once again for the content, Robert. Have a wonderful day.
Easter was originally the celebration of Ishtar, the Assyrian and Babylonian goddess of fertility and sex. Her symbols (like the egg and bunny) were and still are fertility and sex symbols (or did you actually think eggs and bunnies had anything to do with the resurrection?)
Well, the UA-cam era of shaky videos and horrible lousy audio are going to be a thing of the past now. Hopefully a lot of musicians will get into this thing.
@@RobertWJackson does it record very well? the recording sound is of poor quality, very disappointing and is not a recommended product. A direct microphone to an amplifier records better than that mediodre product.
Good to see you Robert..
Thank you for another great demo and review. Thanks to both JOYO and you for the discount!!! Please keep the great videos coming.

That’s the spirit! LOL
Rabbits may not lay eggs, but maybe the chicken crossed the road. I love the way you open your vids Robert.
Sounds great. I have a small JOYO distortions pedal that I love. Great video and great playing. They're great especially for the money 🎸
Love Joyo products. This seems to be a cool inexpensive alternative to other similar products.
Thanks for taking the time to put this video together.
Are you still using this and would you recommend it today?

Cables!
Seems to me that this should have come standard built into all the mini heads Joyo makes!
you should do a Live Streaming demo.
I’m out of the live streaming business for the moment.
Very nice review. What would be your assumption on quality for recording keyboard and saxophone through this? Thank you

Looks almost exactly like the Roland go mixer
Not really. The layout isn’t even remotely close. LOL
I was told that Joyo pedals are only sold oversea's. How did they get on Amazon ?
No, that’s not true at all. They’ve been available here in the U.S. on Amazon and other websites for years.

I didn’t use a computer at all for this video. Just the Momix and my iPhone.

Audio only. It’s not a video recorder. Very few devices out there do both on their own.

The recording really sounds underwhelming.
It actually records really well. I just ran out of patience trying to record and mix a full track in Garageband with my thumbs. LOL
