When you went for that step near the base close to the end just before the spatula came out I was thinking that running a couple of isolation flakes like running a flute may have helped that flake travel past center. I have good success with that procedure on difficult rock. I picked it watching Edbo23's technique where he takes a flake on both sides of where he initially wants to go then goes between them on the isolated ridge so the energy stays more focused and fans out in the mass. He does that a lot. Nasty comment you requested: just make 💩with what you've got...😄 Nice save in the end after the scoop out...just as well go for it when it do do's back at you, I say.
