Student helicopter pilot flying the Robinson R22 Helicopter from Son Bonet airport in the south of Mallorca to Alcudia Beach in the North of Mallorca.
I am 30 hours into my private pilots license Helicopter. Flying with The Helicopter Centre Mallorca. Based at Son Bonet Airport.
During this helicopter solo flight, there were 2 fixed wing students flying the same route as me. You will hear lots of air traffic on the radio as the fixed wing students communicate with me and themselves.

I am a 28,000 hour American Airlines Captain….and I will never forget my 1st solo! Marquette, Mi, 10 F and yes without my instructor the performance was incredible! Life changing!

I'm 75, and this brought back great memories of the feeling of when I soloed in 1966 in a C-150 (not a 152). I have been active ever since. Went through to ATPL and DC-3 type rating and started a Part 135 operation with my Beech -18. It was a life-changer for me, and congratulations on what you do 🌸

It was fantastic! I buckled up the passenger side seat belt. Pretend my mom was with me. Because she would be very excited to see me solo. She passed away when I was 13. I solo when I was 17. It was something was put into my heart. Great to see people moving forward with great spirits!
