Anyone can teach themselves to sing (even me) but enthralling an audience is when the magic occurs. (When I sing, people suddenly develop a pressing need to be elsewhere, anywhere else.) With Aida, they want more.
The version on the very first audition was the best version. It's such a shame that they actually stopped here half way through, because we don't get to have the completed version. She actually sings it better than Polina who originated the song and was a professional. Amazing version, and we only get half of it...
This is Aida's best version ever... She was never able to sing it again like this... Beavis and Butthead ruined one of the irreplaceable moments in history...
This is still, in my opinion, the best audition I have ever seen. Absolutely amazing and one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I come back to listen often.

What they did to Aida to create, or turn her into a " product " actually diminished her appeal to myself and many others. Her self taught style of vocals was unique and touched everyone who heard her . The more training / coaching she gets the more generic she becomes ....very sad. If it's not broken - Don't fix it !

If angels had a voice, it would be hers. But they took her raw, gorgeous, angelic voice and turned it into a typical pop singer's one. I'am an electronics musician for 20 years. The judges suspected a piece of electronic equipment was used to improve her voice. It's not like you can fool the cast of this show and slip an instrument between the microphone and the actual sound. The reason why the judges suspected foul play is because they knew she had a companion with an electronics instrument. There is a delay (echo) effect used in her voice. The delay effects were used in certain peaks of her lyrics or at the last 2 words of the lyrics. Listen closely to these timeframes: 2:382:593:23 and compare it with the rest of the song. Somebody must trigger these delay effects since you can't hear them continuously throughout the song. A microphone can have effect controllers but she isn't pressing any buttons. This is the reason why the judges suspected "her companion" to use voice enhancement tricks or foul play. A delay effect is no foul play since it just echo's her true voice.

As long as you hear claps you have echo. In 3:10 there are no crowd noises and her voice is crystal clear because the director goes only through her mic. In 3:30 you can hear her voice only from judges mic and its like she have backing vocals and then back again her clear voice. So I believe the echo is because of the multiple sound sources.

A continuous delay effect sound like rubble or just distorts the song. Listen closely to 2:38 2:59 3:23 and compare it with the rest of the song. The delay effect even haves a fade parameter to it, so it's not a real repeat of her voice.

When I close my eyes all I can hear is Mother Nature singing to me. So beautiful.
I'am an electronics musician for 20 years. The judges suspected a piece of electronic equipment was used to improve her voice. It's not like you can fool the cast of this show and slip an instrument between the microphone and the actual sound.
The reason why the judges suspected foul play is because they knew she had a companion with an electronics instrument.
There is a delay (echo) effect used in her voice. The delay effects were used in certain peaks of her lyrics or at the last 2 words of the lyrics. Listen closely to these timeframes: 2:38 2:59 3:23 and compare it with the rest of the song.
Somebody must trigger these delay effects since you can't hear them continuously throughout the song.
A microphone can have effect controllers but she isn't pressing any buttons.
This is the reason why the judges suspected "her companion" to use voice enhancement tricks or foul play.
A delay effect is no foul play since it just echo's her true voice.

As long as you hear claps you have echo. In 3:10 there are no crowd noises and her voice is crystal clear because the director goes only through her mic. In 3:30 you can hear her voice only from judges mic and its like she have backing vocals and then back again her clear voice. So I believe the echo is because of the multiple sound sources.
+easyoffroad The delay effect is not continuously... it's triggered at the end of her lyrics. So somebody must control it or use the effect in the right time. A continuous delay effect sound like rubble or just distorts the song. Listen closely to 2:38 2:59 3:23 and compare it with the rest of the song. The delay effect even haves a fade parameter to it, so it's not a real repeat of her voice.
+easyoffroad You're right about the echo...you can hear it when she sings without the backing track. As soon as the audience begin to clap, there is an echo.

Her voice gives me chills every time I hear this piece. I don't understand what she is singing but it's so melodious , and the timbre she is creating is just amazing.
She is blessed with an angel voice, actually brought tears to my eyes.
I am so angry that the judges interrupted her singing. She was doing such an awesome job that I want to add this COMPLETE live version to my music playlist but nooo, those judges had to ruin her performance.

Seriously, there must be an angle inside her. Her voice is so soothing it can make anyone asleep in a second. Also the judges thought that she was lip synching was the best thing ever. It might sound like an insult but no. Seriously the best voice I have ever heard in my entire life 🌸✨💜
