@@BTBRVReviews not particularly ford, but I've seen trucks built in 2012 and newer that were rotted out in less than 5 years of use. O dot trucks used to have a zeibart type material sprayed on them, rotted them out even faster.
😎🇺🇸👍 Great Video nice upgrade, Alcoa wheels Happy Holidays 🎄
I’ve got an ‘01 Excursion 7.3, It’s leveled and has airbags. The ride height and on road manners are fine but I do a lot of driving on dirt roads and the washboard sections just about kill me, it bounces so bad it’s starts drifting 3’-4’ laterally. Would the shackles help improve the off-road feel?
How are these holding up in 2020?
Don't have any major complaints with the V10 (this said with no experience with one) but he chose the V10 over a diesel because in his mind the diesels hadn't been proven yet (the 7.3L was on the market for 5+ years when his truck was built) so he chose a V10 instead that was the first year release for it? He went from not proven to less proven?
This is the answer I am looking foe
I would not upgrade the wheels on your F450. Aftermarket truck wheels , unless very expensive, usually have less capacity, are not hub centric, cheaper finish. You have to drop major $ to get capacity and quality of OEM wheels.
Always stick with Alcoa aluminum wheels...can't do any better or classier
Reklaw I delivered ingots to a Alcoa plant where they made rims. It's quite the interesting process the see the aluminum go from block to rim
If its 1990
Mickey Thompson classic 111 wheels are made by Alcoa. Only way to get them aftermarket.
My shop makes the forging dies for their wheels.
I have 3 v 10 i used to have a towing business u right diesel stick now you have to have 10,000 for tuneup and u have to lift the whole cab up to do anything to the truck
Where. Do you get those shackles if they help the ride I would love to replace the factory with them
6:38, front axle has no guts? Not shaft or u-joint? WTH?!?!?
Haha thanks for pointing that out youu are right. no axles, u joints or drive shaft lol = no balls 😂
You did a good job on that ,rusted bolts are a pain
I have a 2011 F450 Dually (obviously) in 2021 .
Is there an option to put some of these in the back and the front???? My wife hates the neck breaking vibrations .
Besides the front shackles is that the only thing you have on the suspension that is lifting the truck? It looks pretty high
Specifically what was the name of the part he installed?
There are no front axle shafts....LOL
must have converted to straight front axle for the size of the lift... hopefully one day hell finish it because there is
no front shaft either.
U mean drive shaft lol
Tim Burton it has a transfer case

Triton V-10..... might consider
yes opdate to black rims with a red stribe
@3:00 would it be a upgrade to put a cast wheel on when Alcoas are drop forged?
Hey Dale I have an 04 F 350 1 ton and I don't get the raised front, but to each his own. But my truck rides like a buck board, I have Timbrens in the back for my 5 th wheel do you think those Schlastics would make a difference.
So do you only put those on the front wheels? How much does it lift the truck more aprox. Just bought a f250 7.3 4x4 and want to upgrade suspension. Any advice would be appreciated like what shocks ext.
Have a 2018 Silverado 1500 single cab, standard bed V8 2WD. I don't tow or carry heavy loads. The ride is harsh, any suggestions or than buy a car because other than the harsh ride, I love my truck.
Anyone?
I like your stock rims on your truck I think you should stick with those.
You know how sensitive I am.....please don’t tease me about changing wheels. As for Dales truck I would be concerned about lateral movement....side to side. It also bothered me that his 4x4 system is incomplete. I don’t know why though.
+Steven Ruble: rebuilding his front driveshaft
I was about to ask the same question. Glad I read through some first.
Were do I get the parts,Iooking to outfit 2001 f 550.
Is that mod compatible with a 2000 F150?
I am a big fan of "stock rims" With slightly bigger tires......
Hey brother, I have a 2012 f250 4x4 4door. I replaced all 4 shocks with beilstein reservoirs, and I installed solastics in rear leaf springs. I still feel it a little rough. What else can I do?
