Am I the only one wondering how "thrilled" the choir is about this? :D They don't seem like people who normally like extremely loud extreme music :D

Well "scared" is probably a strong word. The song is practiced by the choir many times, and probably several sessions "live" with the band as well. If nothing else this would be a new experience in their lives and as such probably decently enjoyable. Also, unless the choir is extremely poor or the money is extremely good, the choir could probably turn down the job offer if they wanted to :P

Zombot yeah, i like the music, but it is just ridiculous them standing there with the notes in their hands and doing the background choirs and frost blasting away next to them

Dimmu did an amazing job with the orchestra and they made the entire music with and around it. Cant say that about this. Still nice though.

I love this stuff, but can't take it too seriously. Always said it was "like old horror movies meets bad opera". You can hear it everyday on iheart Graveworm channel.

Nice, i do like it. But there is a big difference between Dimmu Borgir and this. Dimmu's entire new style is build on working with this. The music fits the singers. With this.. not so much. Its just an extra sound and the music would still be pretty much the same without it. Ofcourse its part of the satyricon style i guess.
I hope they can work out some more with this. Although staying raw has its atractions just aswell. But i like the creative proces that Satyricon is going trough.
