Yes, sweets are considerably expensive in Bangladesh because the whole sweet is usually made of pure cream, ghee, dry fruits and high quality ingredients without mixing any fillers like flour. And that's edible silver. You will find it very common in your journey in Bangladesh and India. Specially in desserts. A
I think Google maps are good navigators for Dhaka. In your video near Gulshan, it showed much time that day. You can find your destination correctly on map, but sometimes it misleads whether you choose walking or other transport. Though there are a lot of Rickshaw, it doesn’t show the travel mode for Rickshaw. Dhaka is surrounded by four rivers. You can travel over Buriganga river by launch for BDT 25 or boat. So, riversides are very beautiful and you’ll get an amazing experience.
Brent make sure you have some Bangladeshi yougart the yougart is made in a mud pot its the best yougart in the world mate trust its very very delicious

Hey Brent, i have seen some of your Bangaldesh videos and dig it that you enjoyed it there. One thing i seen on two of your videos, you second video and one in Sylhet. The man in Dhaka Dhanmondi that was grabbing your hand was just asking for some money to eat and ask for your help, same was the lady in your first video. There are some homeless people in Dhaka that are particularly beggers and begging in the streets. Even homeless people in Dhaka are hard workers and work for a living they don't beg. But you know there are street corner beggers on every street corners and at intersections in USA and Canada we see. So hopefully you don't misunderstand those. They are just people that need a little help. So they would ask for some change. Hope your travels go well and you liked your stay in Bangladesh.
Brent, I am a fellow Minnesotan who happened to grew up Chittagong. Saying Salam does work as most of the people don't expect that in a patriarchal society.
If someone is grabbing you like that and they are not letting you go, they trying to get some money from you. I saw in the last video a lady tried the same thing. So, just ignore them and enjoy your start there.
Hey Brent , How is it going here in Bangladesh?? If you've planned to stay more in Bangladesh, then definitely come in Barishal, which is the southern portion of the country along with tons of catchy places nd sea beach , hope you would wander areas around barishal soon , peace out man ❤️❤️🇧🇩

I do help beggars but in Dhaka, they are too many, so just avoid and ignore.
