kuddos for the hardwork... it must've been hell to produce this video with all the editing, scripting, shooting etc... just got yourself a new follower.
i agree, just for the crazy work behind i'm joining the crew. I don't even own a switch but it's the first time i see something like that for japanese learners. 本当にすごいです
This is an insane amount of effort. I’m so thankful for it. I was already playing Pokémon to learn foreign languages, but this is like having a walkthrough at the same time.
I wonder if I should play the game first (in japanese) before coming back. Could allow me to test how I break down japanese sentences and if it is similar to this.
Lucky! Raki! The Egg Pokemon. Only thing I could understand LOL pretty Cool way ro learn explain and repeat. Great FORMAT for the video. Really enjoyed it thanks.
I'm thinking about joining the comunity! Think you are an awesoms teacher. Which dictionary do you use. I use jisho but I have a hard time finding expressions. Im translating zelda and had a hard time finding what 初めての方 meaning cause its an expression by itself
Hello! I am pretty new to Japanese and I am still learning my Hiragana. What characters are they using when describing the Pokémon's type? I thought it was Hiragana with a different font at first but they are super unrecognizable. Is that Katakana?
I loved this and appreciate this so much! This is so helpful and I feel like I actually learned a lot!!! I hope you continue this series! Also the female voice over voice is so good! Is that an ai voice and where's it from?
Hello, recently stumbled upon your channel. Is there a video series order to these? A place to start for beginners? I'm in the early phases of learning Japanese. Thank you.
Hmmmmm "tobidasu" is "to jump", "tobidashite kita" is "came out jumping" It's a very basic type of conjugation. You might want to get familiar with basic Japanese grammar before you watch these videos. I recommend genki, it explains this stuff in the first few chapters.
If only there was a spreadsheet/website with the japanese level and amount if kanji required to understand/enjoy each videogame.😔 Btw these videos are SO GREAT!
@@GameGengo what a nice idea I have been watching the videos for a long time, and it is good to have a native speaker as voice actor in games that do not have in-game voice acting thanks to Ms. Game Gengo マットさんの奥様、声の出演をしていただき、ありがとうございました。
Did anyone tried that "kamui" thing ? It sound cool but having to subscribe and pay for it, not sure it's worth compared to a game2text homemade setup, is it ?
I'm so glad I found your channel! Thank you so much! I'm having so much fun revisiting and learning Japanese again. The details and thoroughness throughout the video, is absolutely amazing and exactly what I needed.
Is there a way to play in Japanese without buying a separate Japanese copy of the game? I own LGPE on my US Nintendo account, but I also have a Japanese Switch profile set up.
He said in another video that he rarely does it because the more you go into the game the less views it gets. And by seeing how well those videos are made, it must be quite long to make, so I get his point.
He usually looks for a video having a minimum of 5K before considering making another video. Also he has been working on JLPT kanji and grammar points too. These videos take him a ton of time to make. So I think someday you'll have the full gameplay of this game.
HOLY CRAP THE EFFORT OF THIS CHANNEL IS ABSURD! I LOVE IT. MOAAAAAARRRRRRRRR
Yeah, I can't even believe he does it for free... And anyone that at least tried to make a channel knows how hard a video is hard to make 😅
Indeed indeed
Truly the best channel on youtube for learning japanese. Thank you so much for all your efforts, Pokemon especially is so fun in Japanese!
This is so wierd, I started playing this in Japanese for my first Japanese game last week.
Thanks so much for this

Incredible work as always, I'll always remember your work in the future, when i'm already fluent in this language!
The fact that you don't have 100k subs is a crime.
Almost there!! hehe thanks for the support

I wish I had found this channel way way sooner. Great work!
Yay I love let’s go Evee! Thank you for this episode ❤
Regarding Clefairy being Fairy (and not Chansey), there's a rumour that originally the Fairy type was meant to be related with space and the Moon.
I love this Series!!
This is insane damn. Thank you for putting so much effort in, it makes it really enjoyable to learn :)
Keep up the good work! This is truely awesome!!
Seriously I need to up my game! You're doing amazing work here.
These are so fun
めちゃ楽しいね!いつも勉強になってありがとうござま~す
You deserve everything, man! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the lessons
It’s a joy learning japanese with materials with such superb quality! Thank you very much!
Your work isnt overlooked, my dude
Wow! The timing is perfect 😂 I entered the cavern yesterday!
Immediately subscribed. Great video!
Another great video! I can't wait for the next part! ☺
Its been a while Sensei!!
What a nice surprise!

It's Hiragana, but very pixelated. So どく is Poison, but the " can be hard to see. The kana is also really small and can make it hard to tell.

Me with Jigglypuff XD
ポケットモンスターのイーブイはとてもかわいいです!❤
🎉
4:16 You say it is tobidasu, but in the text box it is written tobidashitekita.

@@GameGengo for example some games in your "top 60 games for learning in japanese" and maybe 3ds/ds games maybe
is this a hired voice actor? is it in-game? or is it text to speech, if it is text to speech that is impressive

I hope we get more episodes of this, I'd watch every single one.

Please, digimon world 3 or Yakuza kiwami 2 next time!

I've tried it and no it's not worth it. G2T is good but I personally find Yomininja's OCR to be more accurate.

Yes change your system language to Japanese and then start a new game.
The newer pokemon games let you choose the language at the beginning
damn, you were speaking so fast in the beginning I though it was at least 1.5x 💀
I love how the Japanese gets read aloud. I’m often too lazy to read the Pokedex entries even in my own language. lol
Well I've discovered a useful way to waste my silence. I'm so excited for your content
Damn I need this for Korean! Words divided by TOPIK levels and pointing out the, 초.중.고 급 grammars.
This is amazing man!
This would be awesome for any language
Dude never stop your so great you make learning Japanese so fun!!
This is a fun way of studying japanese. Thanks ❤
Do you have full playthroughs? It’d be great to watch that and then go over the game ourselves.
