@brianmeen2158 That's not necessarily true. Our youth baseball is just really ass. Once our players get older we get a lot better. Just look at our Senior Men's National team, they can beat any country on any given day.
Australia doing ok as baseball considered an unpopular sports in the country. Maybe need better coaching and strategy team to get them anywhere competitive in the near future.
Gonna be tough for these lower ranked teams to score 8-10 runs against these great pitchers. One bad inning and it’s game over. The real tests are coming up soon.
@brianmeen2158 LLWS just needs to change it's qualification process. International teams should get a national team selection instead of being represented by a local little league team. So many great players from International countries never see Williamstown because their team is ass. Bit of a side note, but the LL team that represented Australia in 2018 actually had two very solid players. Oscar Hyde and William Baker. Both still play here in Brisbane. Australia hasn't had players like them since then
Atlanta Braves announcer and former big leaguer Peter Moylan needs to get down to Austrilia and teach these boys and the boys coming up how to play baseball.
This makes them 5-22 in the LLWS, only 4 were in the main tournament draw. They beat Czech Republic (losers bracket), Dominican Republic (losers bracket), Italy (rd 1), Curacao (losers bracket), South Dakota (consolation game after 2-straight losses). Haven't won a game in LLWS bracket play since 2016. Just awful. Europe isn't really any better. Neither should be getting auto berths. SE Asia and Japan probably ought to get 2 teams in.
@@67L48I agree with the Asia and Japan extra teams. Baseball is huge over there and they’re quite good lol. It’s a lot of fun to watch clean, fundamental baseball which I think is the pride of the Asian groups.

I love how now they are being called "Taiwan" instead of "chinese taipei" 🥳🥳
Jack Edwards called them Taiwan 🇹🇼 in 95
They use it interchangeably….but Taiwan is better
Mientras no venga China a hacerla de tos pues todo bien.
Love that the announcers are saying "Taiwan" and not that ridiculous "Chinese Taipei" bs.
Venezuela , Japan , and Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) the best international teams by far 🔥

This game probably had the greatest talent difference between the two teams than any other LLWS game I've seen in a while.
Watch the Japan and PR game. Lopsided.

Not in the Sw regional! Some of these teams shouldn’t even be here ! Se,sw,w could all have multiple teams that are better then some regions
