We have one and I use it for my jewelry but I never thought about using it for my beauty tools! My husband uses it to clean small engine parts like carburetors
Brilliant!
Me to. Super thanks
Just got it this morning thanks for the information
I just bought an ultra sonic cleaner this week. Thanks for the tips!
Hope you like it!
Excellent video, all round 10/10.
Thanks really helpful!
i use mine for cleaning my airbrushes by disassembling them and sitting them in the pot ..
works well
It is crazy how much u sound like summer from rick and morty i love it, also, great video!
Thanks! 😃
Cap
Nice review! Brw corrie can i use this thing to clean plastic parts like from model kit? Or my rubber little action figure?
Thank you! I don't see why not, as long as it's ok in water!
I was looking at this specifically for glasses. Your video was the best at showing that. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
will this work for a 925 bracelet?
First time on this channel. Great info, thanks for the thorough review and actually showing stuff getting cleaned!
Also, you sound so much like Gina from Brooklyn Nine Nine 😅
Aw, thanks for your kind comments! I'll have to listen to Gina hahaha.
Thx❤❤
Hi corrie been a year now with that magnasonic, anything wrong happens with ur eyeglasses or the lens perhaps? Im thinkin buying this… thanks!!
Now it's been a year and 9 months lol. Still using it with no issues! No cracks on lenses or frames.
Can i use it as a everyday cleaner in my eyeglasses?
Hmm, I think if they are in good shape it would be ok... might be a little overkill. They do warn if the glass has any cracks not to use it, so that makes me think it might not be great for everyday. Maybe once a week?
Do you put anything in it besides water? Is it warm water or cold?
Lukewarm water and a single drop of dish soap (washing-up liquid)
Yeah, LIke ROd says lukewarm with a drop of dish soap.
can you use on Rings and bracelets Specifically ?
Yes, there are just a few things it warns you not to use it on (pearls etc).
Just wondering which one is this one?
Did you watch the video? Look at pictures? Read the NAME of it?? 🤦🏻♀️
Shoot, I wish I watched this sooner. I *just* returned this exact machine. I asked for it as a Christmas gift, with what I now realize was an unrealistic hope that it would miraculously make old, tarnished fashion jewelry shiny again. It did nothing for that so I was disappointed (when I thought about it I realized my vision of sticking a bunch of fashion jewelry in water and dishsoap in a $40 sonic vibrating container and it coming out looking like new was kind of half-baked). It did do what it's supposed to do, it got small particles of gunk off unseen places in the jewelry, the kind of cleaning you describe here. But I was so disappointed in the performance compared to my unrealistic vision, and I felt silly and guilty for asking my husband to spend money on it, so we sent it back.
I definitely didn't think of all the awesome uses you mentioned here. We totally would have made good use of it in our house. Feeling pretty dumb all around! 🤦♀️
Ah well, sometimes you gotta try things!! It's totally normal to change your mind later, haha.
If you use the right compatible cleaners it can remove tarnish and rust as well, it's just a question of the chemicals, not the agitator.
When it’s all the way tarnished you have to hand wash it 3x. Boiling water, baking soda soft toothbrush peroxide, and polish rag
Was always told by optometrists to never put glass frames with lens in the machine and to always take the lens out.
This is interesting.
Maybe, but there is no way I'm taking out the lenses hahaha. I'm gonna risk it because my glasses are pretty inexpensive... I think as long as they have no major scratches I should be ok. I'll let you know if anything ever happens to them!
@@davidluong8370 The actual issue is that anti-scratch and/or anti-glare finish can come off, especially if it wasn't applied correctly or was too thin (think cheap glasses).
You can get more dirt out when more area is exposed.
Have you ever tried cutlery (especially silver cutlery) ?
No, never!
It doesn't remove tarnish
I have an eyes glass cleaner machine. I see some of the eyeglass cleaning machines where you just lay your glasses on the bottom in a basket but I don't really care for that. Because I don't like my glasses bouncing around on the bottom of the basket. The eyeglass cleaner that I have you clip your glasses on a clip. The water vibrates around your glasses. But your glasses do not vibrate because they are suspended in the water. And that makes for Less damage
Wow, sounds really interesting. Can you watch them being cleaned? What brand is it?
@@CorrieV they have several on eBay but they have one for $9 + $10 shipping
That is the cheapest one right now
What solution are you using in your machine?
Just water!
Just uses regular water?
Yup, but you can add dish soap.
Hi, the water becme hot or not?
These small ones are unheated, but the process of ultrasonic cleaning creates heat. After about ten minutes of cleaning the water will become very hot.
not hot
I'm pretty sure if it is cleaning the surface it's also sterilizing it
Is it safe on diamonds ring
I use it for my ring all the time!
Yup! Mine is sapphire.
is that just water?
yup
“I like to watch 👀” ...so do we 👁👁
Haha
Chancy Gardener likes to watch!
Is it safe to put a phone, say iphone 12 in it?
I would say no....
No, the soundwaves would probably wreck/destroy the phone and 99% of phones a water resistant NOT flood resistant.
Doug's glasses! Gross but you can't NOT watch. Like pimple popping I guess. 😄
I think I would rinse the items with clean water after the machine cycle.
cleans glasses and then immediately grabs them by the glass
😂
Not a very good walk through...what is the liquid you put in the machine? That would have been good to know!
Just water!
Ive seen worse come off of glasses like 50 year old dirt from my grandparents old glasses and stuff. This is nothing and pretty laughable how grossed out some people are by a little dirt. Those are the people that grow up to get allergies because they keep too clean
It's so satisfying to watch tho @_@
@@CorrieV it is 🤩
