Spent like 2 years of my life non stop playing this game getting yelled at my.parents for not going to sleep.. get yelled at for hogging the computer . Not doing homework lost friends cause I just didn't care about anything but this game 🤣🤣 good times lol ima start playing again for fun
I was pretty obsessed about this game as I was young too, my heart is with you on this one :D Hope Flyff Universe ends up meeting your expectations! ^^
Hey dude I will download this tommorow and start playing can you give your username lets create crew? I try to build crew to level up fast let me know if your intrested ! (Anyone)
bro i failed high-school because of this game still love it to death though, but it was already dead when i started playing it so im happy to see and get to experience the original
I first played this in 2005/6, my first real mmorpg. Guntrix from GunZ the duel/Maiet entertainment began advertising it on the Gunzfactor forums. I think it was also featured on Game&game, a Korean website looking for global outreach. Found some really great games on G&G, Valkyrie sky, supa supa, skid rush, freejack & red muffler to name a few.
Flyff Universe was actually thinking of taking this approach as well, but it was basically pleaded by the community to use the skill point system. I find both approaches intriguing in their own ways, but I would lean on skill points as well since most skills early on are quite underwhelming :P
@@emenalus I didn't mind the spam style, sitting is certain location with all the other spammers and just talking sh*t while spamming. But i get that once you go to skill points, it would be hard to go back. But Flyff was my first MMORPG and I played it for a year or so, good time. Im trying to get into Universe.
@@Nitroglycerin89 Yeah, getting used to another system does make it hard to adapt to a different one, I totally get you :) I would feel the same if I was to use the skill spam feature instead! Hopefully you'll get used to skill points though ^^
Flyff Universe did not go their own path when it comes to upgrading as Sunstones and Moonstones are not the original upgrade components. PC Flyff also started with Power Dice system :)
Oh, thanks for the clarification! I didn't find any source for it and my first couple years in Flyff aren't as clearly in memory ^^ Glad to have some corrections :)
@@aowtweek5347 You might hear it from my voice but I'm definitely not old :D I was REALLY young back when I first started Flyff, so it makes remembering early details like that hard for me!
I played the original for 11 years, even part of the 2011 World Championships. Ultimately quit due to the number of hacks/scripts being used, which lead to the decrease of the player base dropping to a few hundred active for siege. I absolutely still love this game. Still waiting for something similar to come up, that will last.
Yeah, I've also harbored a long-term love for the game but in the modern version, the abundance of bugs, real money trades, hacks and overall unbalance drove me off from the game. Flyff as a concept still lives strongly in my heart though, and would love to see something like it being released to the market ^^
Thank you so much for the feedback, that was my intention all along and I'm glad it delivered! Too bad Flyff doesn't have that many iconic/memorable soundtracks that I could put in, but I hope the fillers brought it home as well ^^
I'm getting PTSD thinking about how I would spend literal hours grinding level 120/Master Rank at 0.06% Exp per kill in the forsaken Tower (With stacked cash shop exp scrolls). I wonder if the RingMaster's Auto-revive skill was un-nerfed in Flyff Universe, Ringmaster was the best and safest for AoE farming the Cash shop Island since his Auto-revive skill meant you never died (The skill did not have a Cooldown). Oh god and the Stat Pets, I had to leave my computer on for actual consecutive DAYS to level up a stat pet that would come out bad because it's ALL random; you could spend 3 days to have the pet roll a low stat. REST IN PEACE legendary Axe, you were my source of income for the longest time. it would sell for 200 ~ 400 million Penya for a single axe (iirc). Because of inflation it wasn't all that rare to see people with billions of penya lol. It was pretty cool that most if not all of the cash shop items could be resold ingame via Player pop-up Markets; and you would find a person that forgot a Zero in a hot item and you buy it up instantly and sell it for a profit.
Been there myself buddy, 120 grind and master levels were no joke :D Honestly, I don't know anything about an Auto-Revive that RMs have, and I'm not sure whether they brought it to Flyff Universe. Sounds like it'd be too powerful though, so I guess they didn't bring it back :) Leveling the raised pets were a pain in the ASS, it was definitely something that you HAD to spend on to get decent results... Flyff Universe doesn't seem to have Pet Tamers though, so atleast for now I suppose Raised Pets don't exist? I think the low volume of soulbound items was one of the charms Flyff's always had, and I like it how you can buy something and be able to recycle it back to the market when you no longer need it :) Playing with the market has admittedly always been one of my guilty pleasures, it's always a fun trip to get an item dirt cheap XD Inflation in original Flyff nowadays is beyond ridiculous, you don't even wanna know... but glad we're in Flyff Universe now :p
RIP my 200 mill Baby Lamb (or w/e) pick-up pet that I sold for 200k on accident, literally one second after realising my mistake, it sold. And that meant absolutely massive progress loss, haha.
Well, you can experience it again! LOL Also, i'm playing the new Ni No Kuni MMO and its the same way, so MMOs havent changed much in that aspect. Im level 63 and im getting 0.01% experience per kill and thats with 700% experience buff potion.
Remember playing as a level 110-something Ringmaster on the Aibatt server back in 2006! Fun times, until you got to the point of getting like 2-5 percent of a level from a whole day of grinding ^^;
Yeah, the grind gets pretty intense going forward into late game... it's really important to also have another factor while playing to keep the grind tolerable!
Some people are Grinding hard for that first level 120. But i'm here playing casually enjoying the game can't believe it's back and you can even play it on Phone it will make the game more playable for anybody.💯
There's definitely some lunatics out there, fixated on reaching the very top, but I honestly feel like these are the people who are missing out on the most fun. The game is brimming with players and activity again, why not take the chance to just lay back and have fun with others? :D I'm glad you're making the most out of your experience, hope you'll make some friends and have some fun together ^^
Out of spite, I've gone the opposite direction and am not even trying to level, only obtaining the Monster Hunter titles, in order. It's taken me a few days, but I'm almost done grinding Nyangnyangs. xD
My Mercenary is about to hit level 60 same with my FS assist just by playing casually knowing where to go and the mechanics of the game etc etc. But yeah it's been fun met some new friends already.
Flyff is the best online game i ever play since its on PC only and ill play it till i get old thankfully its also playable in smart phone so it can adapt to the present that what Ive been waiting for i thought it would not be possible through its complicated way but here it is, i only play Flyff for fun because of its world of adventure i hope it will grow more and the map will grow more thanks to Flyff even thought Im old my child hood is back hahaha

Original ups are the dices they did not replace moonstones and ori its the other way around.back in first flyff open beta there are no set items and the only fast attacking sword you can get is fron mars dungeon the tritium sword.
Yeah, I got a lot of comments about the dice coming from the earlier years of the game - I didn't remember that, but either way the information will serve those who haven't been there since the early times :) Truly some interesting stuff about the Flyff Beta here, but those don't really match with the topic of this video - good to know though! ^^
I know, right?! I'm already enjoying the game in Asia even though I'm still holding back, can't wait to just dive right into it when Global comes out :D
Yeah I'm doing the exact same in preparation for global :) It's been a good learning experience to get the hang of things before going full speed ahead!
Thank you so much for the nice feedback, glad you've liked my stuff! :) It's a bit slow to pump out high quality production, but not to worry, I'll keep creating and playing! ^^
Sadly i started on South Asia server and cashed out , not knowing I could never bring my character to the global server, high ping a part I like the community over there , all friendly
Aww, sorry to hear that you ended up making such an important decision without knowing that transfers aren't possible :( I guess you could try making a ticket in their Discord server, pretty sure you're not the only one in this kind of a situation! Best of luck
about the giants...for some reason back when I was lvl22 or something when I still haven't cleared the giant demian quest I saw 2 or 3 giant demians at once, and their respawn rate was...kind of crazy, taking 2-3 mins or something. Then I saw a violet, which...could they have had an influence or was that just the mocomochi event?
Hey there! Sorry for the really late response, I noticed that some of my comments don't get through my notifications so I think I'll have to check my comment tab in the studio section more frequently... I think the Giant Demian spawn rate was upped specifically because of that quest. In the first days of release, there was an insane amount of camping between several groups of players just to take down the giant, and I think that the developers thought that it'd be better to make the spawns more frequent to cut down on waiting. The violet in the other hand has nothing to do with the spawn rate or the mocomochi event, in fact Violets are a core mechanic in Flyff Universe for dropping upgrade protection scrolls! They can spawn at almost any mob tier anywhere, so its existence there was pure coincidence :)
Thanks for the feedback bro, I appreciate I've had so many people approaching in a positive light to give feedback to make my videos better :) Don't worry, I'll improve on that in the coming videos! ^^
New player of Flyff here, and have playing it for at least 22 or something days (I have not played the original) because it became an unskippable ad when I was watching here on yt. Only thing I can say is that I was shocked to be able to play, without downloading it. Pretty useful vid here, especially when looking up the wiki (and almost always ending up at the completed wiki/old wiki) for when I need to lvl up, fast.
@@redblade5556 Thanks for the support man, glad my videos have helped you to get started with the game! :) I'm intending on releasing more beginner-focused videos in the near future as well, hopefully they'll help more ^^

Thank you so much for the constructive feedback, I put a lot of effort into making it clear and concise while also making the viewing experience enjoyable! Appreciate it when people can take notice of such things ^^
Yeah, I was told so many times over when I first released this video and I apologize for the misinformation :) I was VERY young back when the game first released and I didn't seem to have any recollection of the dice. I couldn't find information about the dice in the past either, although I guess that'd make sense given the time of the internet back then 😅
Ringmasters are definitely not the strongest tank or DPS, but with the changes to Merkaba (Follows the character), they are a more versatile Hit-and-run AoE character than ever. They also gain access to it at level 60 and are able to level there quite independently if they wish, thanks to Moon Beam. As for healing, they still remain to be the only healing class in the game.
i am having problems joining back to flyff when i left the game last time i was on webzen servers .. how do i download the game ? and how is it possible to transfer my account on the new launcher please help!!
Hey bud! You don't have to download Flyff Universe, it's entirely ran on a BROWSER! Just type universe.flyff.com and you'll figure out the rest! Sadly Flyff Universe isn't the same as Flyff PC that was hosted by Webzen, but instead a reincarnation of how Flyff used to be with improved graphics - so you'll have to start over in there :) Mind you that the global servers are due for release this Tuesdsy, so if you prefer that over the South-East Asian servers, I'd definitely just wait it out. Hope this helped, happy Flyffing!
God my cousin got me into fluff probably around v5 if I remember correctly put so many hours and late nights into this game back when I was a kid, I played a blade back then I might just have to start a new account for the feels
Our friends are so addicted to this game we dont have pc so we go to comp shops and because we dont have that much money when we are playing we play 1 character and the owner is 3 people so our character become strong so fast and it give the computer shop players an idea they copy our strategy some are about 5 people for just 1 character they become monster so fast 😅 we have shifting schedule when playing i miss those days.
I take it that was back in the days since you said you miss those days? Man that's a wild adventure, I also remember setting up a couple collab characters with my friends too but it never really worked out :D I was the only one truly into Flyff. Must've been quite the experience! x)
hmm. hows the housing system? if i remember correctly, all my furniture and maybe a hat vanished after a while. or maybe im getting flyff confused with another game...
I actually never really paid attention to whether Flyff Universe brought the housing system. You're right on that though, you could rent furniture in the game and set them in your house, atleast in the actual Flyff game. However the housing system was kinda trivial all along, all you could get was a small square-shaped house and at best temporary furniture with miniscule stat boosts from the cash shop... or buy statless, expensive basic furniture from the housing vendor :p Point is though, you should probably check that out yourself... and define on your own whether that's worth your time :)
@@MegaMegajennifer There isn't permanent furniture, that's the point xD And the answer is simple: Money. Not sure if Flyff Universe would be more merciful though, assuming that they implemented or atleast will implement housing again
@@MegaMegajennifer No, it's more like you can get your hands on vanity (no benefit furniture) simply with penya from a vendor. They're also pretty bland, offering a simple color theme to choose from. Then there's the statted furniture which was obtainable through spending or events. The bought furniture was tradeable, but the prices of course were pretty high too in comparison due to them being cash shop items... but like I said, the stats aren't even remotely impressive in the first place, and the custom pattern doesn't really make it worth it. The house that the game has to offer severely lacks customization and isn't even that popular as a hangout spot. So I wouldn't worry your head over the housing system that the game may or may not have, unless drastic improvements have taken place :) Sorry for the later response, for some reason the notification didn't go through!
There's not really much I can teach about inventory slot quests as there's no particular pattern :) I do have a couple tips that I can give though: - Try and check all of the quests available to you. They're displayed on your map with yellow or red exclamation marks. Red one stand for chain quests though, so you might need to do them far enough to get inventory slots! - Flyffipedia is a GREAT website even for this purpose! Just write up the quest name to the search bar and scroll through the entire quest chain while checking each individual quests' rewards for inventory slots. If they aren't mentioned, there's none to be gained :) - You can see the quest rewards in your quest log (Q on PC, not sure on other platforms though), and inventory slots will also be mentioned in the rewards if there are any. - Office quests do not give inventory slots, atleast as far as I know. Great question bud, thank you so much for asking and for watching the video
@@emenalus No worries! It's awesome though that the current developers are going back to the roots of what made flyff fun and just improving on that and not just stuffing it full of other things that it all becomes convoluted. So excited to keep playing.
That's the Windmill Hut song from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, or more popularly known as Song of Storms from Majora's Mask :) You can find all of the music I've used in the description, in case you're ever curious! Also, thanks for the lovely feedback! Glad you liked it
Aww, that's a shame to hear... same thing happened to me too :( It's stupid that they just can't transfer the account data from one publisher to another when lots of people could miss out on such information... and cause things like to happen. My condolences for your loss!
@@emenalus yes i like how it was before the penya bug and the patch that people abandoned it for ... then i'll try it and see if i can do my characters better this time
Yeah, someone else in the comments also told me the same thing. I was quite young back then so I didn't have strong recollection of the existence of the power dice - I basically grew up with the stones :) Thanks for the heads-up though!
So I’m playing on mushpang and it’s Flyff US I believe. Is this the same as Flyff universe ? No right ? So basically I’m playing for no reason since Flyff universe is coming out ?
Yes, Mushpang is in Flyff US. And as I explain on the video, Flyff Universe in many ways is fundamentally different to Flyff. I'm not saying there's no point to play Flyff as Flyff Universe comes out, but everyone else will be playing there instead and you'd miss out :) So give the game a spin, see if you like it and decide then whether Flyff Universe is worth your time ^^ Trust me, I'm sure you're going to like it!
@@emenalus yes, will def love it. I started getting really into again on Flyff US just now, but honestly the news of Flyff universe coming to NA soon made me feel a little indifferent. I actually didn't know that, huge thanks for the heads-up! :) But well, while I lack some knowledge from the earlier years, the point was to compare the system to how it is now ^^ Glad to learn about this stuff though!
Can't say for sure, but I think your best bet would be to open a browser within your PS4 or TV, and somehow plugging a keyboard and mouse into the device. I don't think the game has gamepad compatibility though, if you intended to play it with a PS4 entirely. Remember that if that doesn't work out, you can also play the game on the phone :)
Hey mate! This is awkward, I never got a notification for this comment... huge sorry for the EXTREMELY late response! As far as I've seen, the couple system doesn't exist in Flyff Universe, and even at this point I haven't seen any clear indication whether they had any intention of re-releasing it. Personally, even if there was no buffs involved, I would LOVE if the system was brought back since in my opinion it has a lot of roleplay value :( But well, let's keep our fingers crossed that it'll come back ^^
No problem! And yes, I was actually thinking of releasing some more beginner-oriented content about Flyff Universe as I've taken notice there's also a LOT of players who are completely new to the game :) I hope to release another video this weekend, but I haven't had the time to start yet so it might be just a pipe dream xD But I'll keep releasing, so stick around to see more
Usually specific violet monster spawns happen at the same monsters of relatively near them. So I'd be looking either near bangs in Flarine or around the bangs in Saint Morning. I think you can use flyffipedia.com too for spawn data :)
@@emenalus thank you, i thought they have a particular spawn location. Flyffpedia offers a lot of info re monsters but no indicator of particular spawn location 😅😅😅
@@immanuelyi6537 I checked and yeah, apparently Violets are not given set spawn locations. Works with normal monsters tho :p But yeah, any violets spawn in the proximity of their parent monster :)
Btw Imma tell you an unbiased experience with levelling for me, I will compare FlyFF Universe to two other mmorpg's that I had a chance to experience, Immortal Destiny and Legacy of Discord. Legacy of discord has the crappiest lvling speed, as you have to wait for your energy and a few other things to be able to get experience. Immortal Destiny's leveling early on is faster than mcqueen, but as you get near to apex and eventually apex 300+ etc it slows down. A lot, but exp dungeons do circumvent that and two tries gives enough to get a higher level or your exp before +45%. Flyff's is well, grindy. First is you don't have AA (or auto attack i.e. auto attacks mobs that are near you without having to click that both of my previously mentioned mmos had), though if you check the settings FlyFF Universe has it, but you have to click the mob, and sometimes, reds appear from behind you, then slaughter you. You do get back 30% of what you lost, but that is still a huge setback, which gives me Dark Souls vibes. Not to mention but a single lvling session consumes an hour and a half, along with 100 food. You do get food from drops, but it is still pretty darn expensive.
Yeah, MMOs have very different approaches when it comes to leveling. I see that Legacy of Discord decided to go with the "time-gated" route, AKA your progression is restricted by the rate at which you gain energy. It's a pretty unconventional system in my mind, as you have to play when you don't want to in order to progress, and you won't be able to play it when you actually want to. :( Immortal Destiny is quite similar to what I've heard about Maplestory, leveling early on is pretty quick, but at the high-end levels you're looking at weeks, even months worth of grinding just for a single level. Difference is though that Maplestory doesn't have EXP dungeons, so... progression just stays slow :p What I can tell you about Flyff Universe is that it is indeed grindy, but as I bring up on my more recent video, questing takes a key role in progression. Quests early on can help you fund any food that you need to survive and give you good exp rewards when done on their intended levels, and with chain quests that carry on for long, keeping in check with quests regularly becomes a powerful tool for leveling. Funding things solely by grinding early on is pretty difficult, but as you level up, the income you get from selling trash to vendors should make you self-sufficient enough to not make affording consumables an issue. If you're also struggling to handle any possible "ninja spawns", consider maybe buying pills from a general store, better food from vendors or adding some STA to your stat build. Every bit counts, and you need to be ready for surprises! :) Hope all of this helps, good luck with leveling
@@emenalus thanks for the reply man...but I'm planning to stay only up to lvl 39 for a friend...and...any tips on how to gain penya fast? More so since a comet suit goes from 800k (twice my current penya) to 10million (overpriced as hell, and pretty underwhelming once your lvl grows out of it then no one other than the npcs will want to buy it off of you for only 50k something) Though I do plan on taking up knight (because on what I saw in the wiki was that it has aoe attacks and skills, though slow as hell) so any tips on making a tank an actual irl tank (slow atk rate, but hits hard and is beefy. Kinda like a mini boss)? (guess dex might play a role here even, but I rlly don't have to lvl up Int once i reach the knight class...or do i?)
@@emenalus and the best approach for me is hoarding all the quests so that when I get to a continent that has three npcs that complete that quest...it really feels rewarding and you lvl up thrice in a row...though most of the quests I have now is pretty hard for a lvl 38 me...
@@redblade5556 Like I said earlier, do some quests to earn some early cash! Trust me, some of the questlines in your level range can give you several hundred thousands if you get invested to them! An alternative option is also to sell any good drops you might get to players and earn some pocket money, or just keep grinding and vendoring trash until you have enough! You can lock your exp if you're too concerned about your level, your choice though ^^ I personally wouldn't be too concerned about outgrowing the Comet set, the set is good to go until 60 (the 45 set is bad) and you can always pass it on once you're done with it ^^ If you wanna be an actual beefy tank and hit hard, your option would be to go for some mix of STR and STA to make yourself both hit pretty hard and withstand a beating, although you would be a hybrid and not exactly excel in either of the routes. DEX would also be pretty important for autoattacks as it affects your hitrate. My suggestion: if you don't mind dropping the AoE idea, you could opt in for a 1v1 knight. Grab a 2h sword, put a few dozen points on STA and then build up STR and DEX as needed. You would be moderately durable and do some decent damage against your enemies. If you wanna AoE properly, I'd highly recommend a STA-focused build :)
Flyff Universe is basically a remaster built around Version 7 of the original. It has most of the features that Version 7 had while adding some that people have liked in the past and removing ones that they didn't while also offering a graphical update and some other quality of life changes. I haven't been playing the game recently, but back when I did atleast the game was BRIMMING with players on the European side. Not sure how the situation is like now though, but I haven't gotten the impression that the game is dying or anything. Have fun with leveling, and hope you'll be able to build yourself a nice guild group! ^^
This was the case back when the game first released (Mind you that this video was made back in launch!). Currently, the two old cash shop areas, Azria and Coral Island have been implemented as new maps and a continuation to the world of Madrigal, taking us now to as high of a level as 160 :) Some of the other old continuations like Shaduwar, Kaillun Grasslands and Bahara Desert are not a thing in this game though.
@@emenalus ahh ok. I was confused for a moment there. This also explains why I suddenly discovered Violet masquerpets. I started playing the original version sometime after… version 6, was it?? I didn’t see those when I first played the game in the 2010s
@@erictiffany8174 Yeah, Violets are a completely new thing that came with Flyff Universe. The game takes a lot of its roots from version 7, but also implemented mechanics from other versions and made additions of their own :)

The expected release is around June or July, and there's also been a rumor that the Gala's japanese website said that the planned release date is on the 14th of June. Nothing's locked in though!
I don't know when you used to play so I can't give a direct comparison, but Flyff Universe is looking really promising. The bugs the game suffers from nowadays are gone, the overpowered mechanics are balanced out and each of the jobs seem like a viable option to play :) The game is INCREDIBLY packed, I'm playing on Mia and each channel is filled with shops and leveling spots even past 40s are still crowded. Definitely not dead :D Like I said near the end about the cash shop, upgrade scrolls are available through it and buyers will have an edge, but unlike in Flyff they're also farmable from these new types of giants called "Violets". They have a small chance of dropping any of the upgrade scrolls, making them much more abundant (and cheaper) than before, so buyers don't have complete market control. Aside from that, you can also buy some basic stat cloaks and pick-up pets from the cash shop, but they're being sold by other players at affordable prices.
@@henryvikingr Like I said, they're pretty balanced so it's hard to say what job is the best now ^^ and the game hasn't progressed so much that there would be a max geared player of every job to test that out. I'd honestly focus more on a job that interests you than one with presumably top DPS
Good point from M! The only servers currently up are the Asian servers, the global servers are still not out and there's no date promised, but I've heard they intend it to be released around June/July. I'm personally from Europe, and my ping at its best is around 180 in Mia - so your call whether you wanna get on and try the game out before global release :)

@@syrphilipgulmatico5352 I understand, after all F2P MMOs usually come with heavy monetization. Nothing you can do about that though, otherwise they wouldn't be earning :( Hope you enjoyed it even for the little bit while it lasted, have fun in Rose Online! ^^
@@syrphilipgulmatico5352 The fact that it thrives is also part reason why it can be more merciful with monetization :) Flyff Universe was released only 2-3 weeks ago, so it's hard for them to say just yet whether the servers will sustain themselves on a less demanding business model. Will see if Gala will lower the bar or if they're gonna keep the game as is - hope for the best!
I played Flyff back in the day when they had the power dice, I think it kind of started going downhill when they started replacing them. So great to see this game still being played!
Flyff Universe brought a lot of the old crew back to the game thanks to the reintroduction of systems that once made the game enjoyable to people. I'm really glad so many found their ways back to their childhood as well ^^
Hey man I love you vids! Been trying to find these kinds of tutorials lately. Just started playing. Was hoping maybe you have a beginner guide for new players on what to do/farm and what class is good to start with.
Hey dude I will download this tommorow and start playing can you give your username lets create crew? I try to build crew to level up fast let me know if your intrested ! (Anyone)
Thanks for the feedback, I had someone else also mention that flaw to me earlier :) You can only improve by doing, hopefully the next one will be better!!
Chrome is actually one of the best browsers to play it in. Have you turned on hardware acceleration from the options? Make sure it also runs on your gaming dedicated graphics card in case you have multiple. Lastly, adjust your settings according to your specs :) Hope this helps!!
Has a lot to do with class popularity demand as well as old stigmas. Depends also on how good of a set effect we're talking about - Cruiser set for example isn't even as good as it used to be anymore. Don't get me started on Flyff PC prices though, I think a clean Cruiser suit would be at LEAST 1 billion XD
@@apertaplays Don't know if you're basing that on facts or you simply wanting it cheaper, but it's gonna take a while for the market to plummet as long as people are buying it for such an obscene price
Same as normal upgrading! Just place an elemental card instead of a power dice in the normal upgrade menu to proceed :) Past +3, there is a separate safe element upgrade menu at the gear shops.
I suppose that means you're new to the game :) There's actually a setting in options where you can change your "keyboard mode" to Basic, changing the movement controls from an 8-directional into where you simply turn when you press A or D. Most people don't like the 8-directional setting as far as I'm aware, so I recommend trying that out :) You can also hold right-click to lock the camera position when you're moving to have better control of your screen. Left-click simply drags your camera but is also affected by your movement - so use those the way you like! Don't know if that's enough to consider giving it a second try, but if you're not convinced, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like the game. Hope you'll find another game that suits you better ^^
Ohh trust me, you didn't miss out ob anything from leaving behind Flyff PC. I had a couple Master level characters that I willingly dropped without a second thought! Flyff Universe is just that much more of a better experience than Flyff PC is now. Don't worry, you'll get to 80 in no time - and by then, you'll have made a million different connections with people that you wouldn't trade for anything :)

@@emenalus it is hopefully they do it on browser as well. Progression wise on Rose online is much better than Flyff. It’s so hard to level up at Flyff even associated with quests.
That was nice seeing a whole party taking Giant Demian down while my experience was leveling up to 30 to take it down alone sadly. I'm missing the whole mmorpg experience. Now, I am lvl 60, my recorn suit broke from piercing because of my dumbass and all friends in my messenger list is lvl 20+ higher than me . what the fuk is this. I lost all hope and decided to become a PK player.
I know exactly how you feel, I've been there before - Trying to follow up to others' expectations and just speed through everything. But I've spent so many years on MMOs, I realized that I've always had the most fun when I would sit back, relax and enjoy playing with others. The community part is what it makes an MMO an MMO, after all :) It takes effort to break the mold, but following your desires can honestly do you a huge favor. So give it some serious thought what it is that you want to achieve when global servers release ^^
Yeah, Flyff isn't exactly known for having the nicest community. Especially because Flyff oriented towards being mostly soloable, I guess people also grew to be distant :) Flyff Universe is a different beast though, there's a bunch of nice players as well as new ones that make the overall community experience better, and the game is doing its best to counteract botting! I'm sure that you would enjoy it now~
This one is a VERY old video from me, so there's much more for me to offer through many of my other guides! Feel free to check them out, and hope they'll be equally as helpful
Depends on how you play your cards! I've been playing on Global servers since release this Tuesday, and it took me roughly 35 in-game hours to reach level 60. Mix and match efficient questing, pairing up with others to make leveling faster and determination to grind, and it won't take you that long :)
@@emenalus I'm not sure what certifies as an old-timer but Flyff was my very first mmorpg back in 2009(?). I've played many since, but flyff still holds a special place in my heart... :) (Although I definetly sucked at it, never got further than Darkon 2 haha...)
@@hanamiakuma I think that counts, you used to play the game back when it was still really active and on strong feet. Flyff PC has been deteriorating a lot for the past few years, but Flyff Universe does a really good job bringing back the feel the game had all those years ago. Of course things are a little rowdy on the first week, but the quality of the experience is still there and I'd definitely recommend giving the game a go now if you've craved to get back to the game :)
Yeah, well that's how some of the players are I'm afraid :/ Especially if you're playing along with those who take the game seriously, that's probably the most common attitude you'll come across. That's how the gaming community has turned out nowadays, not just Flyff players. I wouldn't say you should give up though, I'm sure you'll find a nice player or two if you keep looking ^^ I've had a great experience so far myself, but it really comes down to luck who you meet up with. Meet players with a positive attitude, I'm sure someone will eventually respond in kind :)
Heads up, fellas! I'm intending on releasing another video this weekend, so stay tuned if you want to see more Flyff Universe content! :)

bro i failed high-school because of this game still love it to death though, but it was already dead when i started playing it so im happy to see and get to experience the original
I first played this in 2005/6, my first real mmorpg. Guntrix from GunZ the duel/Maiet entertainment began advertising it on the Gunzfactor forums.
I think it was also featured on Game&game, a Korean website looking for global outreach. Found some really great games on G&G, Valkyrie sky, supa supa, skid rush, freejack & red muffler to name a few.
thats the spirit!
I remember playing Flyff when you would spam skills to level them. Ahhh the memories.

AoW mad props dude I remember this system.
Man I played that as a child. I’m now 32 and this game is still alive. Crazy
On the same page buddy, we might age but the experiences are still timeless ^^
I played the original for 11 years, even part of the 2011 World Championships. Ultimately quit due to the number of hacks/scripts being used, which lead to the decrease of the player base dropping to a few hundred active for siege. I absolutely still love this game. Still waiting for something similar to come up, that will last.
Yeah, I've also harbored a long-term love for the game but in the modern version, the abundance of bugs, real money trades, hacks and overall unbalance drove me off from the game. Flyff as a concept still lives strongly in my heart though, and would love to see something like it being released to the market ^^
your name dose sound familiar. tryna figure it out i started flyff 2006
Cool video I especially loved the nostalgic music choices :)
Been there myself buddy, 120 grind and master levels were no joke :D
Honestly, I don't know anything about an Auto-Revive that RMs have, and I'm not sure whether they brought it to Flyff Universe. Sounds like it'd be too powerful though, so I guess they didn't bring it back :)
Leveling the raised pets were a pain in the ASS, it was definitely something that you HAD to spend on to get decent results... Flyff Universe doesn't seem to have Pet Tamers though, so atleast for now I suppose Raised Pets don't exist?
I think the low volume of soulbound items was one of the charms Flyff's always had, and I like it how you can buy something and be able to recycle it back to the market when you no longer need it :) Playing with the market has admittedly always been one of my guilty pleasures, it's always a fun trip to get an item dirt cheap XD
Inflation in original Flyff nowadays is beyond ridiculous, you don't even wanna know... but glad we're in Flyff Universe now :p
RIP my 200 mill Baby Lamb (or w/e) pick-up pet that I sold for 200k on accident, literally one second after realising my mistake, it sold. And that meant absolutely massive progress loss, haha.
0.06 at lvl 120 sounds like heaven lol
@@jaydeaux7371 oh trust me, it is... xD
Well, you can experience it again! LOL Also, i'm playing the new Ni No Kuni MMO and its the same way, so MMOs havent changed much in that aspect. Im level 63 and im getting 0.01% experience per kill and thats with 700% experience buff potion.

about the giants...for some reason back when I was lvl22 or something when I still haven't cleared the giant demian quest I saw 2 or 3 giant demians at once, and their respawn rate was...kind of crazy, taking 2-3 mins or something.

The original upgrading method was actually done using dice. Moonstones and whatever that other thing was came way way later.
Yeah, I was told so many times over when I first released this video and I apologize for the misinformation :) I was VERY young back when the game first released and I didn't seem to have any recollection of the dice. I couldn't find information about the dice in the past either, although I guess that'd make sense given the time of the internet back then 😅
So priests pr whatever that healer class, isn't the strongest DPS, tank, and healer all in one now I hope?
Ringmasters are definitely not the strongest tank or DPS, but with the changes to Merkaba (Follows the character), they are a more versatile Hit-and-run AoE character than ever. They also gain access to it at level 60 and are able to level there quite independently if they wish, thanks to Moon Beam. As for healing, they still remain to be the only healing class in the game.

Sadly Flyff Universe isn't the same as Flyff PC that was hosted by Webzen, but instead a reincarnation of how Flyff used to be with improved graphics - so you'll have to start over in there :)

hmm. hows the housing system? if i remember correctly, all my furniture and maybe a hat vanished after a while. or maybe im getting flyff confused with another game...
I actually never really paid attention to whether Flyff Universe brought the housing system. You're right on that though, you could rent furniture in the game and set them in your house, atleast in the actual Flyff game. However the housing system was kinda trivial all along, all you could get was a small square-shaped house and at best temporary furniture with miniscule stat boosts from the cash shop... or buy statless, expensive basic furniture from the housing vendor :p
Point is though, you should probably check that out yourself... and define on your own whether that's worth your time :)
@@emenalus why is the permanent, more expensive furniture more useless than the rented furniture? thats stupid
@@MegaMegajennifer There isn't permanent furniture, that's the point xD And the answer is simple: Money. Not sure if Flyff Universe would be more merciful though, assuming that they implemented or atleast will implement housing again
@@emenalus that makes even less sense. the more expensive furniture is useless and none of it stays
So I wouldn't worry your head over the housing system that the game may or may not have, unless drastic improvements have taken place :)
Sorry for the later response, for some reason the notification didn't go through!
I just created an account earlier. Bruh the nostalgia flooded me. I see my 8 years old me playing.
The feeling is unreal to come back to the game you grew up exactly the way you left it ^^
can u teach where we find quest for inventory slots?
There's not really much I can teach about inventory slot quests as there's no particular pattern :) I do have a couple tips that I can give though:
- Try and check all of the quests available to you.
If they aren't mentioned, there's none to be gained :)
- You can see the quest rewards in your quest log (Q on PC, not sure on other platforms though), and inventory slots will also be mentioned in the rewards if there are any.
- Office quests do not give inventory slots, atleast as far as I know.
Great question bud, thank you so much for asking and for watching the video

Hi. Could flyff be destroyed by any types of bots? Bots have destroyed silkroad.
Bots are probably unavoidable, but I don't believe they would be destructive to the game. Not sure though
Guys can u answer my question. Is it Flyff project M and Flyff universe the same or not?
Yes, it's the same!

@@RandomPlayIist yeah, I had a comment about that too ^^ I really don't remember much from the earliest years haha

Can't say for sure, but I think your best bet would be to open a browser within your PS4 or TV, and somehow plugging a keyboard and mouse into the device. I don't think the game has gamepad compatibility though, if you intended to play it with a PS4 entirely.
Remember that if that doesn't work out, you can also play the game on the phone :)
wow this takes me back
Back to the old ways, yo! ;)
Is the couples system not a thing anymore?
Hey mate!
This is awkward, I never got a notification for this comment... huge sorry for the EXTREMELY late response!
As far as I've seen, the couple system doesn't exist in Flyff Universe, and even at this point I haven't seen any clear indication whether they had any intention of re-releasing it. Personally, even if there was no buffs involved, I would LOVE if the system was brought back since in my opinion it has a lot of roleplay value :(

where can you locate violaet bang?
Usually specific violet monster spawns happen at the same monsters of relatively near them. So I'd be looking either near bangs in Flarine or around the bangs in Saint Morning. I think you can use flyffipedia.com too for spawn data :)

Immortal Destiny is quite similar to what I've heard about Maplestory, leveling early on is pretty quick, but at the high-end levels you're looking at weeks, even months worth of grinding just for a single level. Difference is though that Maplestory doesn't have EXP dungeons, so... progression just stays slow :p
What I can tell you about Flyff Universe is that it is indeed grindy, but as I bring up on my more recent video, questing takes a key role in progression.
Hope all of this helps, good luck with leveling
You can lock your exp if you're too concerned about your level, your choice though ^^
I personally wouldn't be too concerned about outgrowing the Comet set, the set is good to go until 60 (the 45 set is bad) and you can always pass it on once you're done with it ^^
If you wanna be an actual beefy tank and hit hard, your option would be to go for some mix of STR and STA to make yourself both hit pretty hard and withstand a beating, although you would be a hybrid and not exactly excel in either of the routes.
@@redblade5556 Get some help if possible, or do them later. Some quests are undeniably hard to solo!
Hello, is this flyff universe different than the original one? I might start playing this. And is there lot of ppl playing this?
Flyff Universe is basically a remaster built around Version 7 of the original. It has most of the features that Version 7 had while adding some that people have liked in the past and removing ones that they didn't while also offering a graphical update and some other quality of life changes.
I haven't been playing the game recently, but back when I did atleast the game was BRIMMING with players on the European side. Not sure how the situation is like now though, but I haven't gotten the impression that the game is dying or anything.
Have fun with leveling, and hope you'll be able to build yourself a nice guild group! ^^
@@emenalus yeah, btw last question does your skill points restart at level 15 when you can choose to become mage etc
@@Kingggmann Yeah they do, or atleast they did :) You can pick vagrant skills before level 15 free of worry!
So the newer regions after Darkon are not here???
This was the case back when the game first released (Mind you that this video was made back in launch!). Currently, the two old cash shop areas, Azria and Coral Island have been implemented as new maps and a continuation to the world of Madrigal, taking us now to as high of a level as 160 :) Some of the other old continuations like Shaduwar, Kaillun Grasslands and Bahara Desert are not a thing in this game though.

when does the server go out?
The expected release is around June or July, and there's also been a rumor that the Gala's japanese website said that the planned release date is on the 14th of June. Nothing's locked in though!
How is flyff universe? I used to play flyff allot. Is universe packed with peeps? Or also dead. And how is the cash shop system
I don't know when you used to play so I can't give a direct comparison, but Flyff Universe is looking really promising. The bugs the game suffers from nowadays are gone, the overpowered mechanics are balanced out and each of the jobs seem like a viable option to play :)
The game is INCREDIBLY packed, I'm playing on Mia and each channel is filled with shops and leveling spots even past 40s are still crowded. Definitely not dead :D
Like I said near the end about the cash shop, upgrade scrolls are available through it and buyers will have an edge, but unlike in Flyff they're also farmable from these new types of giants called "Violets".
@@emenalus ranger still the strongest tho?
@@henryvikingr Like I said, they're pretty balanced so it's hard to say what job is the best now ^^ and the game hasn't progressed so much that there would be a max geared player of every job to test that out. I'd honestly focus more on a job that interests you than one with presumably top DPS
Sounds promising!

As far as I'm aware, you cannot :( Playing on fullscreen makes it kinda hard to notice though, you'll get used to it!
The controls are confusing so I didn't continue playing it...
Also i immediately went to the flying ship thing. It was beautiful but confusing.
I suppose that means you're new to the game :) There's actually a setting in options where you can change your "keyboard mode" to Basic, changing the movement controls from an 8-directional into where you simply turn when you press A or D. Most people don't like the 8-directional setting as far as I'm aware, so I recommend trying that out :)
You can also hold right-click to lock the camera position when you're moving to have better control of your screen. Left-click simply drags your camera but is also affected by your movement - so use those the way you like!
