Beautiful at night with the lights shining Very good Char Kway teow love the way you eat it look like you love your food I love them all thank you for sharing very good food pork lard is the best.
I thought you forget vivo city bonquet 'char keuy teow'...its very amazing taste when i was there(2007-2011).your 5th Ang mo kio near my residency is also tasty...thanks for remind me those days...
You may wish to check out the famous corner stall Char Kway Teow at Amoy Street Food Centre. There is another one at Lor 5 Toa Payoh Food Centre called Soon Lee Fried Kway Teow and also one more at a coffeeshop at Blk 33 Upper Cross Street (near Sheng Siong Supermarket). Then there is one at Zion Road Food Centre which is the PM's favourite Char Kway Teow stall.
sometimes, i like the different textures of noodles in one mouthful. soft, smooth kway teow together with a slightly firmer and different tasting yellow noodle. but it takes the skill of the person cooking it to make it come together
Hahahahaaa..... in my opinion, i don't know if i'm bias but green lefty vege should not be a main ingredient of CKT. I like how he uses the preserved vege to make the CKT more tasty and healtier, but somehow, the pork lard does give CKT a oily and animal fat taste that a "healthy" CKT can not almost replicate. But i must say that the "healthy" CKT is better than alot of CKT you get from alot of places out there
I don"t think there is a best fried kway teow here. Taste is subjective. Do not over-hyped the stalls to pull in the crowd. It's all boils down to individual taste. There are countless fried kway teow stalls which you did not highlight them, esp, in many coffeeshops, canteens, etc, all over SG.
True, it’s all very subjective! In fact, as someone who likes cooking, I can say my own cooking of “char kway teow “ is as delicious if not better (not boasting, just saying it), besides having a generous portion at home ( I find the serving portion of most hawker to be stingy) and hygienic!!
Obviously you did not know that, just because they have the same name, does not mean that they are the same dish. The Penang Char Kway teow is a different species of Char Kway Teow than the Singaporean version. Just FYI
Thank you sir... love a good CKT mate. Great video

In terms of visuals, I though the last of the Honourable Mentions (immediately preceding number 1) was the best.
