Great video - I love the way Ted phrases why watch lovers have such a respect and fascination for those "tiny little engines" on our wrists at the end of the clip. Well done.
"the kind of people who have the money and time to stay out late on a Tuesday." Something about that sounds so sickeningly pretentious as he hops into his 911. I don't hate money, or rich kids, or Connecticut, or spoiled kids or Manhattan but why does he have to grind the whole fucking pizza into our face in the first minute.
I'm a sports car guy thru and thru, nothing Rock's my world more, in a watch, than a Hamilton Ventura. No, round faced watches for me.All my watches are triangle faced. From cheap to affordable. Never been a Rolex guy.
For a guy that owns a watch collection of this caliber he should know better than one must use them always properly secured in the wrist and not with a slack, bouncing around... that fucks up the whole movement and doesn't allow the rotor to fully perform its function...
The Submariner featured is not a 5513. It's definitely a 5 digit series since it has a crown guard. 2 lines, probably a 14060. Maybe he found the watch advertised as "the original James Bond" and bought it on eBay. Sounds like a douchy thing he might do. Nevertheless, the 14060 is a great Rolex anyway!
Love this guy. Sounds like a good guy, loving the finer things in life too. Nothing wrong with that
@Mauricio Weston you're right, no one cares

I love an eclectic collection. Sick of these "well I always wanted a Rolex now I gots 100 of 'em" kind of collectors.
Incredible series and I just loved it when the Autodromo was shown!!
Thanks so much!
Great video. Love Petrolicious.
Great cars and great watches go hand in hand.
I really miss these type of videos!!
Don’t know alot about the watch collector scene, but not surprised to see Car guy Ted also so passionate about these watches too.
Really nicely edited storytelling - keep them these coming! that makes me want to buy a vintage watch!
already a huge fan of this guy and Petrolicious. But amazing editing and video altogether!
Very well done and edited. Ted's a good guy!

Thanks! Glad you guys liked it! Stay tuned, many more to come.
"All these infinitesimal measurements: Newton meters". Ok then.
hahaha this guy knows his stuff right here
Nice Series. Something was indeed off with the Sub tick, I assume the video was slowed?
Agentxphile well, look at 7:24, watches are going backwards :D
Sigh... okay, adding you to my subscription list. Love Petro
Meant to say love Petrolicious. Your review was very much in that style. Excellent story. Glad I can actually afford at least ONE of these watches
Really enjoying this series!!

Thanks! Stay tuned for more.
What's the exact model Seiko diver that he references as must have please.
Many thanks for all these wonderful videos hope to see and meet you in Munich anytime stay health Peter Mai
Loving this series gents! Cheers!
Rolex Submariner "You can do anything with it and is the most imitated"
Blancpain Fifty Fathoms "You imitated me"
"what time is it? no...metaphorically!"
Nice series, nice collection! I like the nato strap on the Seiko. Where did you get it?

It’s like magic. Every guy that gets money gets into Porsches and Rolex
2:00 almost in gear there. Give the throttle a lil blip
Like seeing young guys taking up Watch collecting - in an age when the time is displayed on everyone's phone
They are built to keep the best time
Bulletproof!
never seen a 5513 with such applied hour markers . Is it by any chance aftermarket ? Which year was this Produced?🤔
Nishit Soni hour markers with wg on the last 5513 years 1984-89.
I had the 116520 Daytona but recently sold it. It's an ok watch but there are others to be had that speak way more and cost way less.
Like what do you recommend?
The Submariner sweep was pretty terrible.
It looked like it was shot in slow motion, making the 8 beats per second more evident.
Hey! The editor slowed it down, if you look closely on the GMT shot it's in reverse. No biggie, watches work perfectly.
It was like a quartz ! Awful !
Great series ! Complements my talking watches addiction
That friend is presumably Jared Kushner 1:04

Never been a Rolex guy.
This watch needs an overhaul, it runs like a Quarz.....
man i do like that martini coloured nato strap

I saw the Rolex miles away. Kind of get turned off but then sees other brands like Seiko. I click like.
@4:41 what's the watch in the middle ? the one with the black strap ?
Fazri Rachman Autodromo Prototipo. They doesn't produce it anymore
Yest
This guy is sickeningly pretentious
nope if he apreciates SKX that much
He makes out with his hair.
I have yet to find a "vintage" SKX, though...
His watch collect is cool and it is not made up of $50,000 watches that nobody can actually own.
Good point.

Lol... nobody knows... you don’t know sh*t. That’s a 5513.
That’s a fake Rolex . I am a Rolex collector and that is a fake!!!!
why?
Look at the seconds hand. It ticks, its supposed to sweep smoothly.
Rolex...snore.
