Plant Tour (200+ PLANTS) Part 2!! Office Space + Greenhouse Cabinet

- This space has windows that face south, so it gets a good amount of light, especially in the winter. I will be moving quite a few of my outdoor plants from part one (watch here: • HOUSEPLANT TOUR 200+ P... ) into this room when the temps drop consistently below 50ºF, usually in October.
The greenhouse cabinet is from Amazon. I love using it for smaller plants and propagations. I have an Ikea Milsbo I'm currently setting up, so content on that will be coming soon.

Great plant collection. Where did you get your monsteras (albo and Thai)
Oh my gosh, you have started off with a bang, I can not wait to see this one grow for you, I found one on Peace love and happiness club, but I’m going to wait and see if the price comes down on this particular Ficus, so so beautiful 💚💚💚
Very beautiful 💚
Which cabinet is that !!? I absolutely LOVE IT !!& a nice switch up from what everyone else has♥️ lmk where to find one? Thank youu
It's on Amazon here: amzn.to/3SwcAaa
Gorgeous! I’ve been trying to root a variegated hoya compacta for FOUR months haha. It even has new leaf growth but no roots. Its currently in my ikea cabinet with 80% humidity and it’s in some moss/perlite.
Mine has roots after about a week in leca! Wouldn't hurt to switch it over to see if that gets it going. 😀
@@houseplusplant I think I might do that! After this long haha
I’ll update ya
@@PaperTerrace im nosy! did you have luck with the leca? :)
Is that what those little dots are? Spider mite bites???
Beautiful! What is your criteria for what you put into your cabinet? How do you decide who gets to live there? Thank you!
I usually choose my smaller more rare plants that I want to grow faster, alocasia are always happier in there, and then propagations because they root faster
That is alcosia maharani
The Alocasia is a Alocasia Maharani.
Ah yes, thank you!
💚
Can't wait for part 3!! A question, one of the plants you said might have spider mites, don't you worry they will spread to others in the room? I just freak out if I think I might have them. Maybe I'm overreacting? I hope, I hope!! Thanks! Just love your plants!! (You're a bad influence, tho! LOL)
I’m currently treating it and others in this room have them as well. I don’t really stress about them because I’m able to keep them under control
@@houseplusplant how do you treat, if you don't mind me asking. Thank you so much in advance.
I prefer to use insecticidal soap 2x a week for a month.
@@houseplusplant thanks so m7ch for the information!
Where did you get your gorgeous propagation pots that are hanging on the wall of the windowsill in your office?? Lovely 🥰
They’re from Modern Botanical
Where did you purchase your tineke tree?🥰
From a local greenhouse
Your Alocasia looks like a Maharani
youre right!
I think the one you thought was alocasia black velvet is actually an alocasia Melo. would love to get one of those!
You’re right!!
It's not, this is the Alocasia maharani. The melo looks different to this.
I'm so scared to touch my plants
So many beautiful plants, Samantha! I’m all over the Hoyas rn. 🪴🪴🪴 Your monstera is awesome! I’m afraid mine will take over my studio apartment in a year or two 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh goodness so many more Hoyas to come! Part three will show most of them
@@houseplusplant I’m ready to add the the never ending wishlist 😂😂😂
