Lopez is supposed to announce Sunday or Monday if Bogota will be on a 14 day straight lock-down coming off a
4 day lock-down,I hope the people of Bogota revolt because this is way beyond ridicules now
@Nature hunter you know big tech will end up deleting this. I agree with you.
Thank you. Keep updating us. I wanna travel there as soon as is reasonable
Great honest update. We can always count on you for real information on Colombia. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much, we appreciate the kind words!
Stay safe!
That really nice and boy right on time. thanks
I arrived April 13. I had both my vaccines. I don't mind the lockdowns. I am still able to get out every day. I was in El Poblado the first week. I arrived in Laureles a few days ago. Beautiful country. It is still less expensive in Medellín than anywhere in US.
Thank you so much for sharing this update... stay safe and well guys!
Yeah right now its not good it getting bad now thank you guys again ☮️🕊️☮️ 🤑💰
Thank you both so much for updating us. I’m waiting & planning at the same time. Would like to travel in a few months time so I hope the situation improves. All the best to you both.
I am currently in medellin. It is pretty bad right now here, 3 days full curfew(thurs-sat) and 4 days curfew at 8pm.
updated info, thanks!
Awesome video guys! Definitely helped us decide whether to go for Medellin to do a scholarship program... appreciate it! Hopefully the next month it will change

Love u guys. Excellent channel, great content
Thank u they were informative nice
I arrived in Colombia earlier this month on Easter Weekend. I am with my wife's family in Cucuta. There are fewer cases here and the Curfew is not as strict.
I am going to stay updated with the current situation that may affect my future plans.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
Thanks for the update, Sam and Tacha! Stay safe! 🙏
Thanks you too!
Much needed update just save me alot of $ I appreciate them
that was great information guys and just in time. I am planning my move to Colombia in Sept so hopefully the population has received the vaccine. Once again, great podcast.
Glad it was helpful. Best of luck with your move!
Not everyone wants that vaccine!! Why are ppl keep pushing this thing as if it will help. The best it will do is give a " quick fix"😐
The Transmilenio is packed everyday...
Very interesting... I’m currently in itagui and it seems like the police are not enforcing the curfew at all. I’ve been outside walking the neighborhood on Friday and Saturday right past police with other people and they did not seem to care. When I went to laurelles, it was quite the opposite of itagui. There were very few people on the street and the majority of stores were closed. I’m not really sure why some restaurants and other stores are closed and some are open and the police do nothing. Anyways, thank Sam and tacha!
Thanks for sharing! Stay safe!
Thank you for the input nice work ☺️
I'm planing to go in or about december 1-20 do you know if everything will be stabilized with the protests and all?
Somethin to consider…Covid at all time now for deaths and new daily cases in Colombia!…as of June 16
cases have increased (7) times that of 3 mo.s ago.
Do you still need to test if you are fully vaccinated
Informational video. Sounds like a prison. I used to live in Cartagena, the economy there now is completely destroyed. I live in Northern Florida, no mask on the street, masks are optional in stores and no problems here. How many deaths are there actually from the virus?
It would be interesting to know about the rules for tourists, who are already vaccined and can proof this.
i am in Cartenaga..
Curfew was 12 midnight it's now..
10 pm.
Police are very fair. It's light enforcement.
ID card again ..not so strict.
Beach is closed at 2 pm
I leave soon ..it looks like things are changing quickly .. So it's a bit risky..
the rules can change at very short notice..
I think it will be like this a long time.. because Vaccination in Colombia is slow..
Now you know. How is police state work
I know only one person who has gotten seriously ill from the Sniffles. 🤡
Where, what cities are the current tax/health care protests/riots ongoing?
Yep, here now in Medellin and experiencing the lockdown and curfews
Thanks for the update, it is much appreciated!
thank you! for updating us
This video was a huge coincidence. Do you know what documents I would have to fill out in order to visit colombia? I been get the fun around with the air port nobody knows anything sadly. Please help 😁
I left Cartagena 2 weeks ago and it was a great time. No Pico de secular but definitely a curfew. You can still enjoy yourself so don't be discouraged. For the serious travelers out there you can Adapt and overcome in Cartagena.
Also don't forget to fill out the online immigration forms 24hrs before traveling to Colombia. Don't wait until you get to the airport, sometimes the website can have issues the day of your travel and you will not be allowed to board your flight without it.
Yeah I'm here now but I'm still doing the best of the situation
That's the spirit!
Wow we are here also, we definitely did not know it was lock down 🤪 but trying to make the best of it .
I'm sad and a little bit frustrated when seeing this even over one year now😷 I'm booked for first trip to Medellin end of June so praying its better by then, fingers crossed🤞🙏
It really is frustrating, but there's nothing we can do. Let's hope this is over soon🤞
*Hi guy's I'm kinda enjoying the 6 o'clock curfew here in Pereira the streets calms down to a trickle, but all in all other than wearing the face mask when outside there's no other restrictions here, waiting for my appointment soon for my covid injection, life's still good here living in Colombia!* 🌴😎👍
Love that you still see the positive aspects even in the current situation!
Sending you best wishes to Pereira!
@@HowToExpat *Thanks!* 🌴👍
Hey boss, do you know what online documents I need to fill out in on my way to pereira in a few weeks
Great job
Thanks for the update!
I am planning on coming down for a week in early December, hopefully this will be over by then.
When people figure of the true purpose of Covid, they are literally going to lose rheir minds. Things are not what they seem. Ask yourself "Why?"...
I mean... I've been staring at the same walls at home for a year. I have food delivered most of the time in L.A. I know every place here and until things are normal... this place is boring to me. I arrive on Saturday and have an apartment for a month in Laureles and I'll make the best of it. I think it helps that I speak, read, write Spanish fluently too. :)
Thanks for sharing.
great content i agree with you to wait to travel im from Canada if i travel outside my country no health insurance until things get better . that could be scary if i was to get sick or hurt
on weekends u can go out for 1 hour????? means during weekdays u have to stay in??? what the .... is this really happening over there in medellin?
That's not what we said... On weekdays you can go out normal until 8 PM this is when the curfew starts. Friday, Saturday and Sunday you have to stay home.
How you enjoy you police state city?
are the gyms open ? Do the stores still spray people with disinfectant (yuck). Thanks for the honest video and wishing you the best.
Yes, the gyms are open, but you have to do your workout with the mask on. And no, thank god they stopped spraying us down with disinfectant lol
@@HowToExpat sounds reasonable. thanks !!
Thank you guys for your content.. I had to move my trip from April to June and now am just canceling it for this Yr. Hopefully next yr it will be better. Its better to be Safe than Sorry..Thank you guys.. 😊
You guys are always very helpful. I've been vaccinated and would love to visit Medellin now, but it doesn't sound advisable with the restrictions and curfews. Hopefully soon. Best wishes to you guys.
I was in Bogota this past December and it was great. Folks were masked and social distancing protocols were adhered to, yet we were able to go out into town and enjoy ourselves. Was supposed to have flown down again in May, but pushing it to the right until this latest flare-up begins to stabilize. Luckily, I've got my second Pfizer shot, so I'm fully vaccinated (although I'll still have to get the PCR test in order to fly back down).
Great update, I live in Bogota. I'm from the USA and have been here for 6+ months. Your channel is awesome.
How is June looking for Medellin? Is it a good time ?
There's no way we could know that.
@@HowToExpat, too early, right? I am planning to visit Colombia for the whole month in June. Please keep us posted.
@@guillaumefrancois3942 Yes, do it there will be some inconveniences but in difficult times this is when humans can be at their best.
@@erichaynes7502, what are you really insinuating when you wrote that "in difficult times this is when humans can be at their best?" I would think it's the other way around.
@@guillaumefrancois3942 It's both. During the easy times people become selfish and distant but when a crisis happens like this they cooperate more.
Wow u are like in a jail . Hope u dont lose your mind
I plan to visit in July for 1 month.
Same in valledupar
In Alabama we still wearing mask.
I'm Colombian living in Hoover area, big box stores nor bother me. Only small stores. Like the laundry room ,hair salon. Masks doesn't work. How funny CDC CHANGE RULES FOR THE DEMOCRATS.
Thank you so much for this video I found it very helpful as I was planning on visiting within the next 2 weeks. I will look for further updates as to the situation as it pertains to Covid 19 shut downs.
Glad it was helpful! We will keep you updated about the situation here.
Stay safe!
Really miss you guys. We are American and just landed in Panama today, it is more open then Colombia. We hope to come visit in early 2022, hopefully back to normal life by then. Take care you guys

Покажите город , покажите населённый пункт, улицы, заводы, комбинаты, цеха производства,
I agree traveling is just a no go right now outside of the country.
pretty ignorant to travel to a country during a pandemic and not bother to see how they are dealing with it lol
I was able to enter Bolivia last week, with a neg. covid test& health ins
How is it in Bolivia ?
@@malcolmjordan6775 I loved Santa Cruz!! It's not very expensive, weather is very nice, locals are very friendly
@@keithrichard391 sounds good. I definitely need to check it out.
