@@ladymagic10 I know your comment is old and you didn't ask me this question, but she said what resin she uses at the timestamp of 2:48 if you're still wondering ☺.
I noticed that in the corners of your domino's, there are some bubbles that made it look like the corners are chipped. The way I stop that from happening is to take a makeup brush, dip it lightly into baby powder, lightly coat every part of the mold and then tap it once or twice to get the excess powder out. Then pour the resin, and spray a light mist of alcohol over the top part. It COMPLETELY stops that error from happening ♥️
Im having lots of bubble holes in the corners and its driving me crazy, so using baby powder in the mold works first? doesnt it attach to the resin? HELP ME PLEASE!!!
@@emilyadanet3646 OMG! YES! I made a full set yesterday and was very disappointed to find micro holes in the sides of my dominos, and had to throw away 14 dominoes that came out sticky to the touch. I am viewing as many resin videos I can, to perfect my sets. I wish you lots of luck as well.
Baby those colors are soooo beautiful!!!! I love the way they have turned out. I would love to see them on a table all ready to play. There so pretty you don't even want to play with them. Just for decoration
Hey love I'm new to your channel an I must say I love them so much. Thank you sharing how you do them an I been looking to do some myself I just want to get some more watch time in tutorials on how and what products to use for them I have so many ideas that I want to put on display and you are one of the persons that I come across so far that I am going to check your work out more so thank you for the helpful information I hope to see more ❤❤❤❤
These are gorgeous! You’ve inspired me to give it a try. I just have a couple questions. 1. I see you’re pouring the resin out of cups, do you think it would be easier on a beginner to put the resin in one of those squirt jars? 2. What sanding pad do you use? 3. If you make these for a guy and they don’t want the rhinestone what would you personally use to make the dots stand out? Paint pen? Acrylic paint? I appreciate your thoughts!! Thank you 💕
Thank you! -You can use squirt bottles, it’s still messy in my opinion. -I use different sand pads but like to stay in the 200 grit size. -I would just use regular acrylic paint. You can use a dotting tool to apply it or a paint brush also.
They look awesome!! I have a domino mold and I usually fill up a cavity or two when I have leftover epoxy lol I haven’t done a whole set yet! But thanks for sharing the amount you need, I might just have to make a full set finally lol 😆 ❤️
I enjoyed your video on making dominos more than all the other tutorials I have watched on UA-cam. I am not new to working with resins and I have created jewelry, magnets, keychains and among several other things and have added my own dried flowers and all kinds of other materials; well getting back to your video and the reason for finding it so well done is your straight forward instructions from beginning to end, although I found some videos very entertaining I was not wanting to have to watch and listen for well over 30+ minutes to be sure I knew exactly what I was doing before making a domino set for my husband’s birthday gift using the colors of Harley Davidson’s orange and black (not my fav colors). So seeing the process of your using 2 colors and the fact that I was wanting to add rhinestones instead of coloring in the dots watching your video was as if you were personally teaching me exactly what I needed to do and how to do it along with the specific materials you wanted me to use so that I would be happy with my results. Thank you so much now wish me luck that I can create the most dazzling dominoes such as yours. I have never left a comment before but I really hope you get this to tell you your video is very much appreciated. From CeCe
These are so pretty. I ordered some from someone as a Christmas gift and they didn't turn out how I thought. They didn't take the time and care that you did so I have ordered my own molds to make my own and give the person another set. Now that I have watched your video I am going to make myself some with rhinestones bcz 😍
This video was great! I do have a few questions and clarifications. Once you sand the edges they look dull... Is there a step in between to make it Shiney or will the second coat of resin do that for you? Once the second back layer of resin is cured, they look Shiney and pretty but not completely flat with some rises and and falls especially around the edges, is that normal and expected? Thanks for any info!
I love this video of your work! can you please share how to not get micro holes in the dominos? I measured accurately 1:1 ratio, and stirred resin for 2-3 minutes, before pouring it into molds.
@@crissycreatesofficial How did your dominoes come out so shiny was it from the alcohol you sprayed on the mold or is it just the brand of resin you used(your dominoes are really cool ❤️btw)

Thanks so much for sharing..... really love your dominos. Ive been looking for your rhinestone applicator and cannot find it. Please post the link so i can order. thanks again
OMG, thank you for this video! I've been wanting to make a domino set for my mom for Christmas but I've never been able to find the finishing steps on making resin items in molds! I will definitely be trying this! Would you mind sharing what markers you used for this? I couldn't find in your Amazon store link. Thanks again!
I love how they came out. I'm going to make my first set today. Question, how do you store them? I wonder if I can find something on amazon (box) to store them. Thanks for the video ❤
Do you wear a mask when pouring? I was going to do this in my garage for better ventilation but it's now 30° farenheit and I'm worried about the curing process in this cold.. I'm wondering if I can pour in my office and then do the sanding in my garage?
If u have to sand both the front and back do u still use the fast setting resin on both sides...just wait for 1 side to dry? I'm Having issues shining both sides after sanding
I love the start to finish and I want to try and make a set myself. But can you tell me what exactly u used as the last step on the back with the squeeze bottle and the UV light. I’ve ordered some things on Amazon to make these. Also other then glitter, for a man what kind of paint do you mix into the resin? Thanks for your time!
I have a question. When you said you need about 120 to 150mls, we're you referring to each set, or the whole order you did in this video? Sorry, if that is a dumb question, but I'm new to this! Thanks in advance!
I have a real problem when I make dominos. No matter how much time I spend making sure all the bubbles are gone, I always end up with little chips out of the front of some of the dominos. Any thoughts on how to resolve that ?
Soooooooooo, I started my very first projects with the Art Resin brand Resin that I got off amazon. Everything looks very nice BUT a bit bendy. yes it has not been 24 HRS yet and I know it still takes 3 days to cure fully. my question - during this curing time could I add a layer of casting resin on top of my flat pieces to help stiffen them up? or is this going to be a bust / waste of resin that I won't be able to use :( I did a mix of dominoes, note book covers, bookmarks, trinket dishes. Help!!!!
Absolutely beautiful! Question: I couldn't see from the video. With the rhinestones do the dominoes lay flat? Or do the rhinestones come out a little? Thank you for the video.
I see there was a mistake with my time stamps. The first is 8:40 and second is 16:50 I apologize for that. Hope you enjoy the video🙏🏼❤️
I sure did.. Thanks ❤
What is the name of the UV resin used. I tried going to ur Amazon store it just sent me to resins pens
