I got rebaptized and then back when I used to hear from God..I had the Holy ghost but feel I seriously mess up. Why me ofr my generation blinded and out here in sins and my temple defile when my parents are both saved and not this way at all ...I want to be restored and not this way running back or sin after the Holy ghost. This sick. I feel given over please pray

Yesterday I went for my hair appt. My hairdresser uses her salon as a place to share the word of christ and minister to her patrons and drop a mustard seed. She makes me feel the weight of this world drop away. So on my way to work this morning in my talk with christ I asked him to show me what I need to see. This video is the 1st one that came up. Not only your message about things that are not necessarily a sin but it pulls you away hit home. But also learning how to begin a bible study. I will be seeking out the group within my church or community and listening to you more to learn what I need to be closer to christ. Now I need to shop for a new journal to begin

Sometimes I think about how Jesus gave up HIS LIFE for us, and still sometimes I cant seem to give up one small thing that doesn't even matter in eternity. It's so true how sin gets you entangled. I feel like no matter how much I try, some of satan will still be left on me even after forgiveness, but this is not true, because Jesus's blood covers all my sins. Thanks again! Love from Oklahoma ❤

Its referring to the saints, whose examples are visible but we cannot touch those who came bofore us. I highly suggest to every devout Christian to spend just one year of their time learning basic Koine Greek for the purposes of studying the original language. It's changed my life and my reading of scripture

Just a thought adding onto to what you said at time stamp 6:06 going forward: To be entangled means to be held together and HELD BACK by someone/something. What in our lives are we allowing to "hold us together" and hold us back from going after and all in for Jesus? Just thought to share!😊

That is a great question! I think depending on who you ask, you could get a different response. When it comes to Bible translation there are 3 different types: word for word translations, thought for thought translations, and then paraphrases. The ESV is a word for word, so that would be DEFINITELY be ideal for every day study (same with NASB translation) and especially good for in depth study. In Bible college, typically teachers will use ESV (if not the original Greek or Hebrew)... When in comes to NIV, it is a thought for thought translation- so it isn't the most ideal for IN DEPTH study... however, for every day regular reading, in my opinion, it is okay! I find that NIV is more understandable than ESV- and sometimes, that extra boost of confidence is helpful to make us feel motivated to read.
I was wondering the same thing. I am much older than all of you (Eeek). I just ordered an ESV Study Bible from Amazon, it will be here tomorrow. I am so excited! God Bless You All.❤
