Imagine if they added the attachment option to melee weapons like grip they could do one that changes the quick slash into a thrust to increase range or a skeletonized handle to o increase movement but slash at a shorter range, and change the blade size and if the blade gets longer, you get heavier and slower?

CoD needs to give melee players more love by adding some personal weapon perk type things like lightweight, faster melee or commando.
That would definitely make up for the lack of attachments.

Having watched some of your vids I built a knife loadout last night for the very first time ever playing CoD. I was, at first, predictably shite as I hadn't figured out the best routes around the maps. Once I, sort of, got the hang of it I had a real blast. It's annoying as fuck to a lot of players but funny as hell :) It's just a game, right?
Yup and people fuckin HATE knives which makes it all the funnier when you kill them and hear them complain it's like dude you have a gun why complain when you have a literal advantage over knives.

No, a lot slower. The karambit gives you the most speed but I personally use the gutter knife
