- Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the Singapore Symphony Group has put out a music video every August featuring one of our beloved national songs to bolster spirits and bring the nation together.
This year, the SSG’s national song music video puts the spotlight on Cultural Medallion recipient Dick Lee’s Home, which is beautifully orchestrated by another Cultural Medallion recipient, Dr. Kelly Tang.
Young musicians from the Singapore National Youth Orchestra perform alongside professional musicians of the SSO in this video, which showcases musical excellence across generations of musicians in Singapore. This project is presented by the @TemasekFoundation

When music unites us so well, no war hostilities could ever keep us apart anymore, now that we have web connection it means, we have to stay united like a nice global family, we have to behave like siblings, murdering each other will bring nothing good, it's only a shameful waste of time, let's enjoy to paaaarty and feeling just fine together, this is a very good point for a start, the music is just puuuurrfect friends, Happy National Day Singapore and a thousand years more from now on
