"coming this summer, two greyish inoffensive blobs have bland civil interactions with each other." Don't miss it!

TerminalMontage already did that years ago.
@@jacobmatthews7524 black-ish is kinda funny as a tv show atleast
Remember the Fairly Oddparents episode where everyone was a gray blob so Timmy's wishes couldn't be granted because he was just like everyone else?
What a lesson we've learned...
"I have no strong feelings one way or the other"
"This thing" became so big because companies need credit lines and these credit lines are tied to ESG/DIE-demands. HR is the the key department to implement DEI.
And your taxes are funding these initiatives.
Meanwhile costs continue to go up because they are hiring incompetents and then releasing 'content' no one wants to consume.
@@Slitheringpeanut So are "ethical pension funds". The people who want ESG, such as Larry Fink, are spending pension fund money to get their way. Folks need to dump those so-called "ethical" funds. The real problem is that fund managers like Blackrock got so huge that they can buy Hollywood with couch change and use it to bash the public with their social agenda. Hollywood now makes propaganda films and they are about as good as Soviet committee propaganda movies. For example, Madame Web is a film made by a committee and it's cringeworthy.
Considering how HR functions as a secret police where employees can inform on one another
@@jjhh320 You are so right! HR departments are mostly the KGB now. Any spontaneous creative thought needs to be delayed so you can think out the possible ramifications to your own career.
I thought maybe the A stood for "Apartheid", since that's what these policies impose.

@@Mouse_Metalexcept nobody is mentioning anywhere any stereotypes attached to people of the fairer skinned persuasion. It’s anything goes if you want to stereotype them lol.
They just need to keep adding letters so we can arrive at JUSTFCKINGDIE
Thanks for exposing this stuff, guys. The more light that gets put on it, the more people will find it weird, repulsive, and untenable.
How much longer can studios continue to produce money losing content until there's a change in leadership? Even Apple and Amazon don't have unlimited resources, and Disney for sure can no longer afford it!
This is what happens when Blackrock, Vanguard and Statestreet own most of the shares of the big media companies. It's called ESG. They will ultimately lose money. It will take time, but new private media companies will arise from the indie film makers.
Could be a great racket. Force a company to make decisions that ruin the business, short the shares to 0, rinse and repeat
Just like gentrification: recycling, but with property.
Then again, those indie companies will fall into the same morass as their ancient predecessors. Remember, all studios were independent once.
Amidst all the chaos, independent films are the light at the end of the tunnel. More about the art of good writing and storytelling; less about checking boxes.
@@Theomitethat’s a problem for gen Z. We need this problem taken care of NOW
@@RedactedbyNecessityyes I think they are shorting all of Western culture though. The plan is for the entire structure to collapse and for something else to take its place; the UN, EU, China, or something like that. Something undemocratic.

"Why earn power, wealth, and status in this industry through merit when I can simply change the rules so that I'm guaranteed all of the above without having to earn it at all?"
Most people do not earn anything in Hollywood via merit. They earn money from networking, popularity and perhaps a bit of nepotism(sometimes). Social capital is important there. Beauty is important. How many instagram followers you have is important. Who you know is more important than WHAT you know. Etc. That is show *business*, not a meritocracy.
Why do you think the writers guild or SAG doesnt want VFX artists to unionize(or atleast: they will make sure they never do)?
Because the fancy people would get payed less for playing make believe while applying "creative accounting practices" to their finances.
There are people in Hollywood who get payed for 3 hours(of "work") an amount that is more than what someone at the national poverty line will make in an entire year(and all of those normies do something essential probably, unlike getting payed absurd amounts of money to play make believe with their friends...).
Yeah...
Silence of the Lambs won all the top Oscars. One of only two films to do so. Ironic that a work of such acclaimed cinematic art is now probably viewed as outdated by modern standards.
Even more ironic considering there´s a strong female protagonist and a tr4ns representation in that movie.
Silence of the Lambs was even partly inspired by a real case, namely Ed Gein, a cannibal/necrophiliac guy who dug up female corpses to create a body suit for him to wear. Gein inspired many, many movies, most notably Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, but those movies couldn't be made today because it might make transgender weirdo's mad. Nope, we can only show minorities and underrepresented communities in a positive light.
It's also objectionable to the body positivity crowd. Remember, the transsexual bad guy targeted larger women for the very practical reason that he could make a skin suit big enough to fit him.
@@Mouse_Metal
Not ironic.
The tr4ns representation in "Silence of the Lambs" is of a villain.
And as the current zeitgeist demands, tr4ns are magical and wonderful and good and glorious and beautiful and without sin.
It made psychos look bad.
Thanks for having a real writer on. We need to hear from the people on the front lines.
Also, one of the ways you can tell any document is written by clueless hacks that can't defend their own position is when they say, "Research shows that...", without ever citing the research they are claiming exists.
People with no talent should never be allowed to dictate creativity to artist with talent
This destroys the blank page. The imagination. Before you've written a word you are hamstrung by a zillion little obstacles.
"If these rules are followed, the industry will be destroyed".
Good.
I've been watching more media from Europe and Asia for 7+ years now.
Hollywood was already "losing the plot" (ba dum tiss) even before DEI(A?) became an official policy.
I'm not convinced I'll notice when Hollywood fails en masse.
Blame the finance industry - the banksters won't provide funding if you don't meet these DEIX requirements
The funding is only needed BECAUSE the film-makers choose to infect thier movies with w0keness.
Yeah and they have also another surprise for us in three plus three years in the future.
That is the stranglehold that they have on the whole world! So many different industries having to bend the knee just to stay afloat! 🤬🤬🤬
"Banksters," oy vey.
Remember when in Robocop 2 after they fixed him? they added so many directives he couldn't function? Ended up electrocuting himself to clear it? This what's happening here.....
It’s just like the alphabet gang - more letters will continue to be added and no one will care. 😂
Nah, the general disdain and derision outside of the echo chamber doesn't get the result it does anywhere else.
Instead of accepting the overwhelming feedback or at least acknowledging it you add a letter. As, the alternative is to accept your idea/ideology might be foolish.
LGB is slightly different. After those three, which describe, to be crude for brevity's sake, preference. The letters stop describing preference and go wherever. Also as above, add another letter so the masses accept your idiotology.
The opposition will only be made to shut up for so long.
No,one cars except the banks giving companies money based on their score. We may not care but it effects all of us. Just speaking facts here.
This all explains why so many newer movies and tv series are bad, even gaming right now. Most people I know are all embracing the older films. They are just have a level of production that is beyond anything out now. Even some 90s tv shows like X-Files (which I first saw in the year 2018) is just so much more advanced on nearly every level than a modern day film release from one of those strange studios that love losing money.
That's why I love reaction channels. Seeing young people experience real shit--especially 70s films--is a hoot.
The weird thing to me is the WGA and SAG were created to fight against just this type of corporatization of movies and TV shows. Now they're the ones pushing FOR it.
Power and authority always attracts sociopaths.
The end result-and perhaps end goal-of all unions. Keep giving the unions more power over the industry, and eventually they _become_ the industry.
Punish the companies who promote this by not supporting their filth.
Not hard, the films aren't worth watching.
I agree. But I also think we should step in and create better films, taking the gap in the market. People will respond. @@ruthohare9840

Bureaucrats and commissars will then invent feedback loops to expand their remit and power.
There's a Greek myth about a monster named Procrustes, who offered lodging to travelers. However, he only had one bed in his inn, and if the guest did not fit the bed because they were too short, they would be stretched mercilessly until they were the exact length of the mattress. And if they were too tall, parts of their body would get removed so that they were once again a perfect fit. His standards were so exact that no person was spared from a slow and painful deletion at the hands of this cruel villain, all so that they fit into his needs.
Based Theseus took care of him, though. This guy was somehow one of the creepier villains in Greek mythology. At least he was to 10 yo me.

I call it "spreadsheet syndrome", someone who sits in an office looking at spreadsheets all day comes up with new rules that they think will push a certain number on the spreadsheet in the right direction without having any idea of how the job is actually done and the myriad of unintended consequences their new rules will have. It gets tried for a while because nobody ever listens to the people who actually do the work, it backfires spectacularly and it gets walked back silently because apologizing is not in the job description of the spreadsheet master.

This is so true. Policy is made by some bureaucrat somewhere up in the ivory tower who has no actual real life experience. It all looks good on paper but rarely works in reality. It is all top down management which is very common in Europe. Most European countries are socialist and the socialist mentality extends into the business culture. Problems are reported which then move up the management chain, decisions are made at the top, and policies trickle back down to the work floor. The process takes months and usually doesn't work. Unfortunately, this same management style is now infecting US business culture.
When I can tell they’re pushing race and gender in a movie I’m done within ten minutes.
This is exactly why I have no remorse at all for pirating most things from Hollywood.

It's a messed up IDEA.
I used to live in China, and for YEARS i searched for great Chinese cinema. It does NOT exist. Cinema in China is AWFUL (even the Chinese complain about it, every Chinese person I knew had no interest in film because it was simply an uninteresting medium in their country). Even the movies that somehow get popular in/outside of China are really not that great. They are shiny and pretty and have wire-fu...but simply aren't good.(I will die on the hill that crouching tiger, hidden dragon was a mess of a film despite it's beautiful scenery and fight scenes). The reason this happens is because no film can get made in China if it does not conform to the ideology of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). They control how everything is portrayed down to every last detail so as not to offend the party. The result is that scripts are a mess, dialogue is little more than characters saying what they are doing or explaining their motivations so nobody can misinterpret them as something offensive to the CCP...it's BAD. It's absolutely SHOCKING to see this happen in a free society where, ostensibly, we can say and write whatever we want. I'm not enjoying seeing communist tactics applied to free democratic societies. But here's my bigger question: Where is the COMPETITION. I don't blame liberal hollywood for going insane, that's what they do. I blame people who AREN'T ideologues for letting it happen. Why isn't ANYONE trying to compete and make movies OUTSIDE of the WGA/Hollywood system? Start new film festivals and awards shows, make new deals with movie theater companies(I'm sure they are desperate for them). Hollywood is only getting away with this because they have a monopoly on media.
We ARE trying. But with the threshold for the big leagues so high, we're under the radar. We're out there, but you have to find us.
Imagine a world without Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein.

This is one of the reasons why I’ve gone and created my own studio. I don’t know how I’d be able to make a film with all of these rules in place. With my studio, I’m able to, and more importantly, tell the stories that I want to be told. I find it to be liberating in that sense, to be honest
It'll grow for sure, people want to be able to work without zealots interfering with everything

Big Tech should not be in charge of Movies or TV. They don't understand narrative or storytelling.
The self destruction of these companies creates a vacuum that can be filled by up and coming production companies that can fill the void.
Human Resources has gotten so out of control over the last decade. Everyone worries about cops abusing their power but no one seems to realize how much power HR has to destroy lives. They need to be regulated just as much as police do.
HR exists thanks to excessive regulation. How about you just get rid of the regulation instead of making the tangled web even more tangled and stop putting the burden on the employer to police interactions between employees?
☝🙄☝@@GutsofEclipse Yep, this.
But without regulations, how will the regulators regulate the regulations that the regulators regulate?
Look at the rules for "For Native or Indigenous characters".......that's future movies like "Dances With Wolves" and "Last Of The Mohicans" gone from the industry already.
natives must not be native in any way
In the arts you have the right to work with whom you choose. Any institution dictating who you work with, and HOW you work is antithetical to the creative process.
This stuff is also hurting the future of filmmaking. I'd love to tell stories in some capacity, but all these rules make me apprehensive. How many young men and women that could’ve become the next legendary filmmaker or writer are being discouraged and turned away by the rules, never to return. This policing is killing art today and potential art tomorrow.
u gotta be independent, start your own thing, and if enough people do that, we'll have new enterprises popping up everywhere and growing, you'll have no shortage of non-woke employees
all these new rules feel like they're meant to do one thing: single out the "problematic" individuals and find any excuses to get rid of them.
Just replace the word problematic with talented. (For everyone reading between the lines.)
The big takeaway is that even those who weren't aware a few years ago are very aware of it now, and no one likes it and the majority sees it for what it is, veiled racism.
But really, it's the best case of corporate espionage that we've ever seen in the history of corporations.
This is why I always advocate for owning physical media with the caveat of doing so within your means. If you have the meansto do so, throw watch parties for your friends etc. when people aren’t watching these deia movies and the studios lose money, eventually the bus will turn around. Sure there are those people who’ll scream (insert popular ist and phobe word here) as they blame the ‘toxic’ fanbase, but remember my fellow fans. We always have the right to turn the channel or hit the power button and shut the noise off.
Edit: remember to support Cris, Alan, and all the others who stand up against this nonsense.
Doing so within our means is increasingly easier as folks unload their physical media at garage sales, flea markets, etc.
Where do you think the laundered ukraine money goes? They wont run out as long as the usa keeps writing checks.
5:10 Yeah, everyone always talks about how Blazing Saddles couldn't be made today. But they don't realize The Silence of the Lambs would never get made either. And for that matter, neither would Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. And the movie it spoofs, The Crying Game, might not get made either. It's actually a very positive portrayal of a trans character, but the scene where we find out "she's a he" and Stephen Rea's character smacks him/her and runs to the bathroom and pukes would immediately cause every studio executive to reject it.
Ffs this is like those extra directives placed into Robocop in the 2nd movie. 😂
More like part 3, the Fall of OCP.
Bring on the voltage and the hard reset!
Ain't social engineering's a bitch?!!
Especially when its wreckless and not actually compassionate..
Childhood me can't believe I am not battling the Nothing from The Neverending Story in the form of DEI!
The scary thing is very soon they'll be able to easily "update" old movies for modern audiences and apply DIE retroactively. They've already been doing it on a smaller scale, but AI will allow them to completely remove problematic elements and actors.
That is why everyone should get and keep as many physical(dvds and even VHS tapes and players)as many as they can get their hands on.
Fun fact as well, “generative” Ai is inarguably nothing but theft.
Characters are like a soul that is looking for a body to inhibit. All the better if the options are varied.
If you limit the soul merely to specifics of its physicalities then you hinder the possible capabilities of what that character can say or do.
DEI not making films better? How about DEI makes nothing better! Hiring based on race, sex and gender instead of qualifications is discrimination and makes everything worse, not just film.
Losing $billions with tons of studio layoffs will hurt. Disney moved animation to Canada because of DEI. Until more lawsuits, there’s nothing to stop them.
He probably thought he could use Justin Trudeau to get away from the angry fans.

I was told by HR once that I, as a white man, could not use the word brown in a sentence because it upsets others. That job didn't last long.
The guys who run Hollywood know how to make money. Bob Iger knows how to make money. The fact that Iger made a decision to cut Disney’s value in half, losing about $200 billion, shows that something else is at play here. The objective no longer is to make quality or profitable entertainment. The objective is to attack culture in such a way as to create more divisiveness and distract attention away from the billionaire class, controlling everything. Have people fight about bad characters and shitty movies, rather than focus on the loss of free speech, and authoritarianism in ordering people to take suicidal medical treatments or buy a car for which there will not be enough electricity to use it consistently - this is a great big distraction that Bob Iger is paid $32 million a year to be part of. Their shareholders in general, like blackrock and State Street are OK with losing their investors money. There is a much bigger agenda here. Jeff Bezos is fine letting the DEI idiots run his movie studio. He just does not want people to be thinking about the fact that 200,000 small businesses were destroyed by the lockdowns, and he was the recipient of $1 trillion that those businesses lost. Try to make a movie about that 😂
You have good cook but all you get is rotten tomatoes and maggot infested pork and green potatoes... Not even a good chef can save that...
To make a Great Film you need nearly everybody in the process to hit a home run: the actors, the director, the writers, the crew . . .
And most studios played "moneyball" - just trying to get everybody in the process to hit singles, with, maybe, a double or two. The movies that might be Oscar bait, you go for home-run actors and double/triple writers.
These rules dictate that the scriptwriter is almost guaranteed to strike out because they can't write strong characters. They require you to diversity hire minor league directors and actors. Even when some of them rise to the occasion - they're still having to perform a script crippled before the first camera rolls.
And we see the results whenever we subject ourselves to Trek or Star Wars or the M-She-U or Shazam 2 or Rings of Power or Wheel of Time or Wish . . .
Where are the adults in that industry? They're committing multi-billion dollar suicide with these stupid rules that obviously won't work.
That's the point of marxism--it destroys everything that came before it in the stupid belief that the communist utopia will rise from the ashes.
Just like in the 80s: liquidate and divest for profit. Then high-tail it to a non-extradition country where the dollar goes far and do it again.
After decades in print journalism, I can sympathize with creatives who have to follow rules created by people who have no knowledge of an industry. Twenty-five years ago, the chain I worked for was telling every newspaper in its chain -- largest in the U.S. at the time -- that they had to have focus groups to critique the newspapers. What we wound up doing was feeding pizza to a bunch of people who -- for the most part -- had no more writing experience than a poetry class in college 30 years ago. And we, as writers and editors, had to sit, listen and learn. It was pretty insulting, not to mention demoralizing. I think that idea originated in corporate HR, but I could be wrong.
Why do you think every time they push this stuff in film, pop culture, TV shows and video games they always use beloved names that have already been made? Because they know when they create anything new with this stuff in it, nobody will watch it or care for it. So they use already established names to push their stuff and still not too many watch it. This is why every time you see these injections they’re always using older beloved names. They never create anything new with this stuff in it. Because they know it would be DOA.
Part of the problem is that the industry has become totally financialized over the past 10-15 years. It is the bean counters who are making the decisions. Movies are getting very expensive to make and the investors want a return on their investment. It all comes down to risk management. Go with something that has already proven to be successful rather than take the risk on something new. That is why there are so many prequels and sequels, as well as tried and true "formulas".
When I was a kid watching cartoons, just about every other villain was a brown guy in a turban with a giant gemstone.
The only way to stop this is for people to start making movies outside the Hollywood system. Like George Lucas did. Once they start to see the money go away, they will change all these policies.
If Hollywood has this overwhelming death wish, who are we to prevent them from fulfilling their hearts desires? I’m sure the movie industries of Japan, France, India etc. will be glad to help them out.

Love that you guys are exposing this. I am an artist and I saw your video on Disney getting animators from Tumblr. This isn't new. These companies have been doing this for at least 20 years. The said on their site that you need to grow and become famous as an individual artist, and if they like what they see they'll find you and hire you. This was Gate keeping back then, and now look how Woke Marvel Comics has become.
This reminds me of the South Park episode where they’re trying to do a Christmas play about the birth of Jesus and everyone is so offended about everything. That they end up doing this soulless slam poetry-esque depression metaphor where all the kids are wearing black and spinning around while some middle aged man narrates. That’s what western cinema is going to turn into if it continues down the DEI/ “representation matters” path. It takes all the humanity and soul out of everything in order to be PC and appeal to far-left activists who are offended by everything that their whole existence is about being offended for people most of them barely have interacted with.
This is like the new Hayes Code. Only instead of serving culturally conservative and prudish interests, it serves the overactive corporate drive for political correctness.
But to the same effect: stifle creativity and the potential social change it might inspire. _Star Trek_ is great for inspiring cell phones and possible propulsion ideas, but it's also great for challenging entrenched cultural ideas and provoking examinations of the status quo and that scares people.
dei is vastly improving my reading skills appreciation of music bank balance and generally learning new stuff.
The Russians aren’t bound by such nonsense and released the first movie filmed in space on the ISS starring a Russian actress. (Sorry, Tom Cruise. The Russians beat you to it.) It’s called “The Challenge” and it’s playing in theaters all over Asia.
The Russian movie making skills can go toe to toe with Hollywood. In the story, a female Russian surgeon is sent to the ISS to do an operation in zero gravity on a cosmonaut that was injured during his spacewalk. With his collapsed lung, he’ll be unable to survive reentry without surgery. That’s what she’s sent up there to try to fix.
The film is very good. Hopefully the two of you can see it before it supposedly opens in mid April in the US. Unless Hollywood blocks it. It’s an all-white cast so it won’t be a viable candidate for any “Western” film awards.
"We appreciate the suggestion. We're not going to listen to it."
I'm sure you are aware of the time Mel Brooks brought in the executives of Paramount to view a screening of his film, "The Elephant Man." After the screening, the studio executives sent him recommendations that the more surreal scenes in the film be cut.
Brooks responded: "We screened the film to bring you up to date as to the status of that venture. Do not misconstrue this as our soliciting the input of raging primitives."
We need more movie people to be like Brooks, and politely tell the HR wonks (a.k.a. "raging primitives") where they can stick their suggestions.
Given it started as "Diversity & Inclusion", and the "Equity" part was added later, rather than DEI, shouldn't it be DIE? Seems more appropriate.
Gad Saad approves this comment.
Started as votes for women, encouraged by socialist men back in early 1900s
I’ll say it again…..when everything is diverse, there is no diversity.
Communism is the only word than can be used to accurately describe what is currently happening to the film and television industry.
Open your eyes and ears, it's not just entertainment. Peace and safety to you.
Some chronically online, no mark with zero life experience or any adversity to overcome was paid a fortune to write this garbage, corporate sanitisation of art.
Great conversation. Btw my employer (20k employees) has clubs for everyone, blacks, women, etc. But us "europeans" (white: polish, Brits, Irish, and just American, etc) are lumped in with the Mid East/North African club. To have a real American or "white" club would be totally unacceptable to my Woke HR dept.
Accessibility is already included equitably in the diversity.
I worked for a video production company and the owner / director always requested the same crew for that very trust reason.
yep, bring in one wrong person and they could bring it all down with ideology, better to vet anyone new thoroughly, especially women
Exactly! I'm not an actress, I'm an extra, but I happened to be in LA (on vacation, lol) when someone who knew me was casting local extras, so I got the chance to grab a nice added job to add to my resumé.
People get to know who they can trust, and it has nothing to do with these DEIA mandates. No one wants drama on set; they may tolerate it if the star has sufficient box office appeal, but everyone prefers people who are there ONLY to contribute to making a great movie.
RIP Jim Agnew's career. Its courageous to speak out against tyranny but it always comes with consequences
This is the result of the Rule of the Managerial Elite. It makes things so much easier for people who live in spreadsheets to be able to eliminate all the subtle differences between people so people can be reduced to a number in a box.
In the 1930s there was the Hays codes for movies..and it made them lame
Now its the Cartman code..
"Put a chick in it and make lame and gay..."
~Mrs Kennedy Cartman
I bet he isn’t a member if the WGA ANYMORE after this video…
The industry will DEI on this hill, but the audience wont.
I try really hard to not bring up “this generation” and am aware that as a 40 year old that we raised them, but they have really been given the keys to power with no merit, and appear ungrateful, disdainful, and bored by the summation of humanity’s effort prior to them. They have been rewarded with these initiatives, will live their lives in a cloud of superiority, pass away, and leave destruction in their wake.
The thing is, it's really on the Boomers and Gen-Xers (I say Boomers mainly because Iger and Kennedy, for example are both in their 70s now; Jennifer Lee is in her 50s) running these companies that are letting these activists run wild. Ultimately, it comes down to these execs and board members buying in to the Critical Theory and anti-white indoctrination that's been taught in universities since at least the late 80s, with each subsequent generation of academics becoming increasingly radical as these theologies mainstreamed over the last 35 years.
It's not really going to stop until academia itself is purged or even obliterated as the rite of passage it became after World War II, since this is the source of these social cancers.
The problem is we didnt raise this gen. Both parents had to work to make ends meet and the “everyone gets a trophy” school system and then activists professors away at college raised this generation. ..... and now its those plus the
Tue ancient Greeks had the right idea. Put boys into the wilderness and only let them come back when they kill a wolf.
The people pushing this stuff at the corporate level are from your generation. They are in their 30s and 40s.
Now we know EXACTLY WHY DISNEY MOVIES COST TWICE AS MUCH AS THEY SHOULD DO!
The Director/Producer has to wet nurse the gender studies hire to do their job on set because they’re inexperienced and the wrong person for the job and this costs 60k a day!
Unbelievable!
This DEIA poison stands in the way of quality Cinema. The rules and bans are proscriptive to the point they remind me of Dolores Umbridge's endless Educational Decrees.
My challenge would be to recast and rewrite any Iconic prior work of Cinema under the restrictions of these rules. Would any such project retain its Cinematic merit?
Storytelling used to come from creative individuals who had something to say and something to share.
That is virtually extinct now, stories give us nothing but the company line.
Good writers aren't allowed to be creative, insightful or unique.
Bad writers can't, so they rely on following the company line to get paid and that's where their investment ends.
"Company line" can never inspire, entertain or provoke thought.
It's empty and hollow and untalented grifters are taking jobs away from talented, creative people because Corporate doesn't want them.
I may have an out for Jim. Agnew is a Scottish name. The Scot’s, Irish and Welsh are Celtic not Anglo Saxon. Give it a bash Jim. 😉
I hear this a lot from various people, “I don’t know why this is happening.”
I know Film Threat is not a political channel, but the missing connection is to politics. Politics is the science of power. Whether you call it DEI, social justice, or cultural Marxism, it is collectivist in nature.
Collectivism is the opposite of individualism. I think it’s difficult for Americans to understand because this country was founded on individual rights. Those rights are under attack and it’s important to understand who our collectivist enemies are. Ultimately, the whole thing is about power.
they think collectivism means community, which ironically the woke/feminists themselves eroded with the destruction of the family unit and now more people are atomised and lonely wanting some sort of community.. the progressives create the problem then everyone votes for them to solve the problem but the solution is actually just an extension of the problem, such is the allure of communism
this is the worst thing to happen to creative arts
this is horrible
everything is some dictated point of contention!!!!
bleh, bland
Mel Brooks wrote a rebuttal to this DEIA crap. It was called Blazing Saddles.
