This is the Telefèric del Port (English Port Vell Aerial Tramway), not Telefèric de Montjuïc (Montjuïc Cable Car). The cable car goes up Montjuic Hill ending near the castle. Fantastic views from both.
To be frank, I used "Montjuic" in the title as I thought it would make things clearer for our tourist readership! But you're right and perhaps I should have used the correct names. As you say, great views from both!
Good video but not the Montjuïc Telefèric, It´s a common mistake by tourists. This is L´Aeri del Port in Catalan or Port Aerial Cable Car in English. With four more big red cabins from Miramar in Montjuïc to the two big towers in Port Vell/Old Port and near La Barceloneta neighborhood. And Montjuïc telefèric with many small cabins run to Montjuïc Castell and is entirely located in Montjuïc Mountain.
Thanks for that, my mistake, I should have checked more carefully🙄! As you say, it's easy to lump the two cable cars together, but they are really quite separate.
Actually, there's no real wind, the camera I was using at the time was unfortunately over-sensitive to the airflow rushing past the cabin as it moved along the cable! It's well worth doing the two trips, not expensive but get there early to avoid the queues!
That's good news. I was thinking about high winds and the carriage swinging like a broken twig from a branch. I shall definitely take your advice and arrive early. I loathe standing in long queues! Two trips? Return, you mean? Did you enjoy Barcelona?
Great upload, my friend! Thanks for sharing! Have a happy day! LIKE 144

Thanks, if I do it again I'll take more sophisticated sound equipment!
Very well done! Thank you! I suppose the wind is a daily event? I'm off to Barcelona in 5 weeks time.
