  • This is nothing different from any other nunchuck tutorial. I only have a few unique tips that I can share about the nunchakus. I thought it would be better to make an intro video first though. Thus the reason for this video.

other useful things with nunchaku's that you didn't mention in this video that perhaps you might want to share later: over the knuckles (to change grip) both left to right and up and down, full strikes can also come from the armpit chamber they will have great speed and explosiveness due to friction and there are also down the back/over the head switches.

Reeeeeally awesome...... like the PHALANX gun on a warship, it's an impenetrable sphere. At 4:00 is incredible. I wonder what the velocity is or even how many hundreds of pounds of momentary force is exerted in those jabs.
I lost interest in pursuing this art around the second or third crack on the knuckles on a cold winter day :) I can appreciate your dedication, you're a real artist.

No flashy useless stuff like many of the other vids/dvds i've seen... just the good techniques that you can use in real applications. I'd like to know what main style you have trained in... i've been checking your sparring vids - Impressive stuff!

Nice. I learn a few things i didnt already know :)
To anyone who wants to learn nunchaku:
Pick up nunchaku, swing lightly and vertically, hit self on the top of head.
Because your going to knock your self out and if its not worth it to you, You will have only knocked your self out once.
If you arent a panzi you will become more comfortable with them and actually get good.
Its alot of fun and a good workout. I still have alot of practice ahead of me but its been 3 months no KO :)
    Kee

@Maskdefender They look quite lightweight, are they demo chucks? Cords are so much better (and quieter) than chains. Did you consider for a beginners tutorial, to emphasize saftey first? How's your elbows? lol
