i think its more about the double standard of men dating younger women vs. a woman dating a younger man.
It was funny until he made the President of France mention, who is the only example on his list who is married to an older woman. All of his other examples were men who were with younger women, which would have made for a funny self-deprecating joke. Instead, he took a big, fat, steaming shit on his own joke with that single outlier, or whoever the lackey was who came up with the list.

I've never thought of donating a dollar everytime I've allowed myself to indulge in a terrible person's work but I will make sure to start applying that to my everyday life. and his message was so accurate. its impossible to erase people or events that have happened from existence, but being able to acknowledge the tragedy of it is key

Many of them have expressed to me that sometimes they look for me thru the comments just to like my comment. Others hate my comments and accuse me of being a bot just because they simply disagree with me. At the end of the day I share my views just like everyone else. If people agree or disagree that is fine with me. Also, other people leave their comments and get more likes than I do and you don’t seem me complaining about it. It’s never about getting many likes. See the 1.2 BILLION Catholics around the world who make it their mission to feed the hungry,
clothe the poor and heal the sick. Preferential option for the poor is not natural; it’s learned.
And you DARE to compare supporting the church with buying an R. Kelly CD to make ONE man
rich? Please EDUCATE YOURSELF before OPENING YOUR MOUTH AGAIN.

Like many others in entertainment, Pete uses a very tiny portion of a group to represent the whole group when it benefits him. People are so spoiled these days. Freedom has came easy to most people in the US now and they take it for granted. Stirring up controversy seems to be all that people like him do these days. This guy doesn't care about any of those kids. His focus is simply on using sickening acts like child abuse to crack a joke and smile that s*** eating smile of his.
You don't have to preach to me. I went to a Catholic school from grade 1 to 12. Yes, those same teachers got in trouble later, but not during my years. Perhaps it's not the best syllogism, but I don't see much effort in cleaning up this mess, and boycotting sure isn't going to work. I like his solution of donating some money to a victim's fund. Not sure if the Catholic Church can provide the same, but they should.

Last year it was reported that in Pennsylvania alone more than 1,000 children had been sexually abused by Catholic priests. That's one state. There have been story after story about Catholic priests being accused of abusing children, and rather than the church do anything they instead just move the priest elsewhere. Cardinals have also recently blamed their sex abuse scandals on "the plague of the homosexuality agenda". And then you have the recent admittance by the Pope of nuns being used as sex slaves (sound familiar).
The main difference between the two is that it seems like R. Kelly will finally be held accountable for his actions, while the church continues to skate by despite thousands of cases of sexual abuse.

He also suffers from crohns disease which I have, a physcial condition made worse by stress that can cause awful pains and weight loss when flaring. Charlie Chaplin actually wasn't jewish and the movie was produced in 1940, when nobody knew if Hitler would actually win and anti-semitism was a problem in the US as well, adding to the historical importance of this movie and imho making it one of the bravest movies of all time.

A 30 year old might be too immature for someone the same age, but a 20 year old could be just as mature as a 40 year old. I feel like I'm explaining something I don't need to be explaining. Everyone reaches different paces at different places in their life. As long as you're no longer a teenager, you can probably handle a relationship with anyone of any age.
